Fantastic product and service! Highly recommend!
Lee from Tint-a-Car Liverpool took time to run through all products with me and was very patient with me swapping appointment times on him. He was highly professional and helpful. I couldn't recommend his services highly enough! Will definitely be a return customer.

Workmanship warranty warning:Do Not get your home Tinted by Tint A Car ~Tint A Home
Warning: Tint A Car do not stand by their workmanship. My home was tinted, and the tension rubbers were cut and it compromised the glass. The glass is now loose in the frames because the tinting technician sliced the vinyl rubbers holding the glass. The TAC Burswood/Vic Park retailer refused and denied responsibility, then through Consumer Protection offered a Good Will payment, only to not pay after the file was closed. He offered $250 from a $500 repair. ( so measley) Then through contacting the state manager whom could not do anything eith...Read more
er because the stores are independently owned. He said he could only recommend an outcome but not enforce. Really poor and dishonest service. If I can urge you not to get your home tinted by Tint A Car or TAC Burswood please don't. Its not worth going to court over and the retailer knows it. Just don't use Tint A Car, or Tint A Home they don't stand by their workmanship. Hopefully other TAC retailers see this and say to the TAC Burswood retailer to pull his head in. See Image: the technician sliced off the entire fin of the tension vinyl rubber that hold the glass in the channel. Also I've requested an invoice from the retailer multiple times, and I'm yet to receive it. (now has been received) My window supplier and another independent assessment all concluded that the glass stability was compromised due to the rubber tension vinyls that hold the glass in the frames had the entire fins cut off! The franchise eventually paid the goodwill payment and sent the invoices, but only after getting the state manger and national GM involved. He never apologized or accepted responsibility. He should have paid the full repair of $500 plus gst, not an excessive amount to pay for their error I was still out of pocket for the repairs. The National GM said he cant enforce anything as the stores are independently owned. Do not get your home tinted by Tint A Car Or Tint A Home...especially TAC Burswood/Victoria Park Perth.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Horrible product and customer service
If you are thinking about having ceramic paint protection done by tint a car, I would highly recommend you don't. I had EliteX applied on my brand new car in September. 2 Months later I noticed watermarks on 1 side of my bonnet which I could not remove. I contacted the store straight away and they blamed our main water and the way I wash my car. After persisting they decided to apply a wax on the bonnet. When we picked up the car, the marks were gone but after a couple of washes they were back.
I had 3 different detailers looking at my car and...Read more

Congrats to Tint-A-Car in Alexandria for a weldone job
Stefan and the team took a great care and looked after my Front window tint on LC-500 and most importantly the PPE film on the CF scuff plate, a great job and highly recommended. As usual his recommendations on reduced heat and hence use Ceramic fIlm. Make such a difference on the driving on my way home. Top guys.

Did you know this ?
I thought Tintcar and Solartint were competitors but I recently discovered that they are both owned by the same company. The films they use are also the same but each brand calls them different names. Tintacar is a franchise where head office monitors their calls and accounts. Solartint stores are agencies. For example what Tintacar call Spectre, Solartint call Ceramic. Exact same product just a different name, and price. Tintacar have to add on franchise fee`s, royalties and advertising levies into the price, Solartint has none of these...Read more
. I discovered this from speaking to the owner of the Solartint Liverpool store who also owns the Tintacar store at Sutherland. He has access to all of the Solartint and Tintacar range. Apparantly on the Tintacar website they list stores at Castle Hill, Penrith, Wetherill Park, Brookvale etc. It`s very misleading because these are all Solartint stores, there is no Tintacar franchise at any of those locations. In fact there are only a few Tintacar stores in Sydney at all. So you can pay more for Franchise costs or you can get the exact same products at Solartint for much less. Anyway, ended up getting my Mazda 3 tinted in Ceramic for considerably less than I was quoted for the same stuff called a different name. I feel a bit misled.Similar opinion? Super fast, super careful, super friendly and super confident service.
I'd like to thank Steve and the team at Tint A Car Alexandria. This morning they tinted our Prius and we couldn't be happier with the result. The process was made very easy by Steve's wonderfully old-fashioned customer service (thanks for the coffee!), very fast turnaround, full transparency of conditions and pricing, and the great care they took with our vehicle. The product and the service are without fault. Excellent job, highly recommend you go straight to these guys!

Do Not Use Moorooka Tint A Car. Other Tint A Car Facilities Are Good.
Tint a Car Moorooka damaged the panel clips that hold the door card. Accidents happen, however they didn't admit to the error and tried to make out it wasn't their fault.
I spoke to the Tint-a-Car area rep and she got the Milton branch to sort the problem. work completed in about 20mins.
I believe all Tint-a-car branches are franchises. Therefore I would recommend you don't go to the Moorooka branch.

very professional and friendly
I just had my new Landcruiser done with tint and also the paint protection. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful by giving advice on what suited me the best. Being a pensioner, they gave me a discount which was good. The job looks fantastic and I am very please. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Cheap product expensive price!
The job has been done twice with two different films both the same even with Octane, I keep seeing lines one centimetre apart coming down the windows as well half side darker looks like smoke at a distance when I have polarised glasses on very annoying if driving all day!
The job is done perfectly no major mistakes but the film is cheap n nasty.
I have three other cars and I don’t get that effect happening with same glasses does anyone else have this problem or it’s my problem.

Pathetic Job!
I visited the Ravenhall tint a car, when I went to collect my car I first noticed the bubbles when I questioned the guy he said 3 weeks, once I opened the door I could see the tint was cut too short.
There were massive bubbles which arnt going away, they also informed me that my push start no longer works they had applied the wrong type of tint to my car and it interfered with my keys, but it gets better I have a new car and they chipped my door!
How can you use the wrong tint it’s what you specialize in, I’ve had to pay another company to remove the tint and fix my chipped door. Worst place ever.

Fell for the Sales pitch
Went to Tint a Car Myaree, told them I was burning through my current tinting, thought it might need changing. Sat through the entire sales pitch of the different tints on hand and was told which was the best option for me, which was the lightest colored tint. In my head I wasn’t so sure. The lightest tint which apparently is better then any dark tint. I had the lightest tint installed, I am still burning through my car. I replaced my old tint with the same rubbish
