impressed so far
I had the toyo teo's previously and the workshop offered me these as replacement when they were due for replacement. They are on my 2000 corolla and so far i like they a lot very grippy and not noisy at any speed.
I would definitely recommend these and they are not exprensive as $95 fitted and balanced.

Okay tyres
So it was May 2015 when I had replaced Bridgestone Supercat tyres and I didn't like the eventually and decided to replace them with Toyo tyres. The Supercats struggled to grip on the wet and felt they're hazardous. I only got a set of NanoEnergy 3 tyres for the front.
So I tried the set on a street whilst it's wet and they gripped very well so far. However over the distances, i've noticed the tyres have fairly significantly less tread than the tyres at the back (Proxes C100) but still have a fair bit of tread left.
At the moment, the front and rear wheels have been rotated a while ago. Since then, the Proxes tyres grip well.
They're okay on top of that.

Very impressed
Originally our 2012 Mazda 3 had a set of stock bridgestones on for 69,000kms, which became worse with road noise as they wore. We were starting to get tired of this road noise, it made us question the refinement of the car. At some points were considering selling the car. After putting these tyres on, they car is so much smoother, quieter and handles so much better. Worth spending the extra money on the tyre.

Overrated.
Just bought these Toyo based on these reviews and so far am very disappointed with them, I have a Honda Jazz and replaced the original dunlop tyres, they drive just the same as the old but the noise levels are dreadful when I drove them home they were no different from the old but when I hit the motorway the noise levels are way worse than the dunlop, the dealer raved over how quiet they were and the forum said the same but my experience is totally the opposite.

Another great Toyo tyre.
Well Toyo have done it again. Had to replace my Toyo Teo Plus on my Holden Adventra CX6 as they had served their time. A really nice tyre and I had reviewed them positively previously on "Product Review". Could I get a good replacement was my concern. The answer is yes. Replaced with Toyo NanoEnergy3 and have now travelled 11,000 kms on them. They are as good as the previous Toyo. Great on the black tarmac being very quiet and stick like glue on wet and dry roads. Travelled the Flinders Ranges last year pulling a light camper traile...Read more
r and very happy with the fuel consumption, better then the Toyo Teo Plus. While there it was very wet in places and the muddy roads were handled with ease and safety. The roads had dried coming out from Arkaroola and I travelled at speed limits where applicable, the dirt road comfort was good.. Very, very happy with these tyres. Comfort, safety, road grip and fuel economy great.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Better than Teo Plus so far.
See my review on Teo Plus to read in conjunction with this for better comparison for all other tyres I have had on this car.
Done about 15000 k's on these so far. I find they are quieter, softer /more comfortable ride. Have not noticed any significant difference in handling, and Toyo's own ratings on all the performance factors have these slightly better than Teo's. I don't hoon, but not a Sunday driver either, would really have to push it hard through some bends with both tyres one after the other to say which was better. From what driving ...Read more
I have done so far I have not had any problem with turning in when in a bit of a hurry. I run these at a higher psi than Teo's as they are more comfortable and I like to get best wear out of my tyres which usually wear on outer edge on front. Tyre shop recommended I inflate to 40psi which I thought would be too harsh as 35/38 R/F on previous tyres were about the limit I could tolerate on anything less than perfect roads. I now run 37/40 psi cold and no harsher than old tyres at the lower pressures. Have done a couple of Sydney to Brisbane trips and don't get the same rumble noise as I did out of the Teo's on the concrete motorways which would ring in my ears for a while after being on the road for 6+ hours or 10+ if doing it in one day. So far I think I will get better mileage than Teo's, but that might be due to higher pressures and more even wear across front tyres. I rotate front to rear so tyres wear out at same time.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Slight let down
Replaced Toyo Teo plus and not as good. Out of 10
Dry grip 8
Noise 7
Ride 6
Control and feedback 6
Wear tread life 4
Wet grip 4
Fuel economy no measurable difference city driving
Value for money 5 on special
I preferred the original Toyo teo plus over these
Would be more careful before buying Toyo again as not good value at full price

Great road feel, all-round grip, reduced road noise, assured braking, fuel economy, value
About 5000 kms travelled thus far and I can see what all the fuss is about. Better than my previous benchmark, the Maxxis MA-P1 205/55/16. Rather solid tyre, made in Malaysia, not China, running at 38psi. Precise neutral steering, great all-round grip, impressively quiet on most surfaces, assured braking, slightly improved fuel economy, reasonable value for money, especially if you find current Tyrepower 4-for-the-price-of-3 deal. Unable to guesstimate wear on these, though I imagine 50,000 kms should be possible (for us older non-leadfoots). Purchase with confidence!

Good value for money product.
First impressions were markedly reduced road noise at all speeds and road surfaces, fantastic feel through the steering wheel and comfortable ride. Good enough in dry conditions and looking good in wet too. I can feel it's low rolling resistance while driving; mileage improved slightly. Sure, I will recommend them to all my friends.

The perfect small car tyre
Also spent a fair bit of time researching tyres. Ended up with these Toyo NanoEnergy 3's. Ride comfort is amazing, dry grip is excellent (far better than the Firestone tyres I had before), feels much safer to drive. Have so far only driven on wet roads post rain and was excellent.
I'm rather surprised at how soft a rubber compound these feel like, yet provide amazing wear longevity (on paper - to be confirmed). Toyo really seem to be the dark horse in tyres as my 4WD will be getting their Open Country M/T's soon as well (could not find a si...Read more
ngle bad review on them). These just seem to be the perfect small car tyre. Dry/Wet grip, good on fuel, and longevity. Still to see how they wear and handle in heavy rain, but so far soooo happy that I bought these. Will update as they wear more in.1 comment

The new Toyo Nanoenergy 3 is amazing! Can't be happier.
After spending a lot of time on research I finally bought the new Toyo Nanoenergy 3 in size 195/65 R15 for my VW Golf MK4 as a replacement for my old Toyo Teo Plus tyres. I've done over 15000Km with these tyres. The new compound tyres from Toyo have amazing dry grip, excellent wet grip and they are very quiet indeed. Fuel consumption has improved. The overall ride comfort is fantastic. These tyres are amazing. I would rate them 5 out of 5.

I have a 2012 Ford Focus Trend 2ltr - presently has Goodyear Efficient Grip - have done almost 35,000 ks and need replacing - are now very noisy and not handling very well at all - Thinking after visiting my local Tyre Power outlet of Toyo NanoEnergy 3's - just wondering if there are any comments on how they may go on the Focus? Am now almost retired and may do some touring - looking for quiet running and energy - fuel efficient + good handling.
Cheers John

Hi John, I would assume you've purchased tyres since this reply. I would highly recommend on any small, small-medium car. I was very happy with them. I know have Bridgestones on the current car and can't wait until they wear out so I can ride in comfort and feel secure again.
Thank you XYZed - haven't purchased the tyres yet as I have not been doing very many ks at the moment - however it will happen in about 3 weeks time. Based on your comments and other information I have looked at I am pretty sure that I will get the Toyo tyres - cheers John
