Fantastic results
Thank you for bringing out this product and making it affordable. My dogs are not suffering from poor bowel movements anymore which means no more vet trips to clear anal glands (win/win!). With two dogs, I'm looking forward to seeing a 7kg bag on the shelves and to advocating your products to others in Tasmania.

Our poodle suffered from allegies and nothing we tried seemed to work. We tried him on Nature's Goodness grainfree dry food and immediately noticed the difference. Much lessscratching and nibbling and his coat is much healthier. Can't recommend this product enough for dogs that may suffer allegies. We asl use the VIP grainfree roll and tinned food.

Great product
My old girl a jack russell of 14 went a little loopy almost depressed, after an op to remove some bad teeth we thought she would improve but was still under the weather, changed her diet to grainfree. . And I have my happy old girl back, I think it agrees with her stomach a whole lot better than other products:-)

Excellent!
I used to buy Royal Canin for my German Shepherd, until I discovered VIP Natures Goodness grainfree dry food at my local Coles supermarket. I had run out of Royal Canin and was looking for a temporary replacement. I bought a bag after reading the ingredients. The ingredients were superior to Royal Canin, so I was keen to give it a try ( considering it was also a fraction of the cost of Royal Canin).
My dog loved it. In fact, she gobbles it up at great speed. My dog loves it. I love the ingredients AND the price. I'm a convert. Finally an affordable and high quality dog food, that my dog absolutely adores.
I'm a convert. Very highly recommended as a premium dry dog food. My GSD loves it too. Win win :)
Goodbye Royal Canin!

Awesome supermarket brand! :)
I used to use optimum brand & now I've come across your brand, love it my dog's coat looks much shiner etc!
Would like to buy bulk though, can only buy 3 kilo bags of dry food at Woolworths or Coles & wet food is unavailable to buy, not sure if you sell that as well! :)

Grain free supermarket dog food
This is the only grain free dog food I have come across in the supermarket. Added bonus is that it is made in Australia. IMO this product is head and shoulders above the other supermarket brands on offer that are loaded with fillers such as wheat, corn, brewers rice etc. while it may appear slightly more expensive you are getting better quality ingredients that the dog can use, therefore less waste, faeces.
From my research it compares well with the significantly more expensive grainfree super premium brands available in the pet food store/on...Read more

This food has made my dog well again!
my 6 year old chihuahua started having fits & was gaining weight although she was hardly eating. After dong a lot of research I decide a grain free diet would be worth a try. Well I came across VIP grainfree and we haven't looked back. My dog improved after just a few weeks on this food and is back to her playful happy self . An added bonus is that all 3 of my dogs love this food, it's also not too expensive. Please don't stop making this product! As others have said it would be great if it came in bigger bags and also more variieties. Great product can't reommend it highly enough. Thanks VIP grainfree

Great product - need bigger bags
Use it for my Kelpie who has a sensitive tummy/skin. After trial and error with a number of brands this is one of the only ones that doesn't leave him with itchy skin and the runs. Really need bigger bags though with 3 large dogs (2 of which are growing puppies!) and a small dog, the 3-7kg bags don't last long!

After years of premium this food outdoes them all!!!
I have a Great Dane who has very sensitive skin and as a result sheds a massive amount of hair - after seeing another Dane user having some success with this product I decided to give it a go. Within a month not only has my Dane put on great condition her shedding is less than half of what it was!!! This product is amazing - I only wish it came in bigger bags!!!

Love this product for my labradoodle!
Love this product for my labradoodle! BUT any chance of caring for the animals which die to feed our pets? Introduction of a free range chicken and duck version? (I wouldn't touch the product with kangaroo in it.) Wild animal lovers and protectors have pets too. I'm sure a range like this would be popular. I know it would cost more.
The fact it has no grains and is higher in protein and fat - closer to natural diet for dogs.
Can't seem to find larger bags stocked. Would like to se it go 'free range'. Hate supporting cruel factory farming.

Found another brand I've switched to. Still grain free but uses free range chicken and doesn't use kangaroos in any of its products. Switched my dog over to that and his coat looks great.

Good Stuff
Finally a biscuit that my dogs seem to absolutely love and that is Grainfree and easy on the wallet in comparison to other brands of good quality dog food (so that makes my dad a very happy person!) and as I do tend to nag on my parents on the positives in feeding Grainfree foods to the dogs when we then found our happy 'medium' (VIP Natures Goodness Grainfree). The dogs absolutely love it, it is such a winner with my small breed that I am even able to use the kibble pieces as 'treats' when in training with her instead of always relying on actu...Read more

I have a 9 month old German Shepherd, she was on Eukanuba dry food, $100 a bag and I thought it should be a good product.
But she was constantly getting bouts of Diarrhea, running out to the toilet in the middle of the night, and her stomach would be making gurgling sounds, I threw out the whole bag with disgust and after putting her on a chicken and rice diet once again, symptoms cleared up, I started researching on the net different dry foods for dogs with sensitive tummy's, I strongly support Australian made products, I want something mad...Read more

The only grain free dog food I've seen on the market!
I switched my 10 year old border collie to this almost a year ago now. Her skin seems less sensitive and she has actually been losing weight on this food whilst maintaining her high energetic nature. She has a little arthritis in her back legs but I've noticed she has been dealing with it better and slightly less stiff since being on this food which is a plus!
In the past she's mostly been fed supercoat and sometimes science diet mixed with it. She used to get very bored with that food but she's never been slow to eat the VIP grain free biscui...Read more

Very good
Great to have a grain free option as it really helps my boy with his itchy skin, but it would be better if it came in a much bigger bag say 20kg feeding 4 labs it adds up quickly in price and I can't always even get the 7kg bags which means I have to buy about 5x 3kg bags (seems silly), however they all do wonderfully on it really shiny coats!
helps with itchy skin
bag too small

My thoughts too! Where do you get a 20kg bag?????

Dogs enjoy it and its healthy
I supplement the biscuits with cooked veges and sardines sometimes but just for variety. The dogs love it plain, drinking plain water afterwards. I've tried two varieties so far. I hope they bring out bigger bag sizes eg 20kg and a bigger biscuit size as one of my dogs "breathes in" and chokes because he's not chewing the small biscuits.
Dogs love it and it's healthy.
Bags too small: 20 kg bags please. Biscuits to be bigger to stop dogs "breathing them in" and gagging instead of chewing them.

Human safe & hands (paws) down a winner!
I am a cleaner for the Sales & Marketing Manager at V.I.P. Petfoods. The staff & management actually eat it themselves to test out its quality... in my view, anything that is safe for human consumption must be ok :) I am a big fan of grainfree products as research has proven that grain as a filler only adds extra weight to an animal, therefore less grain means more active energy. (Notice how puppy food contains more protein than adult food - for good growth & development!) I always look for the highest protein foods & was very happy with what I...Read more
was already using, but after much protest he recently gave me a few products to try so I tested them on my two (very, very active) American Staffys by giving them half a bowl of vip & half a bowl of my regular dog food - they both went for the vip first... hands down a winner! Or should I say 'paws' down. I will now be hounding him to introduce a much, much larger bag (ie 10-15kg) to keep up with my two boys. Only problem is, I need to eat before giving them any of the 'treats' range coz it smells good enough for me to eat too :)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Is there a light low calorie one in this make

Hi Ollie, Unfortunately we do not have a low calorie dry food in our range, however we do have a Lite & Mature chilled dog roll which can be fed in addition to dry food or as a stand alone diet as it is complete and balanced for all your dogs nutritional needs.

Ollieasked
Hi can I freeze the dog roll
1 answer
Real Pet Food Co.Natures Goodness
Hi Ollie, We recommend storing our rolls in the fridge at 4°C to ensure that they remain in optimal condition to the end of their shelf life.
If the roll is too large for your furry companion to consume within 5 days of opening the pack, you may like to freeze the roll.
When storing frozen, we suggest dividing the rollsinto meal sized portions and freezing these portions individually. We recommend using these frozen portions prior to the best before date of the roll is reached.
Thawing the roll portions is best done in the fridge, and once thawed, we do not recommend to re-freeze. You may notice that after thawing, the roll portions may appear a little soggy, as the natural gels used to create the firm texture, can break down during the freezing and thawing process.
We hope this helps
