No food, no refund, no customer service.
Uber eats have stuffed up my last 3 consecutive orders. My food did arrive but orders were either not mine or the majority of the order was missing. It may not always be their fault but they are the ones who take the money so need to take responsibility. Restaurants just say to contact uber for refund and re order at full price again. Whether you get a refund or not depends on who receives your complaint and you often don't get a full refund either. Despite offering proof of the mistakes, after my 3rd incorrect order I was offered no refund and was accused of making fraudulent claims.
Will never use them again.

Waited for one hour. We were tracking order . Then saw it the was picked up and then about 2mins it came thru cancelled. No attempt to contact us, nothing. Restaurant does not want to help.

Proof that I did speak too the delivery guy. Your response is very wrong. I want my money back, I'm not paying for something I didn't receive. Very poor customer service

Horrible service! My order never arrived and got charged for it.
We waited over an hour for our order and it got cancelled, I never heard from the driver! I tried contacting a few numbers provided on the websites but could not get through to anyone, even the restaurant we ordered from could not do anything to help.
Uber eats finally contacted us the next day they didn’t want to help and refused to provide me the refund. I’m so angry and frustrated by the way they treated their customers, we didn’t even get to eat our dinner that night and yet we paid $62 for it.
I will not use Uber eats ever again!

Horrible Experience! Not worth it. Heard drivers eat your food & say they attempted to deliver... and still get charged.
We ordered and asked the food to be delivered to the tennis courts. Uber driver said they turned up. Never received a phone call, waited 5 minutes and they left. Charged us $50 bucks. Apparently they said they were waiting in some random carpark, when we explicitly wrote "We're on the tennis courts, please come to the tennis courts and call us on 0_______ when you get here". ive a call. Twice we emailed them... twice they replied that the existing charge stands. NEVER EVER USE UBER EATS. We're swapping to Deliveroo or for that matter any body else. In fact, we're stopping using Uber altogether. There are many other providers out there now, who won't s__w you for your money. Customer service - worst ever. Service - worst ever. Fraudulent scamming company
Waste of your money time and health with these dodgy useless company. Never in my life have I ever seen a company that’s steals and charges people money for food they never order. I haven’t used the app in months nor do I even have it on any device and somehow they made an order for me in a region I don’t live and took my money

Do not order Uber Eats if you are in 14 day quarantine.
We are at at the Crowne Plaza, Melbourne in quarantine. The security staff now open up your Uber Eats bag. To me this is a filthy practice. We are worried about contamination from the security staff.

Gift card can't be used in Australia
I live in Sydney Australia and purchased a gift card for my wife (who also lives in Sydney) and she uses an Australian mobile and Australian email address associated with her Ubereats account. She has activated the gift card and order Ubereats and can see the credit in her account. However it can never be applied saying the gift card is the wrong region and can't be applied.

No means of getting a refund, or even a region transfer of the funds, so she can use the money sitting on her account (which can be seen but not used!). Extremely frustrating! This is really misleading as this is not clear on the Ubereats website as to what people should do when sending the gift card to someone outside of the US.Similar opinion? Charged my card for on reason
I got charged on my $16.80 for no reason. No food was ordered and I got a charge of $16.80 and they unwilling to listen or refund me the money and give me automated replies that does not. There is no contact number to call, just email which take too long and time consuming. I have never have such bad experience with any company. This is a horrible service and cannot be trusted with card details.

$30 promo code for 1st order didn't work.
Uber Eats... After bombarding me with promo emails, begging me to use their app and receive $30 off. I decided to give it a go and entered the code. The app accepted the code and I paid a whopping $79 for dinner for 2 ppl only to then find out the app didn't take off the discount.
What really upset me was I could have bought similar food from Menu Log for about $55 delivered. And if this wasn't annoying enough, Uber Eats make it near impossible to contact them. I'm not downloading Twitter and making an account just to register a complaint. Where is your phone number or email address.
Uber Eats, never again. I'm deleting the app. What a waste of time and money.

Total crap!
Stuck in lockdown isolation, ordered food two days apart. First time, FOOD NEVER ARRIVED. Just got the email receipt and the money taken from my account! Called the restaurant, who said it's out of their hands once the driver leaves their premises. They did call Uber Eats for me and I got a refund. The worst service, amazing how they are still doing business
Would give less than 1 star if possible. Food never arrived (Brisbane area). They claim a call was made to us, but this was from a Sydney number. I was not able to answer the call at the time. Delivery driver never rang the buzzer for us to meet them downstairs to collect food. Made complaints to Uber support and they say they won't offer refund as attempt was made to deliver. Worst service in history. Avoid.

Unpredictable service
Failed deliveries more than once, bad customer service more than once. This explains the whole bad experience for me using Uber eats in Australia. Not sure how drivers/ riders are selected. Order was marked as “completed” a few times when the food didn’t even come. Even had a help team telling me that she do not know how to help and don’t know what to do. You must be kidding me to hire someone that doesn’t know how to do her job.

Absolute joke. No food. No communication. No reply to my requests for help. As soon as I get a refund I will be deleting his app forever. Thankfully the monopoly they had is over.

Pathetic!
First time ordering from UberEats and WOULD NOT do it again! Only got 2 out of the 3 items that I ordered. This is not good enough! I am very annoyed. There is no way to even get the missing item. When trying to fix it through the app I got told to wait 24 hours for them to get back at me. That does not solve the issue! RIDICULOUS!!!
Also, the prices of the food is more expensive though UberEats then the actual menu of the restaurant, just ridiculous and pathetic.

Uber is scum
I would give less than 1 star. Hard to use and they charged nearly double what the restaurants prices are. We found the menu after we ordered And it’s cheaper to catch an actual Uber to the restaurant and back than to use Uber eats.

Awesome and timely service!
Got a free $30 voucher from Ubereats. Was a bit nervous considering the scathing reviews I have seen. Went ahead anyway and it was delivered perfectly. Received my meal super quickly and the driver followed my instructions exactly. Meal was exactly what I ordered and hot. Will try them again one day.

Waist of money and Time
I brought one of their egift cards worth $150, when trying to use it online it takes the card number but refuses to allow it to be used when ordering, every single time I have tried to use it when ordering the site keeps asking for payment method, when you click on gift card all it will do is ask you to put in the number of the gift card and then say the card is already registered then cancel the order . So I tried the phone app, same thing. I tried to ring the Adelaide number just to find out it is no longer in use . I have been trying to look for a email address for them but every one I have found comes back as "not a valid email address" . Avoid at all cost it's nothing but a scam

Hi, I am wondering why McDonald's doesn't deliver to me when I am just over 2km from the store.. there app says we are in range, but then forwards to Uber eats app and says no.

You have to ask Uber directly as they won’t reply here.
does it say no, or just won't deliver at that time? We sometimes get a hot choc delivery from our local maccas via uber eats and at random times, they'll close deliveries. So i drove down to the Maccas store to get it myself (oh, the horror!!), and I asked them why i couldn't get it delivered tonight, and they said there were no drivers around, or they were too busy or something. Is it all the time that you can't get it delivered or just sometimes? Is a pain, i know.
