You should better check their 6100 reviews
I'm not a user of 6200 but a user of 6100. All I want to say is, check 6100 reviews before you buy this one. The customer service is not something you can change by purchasing a new model.
Purchased in December 2021.

Good GPS Bad customer service
I have the tom tom Go 6200 Payed $450 2 years ago. While it plugged into the power it works fine, when on battery the logo screen flashes and will not turn on. I think it might be the battery. I rang customer support and his answer was its 2 years old so out of warranty he would offer 25% discount on a new GPS nothing about repairs or replacing the battery. His attitude was its a electronic device and the don't last longer than 18 months. I have a Garmin GPS that's 10 years old replaced the battery 12 months ago and still working. I am very disappointed they did not offer for any repairs even if I had to pay the only option was to buy another one.

A Useless device
I have had many tomtom devices since the GO300
The current versions are useless as they keep sending you down roads that are reserved for trucks.
In the older versions of the software that was not a problem as you could correct the error yourself.
I have reported many errors starting in 2009. I have reported the errors many times on their website and through the tomtom and on the app.
NOT ONE has been updated.
It tells be now with voice instructions to take a turn reserved for truck.
I have checked my settings, I am listed as a CAR.
USELESS DEVICE

This is the GPS to get. For get the other brands
I have used Garmin and Navman and found issues with them. Then I was told to try TomTom. What a difference. Wifi connection- You unit connects directly and easily with Wi-fi at home to update maps and camera data. You don't have to remember to update it, Tomtom tells you when updates are available and they are very regular. What I love is you can report missing camera information on the go by clicking a buttom. You can report incorrect if the speed on the screen does not match the actual limit or there is a new reduced limit. Very easy to use.

Worst gps navigation i ever buy.
Slow after a few days needed to be restarted. Voice control make device restart itself. Maps is not accurate always show destinations opposite side. My previous one tom tom xl iq route edition is far better. Not worth for something almost $500 used you old phone with google maps it much better. Only good thing is update very often.

Fast but glitchy and soon to be out of date
The following review was done of a TomTom Go 6200 being driven in Sydney over Easter 2017 with an older Via 280 operating simultaneously for comparison.
1. The new 6200 is FAST! Every action, advice and warning was given at least a second or two in advance of the Via 280. This extra second or two can mean a lot if you are in busy traffic and need all the time possible to change lanes on the Northern approaches to the Harbour Bridge. It is also particularly handy if you are accidently over the speed limit and want to keep your licence on a doub...Read more

TomTom 6200 A Backwards Step
07/02/2017 - One month after purchasing.
Hands Free Calling;
Needs phones applications to make and receive calls. The previous models downloaded the contacts list and made the call for you (using the phone).
The phones applications want to upload all of your personal information to the cloud.
No matter what anyone says... The cloud is not secure!
If you don't want to use the cloud then the only option I have is Car Mode (Galaxy S5). This is a useless application, phone need to be unlocked for it to work and you have to turn it off after you leave the car.

When connecting the TomTom GO620 in the car, maps come up for 2 minutes, then go off in favour of the promo video. Why doesn't the map stay up?
2 answers
?? Promo video ?? connect it update it and your good to go then go through the settings and change it to the way you want it
It's up to date. I need to keep touching the screen to return to maps after it goes into this introductory series of clips on the use of the unit.
There must be something I'm not doing? I don't want to set a destination each time I turn it on, but I do want to know where I am on the map.
