Bought this car in a sedan in April, and drove it home, I noticed the windshield is more angled to give it a more aerodynamic sporty look, but this angle brought out some imperfections in the glass. The windshield had a weird magnifier bubble effect at about 1/3 down from the roof and 1/3 above the dashboard. If you were driving at night the traffic lights would look wavy and during the day looking through the glass was like looking through a fun house mirror. I have had my corolla sedan for almost 12 months now and am very happy with it . I had a Yaris before that and both vehicles were/are exceptionally reliable. The corolla is great around the city and suburbs yet handles those longer trips with ease.
The only annoyance i have is the grey strip on the dashboard which reflects in the windscreen and side mirrors in certain daylight conditions. A rather petty annoyance but illustrates poor design to me.

I have driven the sedan 2014 version and been a passenger in the 2015 hatchback
The car handles well and performs well for a corolla - easy servicing and easy to take care of, also I've owned toyota's in the past so I know that it doesn't take much to look after it - regular servicing and checking will keep it in good form.
Interior is good, especially on the ZR model, however I dislike the reverse camera on both the 2014 and 2015 corolla, it doesn't show true colour compared to the subaru I currently own.

This is the first time I have ever bought a brand new car; and what a waste of money. The demo I test drove was awesome. The car I received would be a joke if it wasn't so expensive. Picked up the car on March 23rd, 2016, a brand new Corolla Ascent Sedan. As soon as I got into the garage, I noticed a lots of paint defects (runny metallic paints) on the car's roof.

Steering wheel is making loud rubbing noise. Not as expected coming from Toyota.

Still wondering until now that those defects would have passed their Quality Control system.

I drove a 2014 Toyota Corolla sedan as a loan car for a week. The auto is smooth & responsive. Interior finishing is cheap, although this is common among most lower priced cars these days. The rear window is too small & greatly restricts your vision, although compensated somewhat by the good rear camera. Front windscreen is angled down too low (it has insufficient vertical height) and therefore also restricts your vision.
