Anyone have experience with tailor made with strap/belt recline, wanting to know if backrest can go completely up right and does anyone have any problems with seat/backrest not being even slopping to one side
2 answers
I don’t know what you are talking about with the tailor made part of your question. My seat sits up far enough-you wouldn’t really want it bolt upright. As for the backrest sloping-there are two straps you use to adjust it and if you pull them evenly it will be dead straight. So no problems there :)

Hi may I ask what is the difference between snap ultra tailormade and snap ultra belt recline? Thanks.
3 answers
Tailor made has a strap-belt recline for seat backrest but the snap ultra is a moulded L shape seat whole seat moves up and down to recline not just backrest can’t change nappy in it as seat will never lay flat
That’s my understanding
Thanks Deanna. My version is the Belt recline version so i can pull the strap and the backrest is fully reclined. So i'm not quite sure what else is different with the tailor made version (except the fabrics). If nothing else, no point upgrading to the tailor made version.

The pram doesn't fold the same when the seat is 'facing away from mother', it's much wider than the other way, am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it is?

Hi I was just enquiring if you have a toddler seat that is compatible with the valco snap ultra for second child?? Thankyou
Taylahasked
Hi. I have the snap ultra pram for my newborn, but am wondering what toddler seat is compatible with the pram. I am struggling to find the valco snap ultra toddler seat
3 answers
Hi Taylah. The seat that comes with the pram is suitable for newborn up to 20kg; there is no “toddler seat”. You can get a bassinet instead of the seat, while they’re a newborn. (Sorry I’m a bit confused by the question!)
Hi Alex, sorry about the confusion. A toddler seat to attach to the pram as well so I can take both my daughter and niece and only have to use the one pram

Hi, I pulled my snap ultra tailor made apart the other day to wash. Every part was disambeled and came out of the wash fine. I got it all back together, except for the recliner belt. I cannot figure out which way it needs to be weaved through the triangle clips on the back of the seat aswell as the clip at the top that holds it in place. Each way I have done it the belt doesn't adjust right, or hold position.
Wondering if there is a video available to follow to thread them through correctly.
Thanks!

Do I need to buy the sports wheels for this pram? I walk quite a bit on roads and footpaths. Will the standard wheels wear out?

I have the Valco Snap Ultra Tailormade and and there is absolutely no padding to it, it’s so hard on my 3 month olds head that it’s leaving a big red mark where his head is resting. Is this normal? Or do you have suggestions what I can do?

Hi Anon180, thanks for getting in touch. This isn't something that I have heard being an issue before, please feel free to contact our customer service team if you would like. Also, something like an AllSort head hugger might work, I have linked it here for you to have a look at http://veebee.com.au/allsorts-seat-pad-head-hugger.html

Hi. I have a Valco Snap tailormade. With the waist strap, there is a black D shaped ring attached to the strap, closest to the where the baby’s hips would be. Is this D ring meant to be on the outside or underneath the fabric attached somewhere? It appears that it will dig in to the baby’s waist?

Anon627asked
My snap ultra seat doesn't fold. When I collapse the pram the chassis folds down as per all the videos I've watched, but the seat stays in position. Does it need to be facing a certain way or in a particular recline to collapse in one piece? I have to remove the seat each time which is frustrating.
1 answer
Valiant B.Valco Baby
Hi Anon627, you need to drop the seat to recline when mother facing using the buttons on the side of the chassis. There are 2 big black buttons and 2 smaller grey buttons, please call our customer service team on 03 9581 8000 and they will talk you through it. If you do this incorrectly and use force you can break your pram, please call our team :)

Catherine F.asked
I’m buying the snap ultra pram tomorrow and I was wondering what specific bassinet, capsules ect will fit the pram. And what is best suited for a new born baby?
2 answers
You can use it without a bassinet for a newborn. Just buy a pillowtop to make it more comfy. I have a car seat and the pram, separated. Not sure if yiu can fit a capsule on it.
Valiant B.Valco Baby
Hi Catherine, thanks for getting in touch :) The Snap Ultra is compatible with the Q Bassinet, Marjorie is correct you don't have to have a bassinet if you choose not to because the seat itself is suitable for a newborn but you do have the option of one should you choose. In terms of capsules, the pram has maxi cosi and britax adaptors available. It also has a multi-adaptor that is suitable for most brands, just need to call the team here or ask in-store to check. If you have any further questions, please call our customer service team on 03 9581 8000
