Fitzroy Melbourne Ultra Tune
In comparison to some other roadworthy inspection providers they seemed quite overpriced with their roadworthy certificates.
There were, in my view, some false repair/replacement issues raised in the roadworthy inspection that I don't agree with.

Morayfield are liars
Had a service done was told needed a diff rebuild on my car at a cost of $3300. Got a second and third opinion both with the same result that my diff was in perfect running order no metal in oil as stated by Ultra tune Morayfield they drained the oil and showed me and it was fine
Also Ultra tune broke my air filter case and added it to the quote for diff repair

Disgusting ad
My family has been so dissapointed by the ultra tune ads that have been showing constantly throughout the Australian Open. They are degrading to women, unnecessary, and unprofessional. I have used your services in the past but I refuse to in the future now.

Farewell Ultra Tune !
We have always used Ultra Tune for servicing all my family members vehicles.
NOT ANYMORE ! Deeply offended, as is my wife, sons and daughter who all own their own vehicles which were being serviced by UT.
We are embarrassed to be associated with UT due to your narrow minded, pathetic, sexist advertising and choose to no longer continue our association.
So angry !

Offered Roses but Smelt a Rat
Was initially charmed by home drop and pick up service. Quoted $285 for indicator stalk + installation. Seemed overpriced so I did my own research. They lied to me and told me the part was $120 when in fact the retail price new was $85 and would've been cheaper wholesale, therefore they wanted in excess of $200 just for a 15-30 min job! Lucky I did my research first and only spent $100 total on good used part and installation at Charlestown Steering. Saved myself $185!

Disgusting sexist ads
I am appalled at the ads that Ultratune continue to show. The only positive that I can see is using the ad as an opportunity to discuss as a Father with my three teenage sons how important it is to respect and not objectify women. Never will use or recommend their service. No doubt the individuals who work at these centres are good people who have been let down by their senior management from the dark ages.

Embarrassing sexist vulgar inappropriate and out of date
January 2020 ad is out of place in current advertising. My 16 year old granddaughters are embarrassed by it, my 20 year old grandson is embarrassed by it, my wife and I are amazed this sexist, demeaning to women, advert can find a place on TV. Had our car serviced early January 2020 at Ultratune Brandon Park. We will never return.

Altona north product review.
I booked in for a major service. When I dropped my car off, l explained that I did not want to spend to much on any major works over and beyond my major service. I did ask them to phone me anyway and I would make a decision weather or not to go ahead with any large repairs. I paid $250 for just about nothing. No oil change, no spark plugs etc. $174 went on Waste, workshop fees and Labour cost, $80 went into a supposed service. Scott is no longer managing this store and We will no longer take our cars to be serviced there. I have to now take my car for MAJOR service elsewhere .

Don't go to Gawler Ultra Tune shoddy workmanship and very rude staff
We took our Ford Territory to the Gawler South Australia Ultra Tune because transmission fluid was leaking into the cooling system .we were told they would repair it for us and it would cost $680 . Big mistake picked up the car 2 days later the vehicle started shut down when we approached intersections or had to stop at traffic lights. Took the vehicle back to them only to be told they had test driven it and there was nothing wrong. Christmas day after visiting our son we came out to get in our car only to find transmission fluid all over the ...Read more
floor. as soon as we could we had it towed to another transmission repairer who told us that the transmission needed a complete overhaul as Ultra tune had not cleaned out all the coolant that had seeped into the trans causing it to boil. So thanks for nothing mister Ultra Tune your shoddy work has cost us an extra $2675 .We believe we should be entitled to a full refund but when we rang you you hung up on us so now we are going to seek advise from consumer affairs.Similar opinion? Leaves alot to be desired and an empty wallet!
Have always avoided Ultra Tune like the plague but had to cave and use them Friday before Xmas due to not being able to get my car in anywhere else when my car was suddenly running terribly and I need it to go away for a Xmas holidays.
Monday afternoon I am contacted and told that it needs a new ignition coil pack, fuel filter and plugs coming in at $1498. It was urgent so I told them to go ahead with the repairs and was told it would be ready Xmas Eve at 2pm.
True to their word it was ready. When I arrived to collect my car and was told tha...Read more
t they would need to jump start it for me as they sent the battery flat with all the testing they done via the diognostic computer and they couldn't leave it running to charge the battery as I had absolutely no fuel in my car! Does the workshop not have a battery charger that they could have used?? I drove not even 500m from the workshop and my car died again. I rang the mechanic I dealt with at Ultra Tune immediately and told him what had happened. I was told that the fuel filter would need to settle and it should be good within half an hour. He gave me his mobile to contact him if the issue continued and he would recifiy it immediately. Well the issue continued, I msgd him twice, didn't receive a reply at all. By this time on Xmas eve the workshop was closed so our Christmas holiday was cancelled.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

No one else could fix my car.

UltraTune Ferntree Gully. Rip off.
I've been going there a few times because he has a high enough work shop for my high-top Land cruiser. Ive always thought the bills were high but after the invoice for the service on my wife's Fiat looked more like the state budget of a small country I really had a look at past work.
-Changed the power steering pump on my Land cruiser. Kept leaking. Went back twice, never solved.
Went to different mechanic, changed a seal. Charged me 10 dollar for a seal and 45 minutes of work.
-Hourly labor rates are 120.-, which you would ...Read more

So disgusted by the sexist ultra tune ads
So disgusted by the sexist ultra tune advertisements sexualising women. They are disgraceful, demeaning and I am deeply offended. I will never have my car serviced at ultra tune. In this day and age I would have thought that standards have improved. These ads take society back to the dark ages. Disgraceful. I am lobbying with my wallet by NEVER going to ultra tune. What kind of society are we living in if we tolerate this kind of sexist, mysogenistic behavior. I am appalled.

Dodgy- Ultra Tune Drummoyne
Asked for full service according to log book but they didn't do part of the service which resulted in a transmission failure in my car a few months later. I lodged a complaint with Fair trading and then the owner Tan lied to fair trading saying I told him I did not want that part of the service done. I just asked for the log book service and because he didn't do it properly he lies to get out of the error. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE if you want to drive a safe car.

Terrible
Ultra tune Nowra. Took my mazda 3 in for minor service and 3 tyres. Tyres were $130 each. Okay. Bit pricey but I could live with it at $390 for three new tyres. What I cant live with is the remainder of the bill. $320 for a minor service??? On a Mazda 3? You must be kidding. Never ever again.

Disappointed
Ultratune Midlands WA has undermined my trust in this organisation. I travel a lot and so have to seek servicing away from home. This is the first business that I feel charged an excessive amount for a service. I never paid so much for a regular service since I purchased the car new.
It is really disappointing since I have used Ultratune while travelling and at home in Qld. With this experience I will seek other avenues for mechanical ical servicing.

UltraTune Kingsway in South Melbourne is the best!
Ultratune Kingsway has the best, honest and super capable team. Clear communication and amazing customer service. They always make time for the customer.
I took my car with a horrible oil leak, the air conditioner was not working and the car was not driving well.
Due to all the issues, rather than simply a call to tell you all things are wrong, they took the time to show me what it was needed to be done. They truly did the best for me to get affordable parts and a plan to make the labour time effective.
My car, that I bought early 2012, now drives again so well and all is all functional.
Thank you again for doing such an amazing job!!

Very Rude staff and wastage of time for calling Road side assistance.
I called road side assistance because my car break down and as per road side assistance policy they have to tow my car to your nearest ultra tune workshop only but workshop was that busy they refused to accept my car because next day was public holiday. I requested them if they can tow back to my home but declined. They only tow to ultra tune workshop and before that you have to ask workshop whether you can bring your car for repair or not and if they don't have availability you will be stranded on road side for whole day.
Please note if you going to call ultra tune roadside assistance, please make sure you have first appointment with workshop to get your car towed.

Is it strange that I am never given a written and priced quote when I drop my car off? I always ask for one and it always just says what the work is without a cost.

Hi, I recently had my tyres changed at an ultra tune on a small-medium sized car. I was charged for 4x4 tyre removal. Is there a difference in charge from a car tyre to a 4x4 tyre? What are the parameters of a 4x4 tyre? Thank you.
