Yeah, I'm with sticky. Same model from 97-92 so it should. Supposedly different from wagon to sedan but unconfirmed. Again check with an installer who can give you new bolts etc for the install. You will have to drill 2 holes if they aren't there already.

I personally think that because of the age of car and kilometres you might not be able to quieten the engine and because i haven't heard your car i really can't comment

Strange question. The temp gauge should be a bit less than middle normally I would guess. I am not a mechanic and I don’t have a Sportivo.

I am not a mechanic but if the car won't "turn over" when you operate the starter, it can be the starter motor or simply the connection of the battery terminals. Check to see if you can move them by hand and if so, it is likely that the car will not start due to bad contact at the battery terminals. The battery could be flat, although this should be unlikely as you have had a new one installed.The alternator does not start the car but there could be loose connections here, especially if it has just been installed, that may affect the current flow to the starter motor etc. If the starter motor turns over, then it can be several things. If you have had a mechanic install your new battery and alternator, as I expect you have, obviously he or she must revisit what they did and ensure that your car will start.

We we finaly trade up to the next model our vehicles go to our kids. After a few years they end up onselling it. Last cruiser I sold had 326k. My first Hilux I bought at 220k. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Toyota. Verify it's service history first.

the key fob splits in half if you use a small flat screwdriver and insert it carefully in the join and wiggle it should split into two, job done.

These key fobs can reasonably be repaired by anyone with a soldering iron and some parts from jaycar. Buy a button cell backing holder PCB Mount with opposite pins and a 2032 button cell lithium type.
Open case carefully using a flat blade screwdriver around the key ring attachment point. It will crack open but use less rather than more force to pry it open. Desolder the battery by locating the two large solder points on the PCB. Replace with the new button cell holder you bought in the same positive/negative configuration.
Get a 25mm hole saw and drill out the back of the key fob at where the battery sat. 25 works best for the new battery holder. Put the case back together with new battery installed. Just put some black electrical tape around it hold it together. Or use some large heat shrink around it all.
Next, get online and find programming instruction for new key fobs for 97 to 02 Camry's svx20 or mvc20. Perform that instruction and you are in business. New battery changes are then very easy.

The problem was water leaking from windshield which was replaced 4 years back. Rain leaked in and caused electrical shorts/problems. I took it to service, they suggested I replace windscreen which I had it done. Then they cleaned the joints/junction what ever, and no problem at present. Hopefully the windscreen seal is good and durable and will not cause same problem. Totally it cost $450 for windscreen + $550 for mechanic service an total of nearly $1000.

At the base of the wiper there should be some adjustment screw(s) that may need a tweak.

Replace the drivers side with thinner Trident brand complete wiper assembly. Thicker and newer blade style ones don't work; they tend to bang on the windscreen plastic side trim. I've done it and hey presto no noise. I left the passenge blade style as is.
