FRAUDULENT THIEVES
Trivaga were fined 10 Million dollars by the ACCC for false and misleading advertising by inserting fictional prices!!!
Yet Geraldine Miller continually VOMITS lies all over television withTrivago pocketing 2 billion dollars per year from the commisions they rape from property owners and by deceiving guests.
The fine was a joke with the television adds by these thieves still being aired 50 times a day currently and our Networks are part of this crime and nothing changes.

The filters are hopeless
I was searching for pet friendly accommodation, but wasted a lot of time because even though the Trivago site identified places as pet friendly when you went to the booking sites, they were not. It’s frustrating when you think you’ve found something and you haven’t, especially when the adverts specifically promote this feature. Better to not have the feature at all. Gave up in the end.

Clean Affordable Accommodation close to Brisbane CBD
Clean and affordable motel. Room spacious with balcony looking out to the lights of Brisbane CBD. Staff so friendly and booking very simple. Fantastic cooked breakfast. New managers just lovely.

Incorrect information led to a bad choice
Incorrect information about how far the hotel was from where i needed to go led to booking a hotel a long way away and when i tried to cancel half an hour later i couldnt avoid the cancellation fee. Also i chose a hotel where parking was 'available' only to find there is a significant extra charge.

Trivago: an unnecessary product
I booked 4 nights at Studio M hotel Singapore for November, 2018. I made and paid for the booking in late 2017. The booking was passed to Hotelsquickly and booked. What I didn't know was that Hotelsquickly cancelled the booking one week later and pocketed my money. My wife and I arrived for our scheduled stay to find that there was no booking. en more helpful. They helped us to rebook (at my expense) and gave us an free upgrade and free breakfasts. This was a godsend. Trivago spent the next 3 weeks blaming Hotelsquickly and doing nothing. I finally pointed out to them, that I contracted them to make my arrangements and use of subcontractors was their problem. After 5 weeks of having to provide copies of receipts etc., Trivago refunded my money. THe Hotel rightly pointed out to me that there is NO NEED to use any of these booking services. AND this is the message I would like to pass on to all readers. Book direct with your chosen hotel. In most cases the cost is lower than all the hyped up claims of these companies. Most disgusting customer service who stole my money
I order 9 meals from A life plus. Received my order form and all. On arrival only 5 meals were delivered. I emailed my complaint at 7.30 in the morning upon opening my delivery. I was left without contact all day and then received a series of phone calls in which I was questioned and made to feel like a complete fool by this company trying to blame me for the order. to convince me that the back end of his system was being investigated but I felt again that they were not taking my complaint seriously. He offered me a refund of only two of the missing five meals. I tried to explain that their backend processes had nothing to do with me as a consumer. He kept trying to argue with me and push points. The fact is I made an order, I paid for the order on the payment page, and I received the order confirmation, the invoice and delivery docket. Bermagui motels at their best
We moved my wife's parents from Tilba Tilba to the mid north coast in January and had to stay for just on a week. The rooms were very clean and really a surprise for a country town. The chap in charge (sorry we have forgot is name) was very helpful and always there for a chat. We had to extend our stay and then bring my inlaws into stay after the upliftand the manger was always very accommodating.
We had a very pleasant stay and a bonus was being across the road from the bowling club.
I would highly recommend this motel to anyone

Full Refund for incorrect booking
We decided to book a family holiday to Hobart, TAS and used Trivago to research and select our holiday apartment. The entire process turned into a nightmare. ago had acknowledged the error and not only offered me a full refund but also covered the difference in rental for our new holiday booking. We were finally able to have a good holiday. Hotel Quickly Booking for Centera Bangkok booked in August cancelled by them on 8 Dec 18 through TRI
Booked accommodation through Trivago for accommodation at Centera Bangkok through HotelQuickly, on checking our booking for January with the hotel found that HotelQuickly cancelled the booking without advising us I called the hotel directly and nothing they can do as hotel is fully booked and reared us to agent. Cannot contact HotelQuickly and lost the accommodation Payment. We will be stranded in Bangkok with anywhere to stay, at least we found out before we go in late January, many have not been so fortunate. I will not be using online booking agencies ever again especially trivago who referred hotel quickly.

Hotekquickly
Was turned away and told my room had been cancelled. Fully paid for! HotelQuickly. I will never book through any online company again and advise others to do the same. Hotels will always match the price of a cheaper agent. I think trivago or whoever allowed hotelquickly to use their sites should step up and help people recover their refunds. A total disgrace.

Hotel Quickly! Shame on Trivago
I booked and paid for a room in advance for my trip in January 2022. I booked it in October last with free cancellation option and suddenly received an email a few days ago from Hotel Quickly that my reservation has been canceled. They will not be able to refund my money and will arrange a credit voucher refund for future booking.
I tried to communicate with Hotel Quickly and Trivago but Hotel Quickly's contact number doesn't work and Trivago doesn't have any contact number. Only email communication and I wrote to them to resolve my issue. ...Read more
First, they told me to wait for them to communicate with Hotel Quickly and then, I got a reply today requesting me to talk to my insurance for compensation or dispute resolution team to cancel the payment whereas the money is already gone two months ago. The first reply from Hotel Quickly was that they can only organize a voucher which is not acceptable as some media review clearly says that is worthless. I wrote to them again for a refund and they didn't even bother to reply back. So, people just avoid Trivago as they are misleading people to some fraud agents who are trying to rip off people and while asking for a resolution from Trivago they are giving a fake excuse. Hotel Quickly
I booked and paid for a room on Xmas Eve and Xmas Day. Then I received an email from Hotel Quickly to say my reservation has been cancelled. They will arrange for a voucher refund.
Well was reading the reviews on Hotel Quickly. Someone who was in Hong Kong went to the address to find the premises empty. Another review did receive a voucher but it was useless.
So my Christmas has been ruined as I don't have the money to rebook.
I'm writing this review on Trivago hoping they will look more closely into the companys you put on your site.
I have learnt my lesson the hard way.

Terrible very bad experience
Why would a supposedly reputable company such as Trivago align themselves with completely fradualant company’s such as Hotel Quickly.
The only reason Hotel Quickly exist is to rip off innocent travellers, they will take your money and run travellers beware!!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed.
We had the same problem booked and paid in September for accommodation only to contact hotel to say we would not get there tell 11.00pm only to be told booking had been cancelled Saturday
This left us having to find new accommodation 2 hrs before we left for airport
This came at an extra cost of $213 so all up our accommodation cost us $479
We have managed to get original booking money back but the have rejected the extra cost

Terrible pricing using trivago
I have used trivago 8 times now to book accomodation. There discounts look really good. Then I tried booking direct with the accomodation place that I wanted to stay at. Guess what YES I got a better price than trivago. I only use the trivago web site now to check prices. I would not really use them to book anywhere

Hotel Deals listed are not a true reflection of rate discounts.
Trivago shows a hotels most expensive room and the cheapest room and pretends the rate difference is a discount when it is not. They also list the deals in order of which company pays them more - not the best possible price. We would never have subscribed again as it was a total waste of money, In 1 year we never received a single hotel direct booking through Trivago it's only another money making grab on their behalf. Small businesses are doing it tough enough with exorbitant commissions to third party's and Trivago is just making it worse!! Just another corporate machine taking money from small businesses and lining the pockets of CEOs. Always book direct with the hotel for the best deals and also the best service. HotelQuickly Fraudulent
Don't use HotelQuickly. We had to pay up front amd arrived at the hotel to find that our booking had been cancelled the previous evening by Hotel Quickly. No answer on help phone line. Stole our money. Trivago should not list them.

Used trivago to get cheapest 5 star accomodation in Moamma N.S.W.
