My quartz burner hasn’t been as successful as I had hoped. I have really bad flare ups, which is the thing I wanted to avoid. Any tips from anyone? It’s really disappointing.

Can someone give me some advice? One of my Z&B RQT burners is misfiring with a burbling sound. I have check the jet and it is clean. I have swapped burners to see if it is a burner problem but it is still misfiring at the same jet position.

What size jet for change over to natural gas?

I'm sorry, not sure. BBQ's Galore gave me the numbers for two guys who set up BBQ's professionally and one of them took care of it. Still waiting for a follow up call and still not happy.
On the back of the bbq is a plate that confirms the jet size for natural gas or lpg. When you buy the natural gas conversion kit it contains a couple of different jet sizes. Just refer to the plate on the back of the bbq.

Your BBQ has a basic design flaw. I've had to replace three of the glass burner covers on three separate occasions. There is no protection from the plates if they are lifted out ( while they are hot).As we do a lot of cooking on this BBQ, we constantly change the plate to have all 4 grills going. Either a better handle than those provided, or metal bars between the glass covers would stop this from happening. The glass covers have cost me $40 each from 'barbecues galore'. Otherwise I absolutely love this BBQ.It cooks evenly, and is a pleasure to use. Is it possible for me to purchase the glass covers any cheaper? Michael

how do I clean the drip tray?
1 answer
Hi,
I followed the instructions on the Z & B website. It shows how to clean the BBQ completely. In regards to the drip tray. I slide it out remove the fat soak and replace it with new fat soak after around 20 BBQ's. I also line the bottom of the drip tray with alfoil.

I really like the Turbo Elite Island module with fridge to complete my outdoor kitchen - but I don't want the sink. Is there a version that has just the fridge?
2 answers
You are asking the wrong person. Ask the Turbo retailers.
The Grand Turbo with double door fridge attached may be the answer - same burner technology, full 304 stainless, side burner, rotisserie included, granite bench top, extra bench space & storage drawers.
Full disclosure - I work at Barbeques Galore, Marion SA - I solve your outdoor kitchen requirements! :)
