how do you fold it for the car?

There's a lever that you pull, which disengages the lock. This allows the unit to be folded down to fit into the car.

Yes you hold a button on the handle and lift a latch on the left side and it folds down. Really easy.

Is there a way to lock the front wheel in place so it doesn't keep getting stuck/swiveling around- it's quite jarring for my toddler?

We no longer have our vee bee (upgraded to a larger pram), but my recollection is that there's a small clip on the back of each of the front struts (just above the wheels), which allow the wheels to be locked or unlocked. The wheels can be locked to force them to remain straight or unlocked so they swivel as required.

Usually, there s a steel flipon the side and the red button at the top to press and release at the same which make it quickly fold by itself. When you mount the wheels, make sure it s securely clipped

Hi was wondering why the top of the pram opens up and you can move it to the front on the pram is there anything else it can do and what is the purpose of the top moving to the front can the handles move as well

3 answers
Wayne
Wayne

As the pram is a 3-wheeler, the handles cannot be moved to the front of the pram (it would not be stable).

I'm guessing that the top of the pram moving allows you to keep the sun off the child's head.

Ric
Ric

The model I had, a three wheeler, wasn't designed to be able to have forwards and backwards facing options (with regards to the handle) which was a shame. The cover allows you to effectively block bright sunlight when you're facing towards the sun so that there's as little discomfort and glare for your child. Hope this helps out, Shell.

Quin
Quin

Yes what Wayne and Ric said. It opens out to block sun but should remain attached to the handle. The handles dont move.

Is this pram suitable for newborns?

The pram lays flat so can be suitable for newborns - I also had my newborn in it. I bought a vee bee footmuff too so that my baby was snug and more protected.

We used it for newborns. Seems to lie back enough.

Hi! My brother handed me down his daughter's Veebee Navigator for our first born. And i love it. However, they have lost the removable bumper bar and tray through the years. Can i purchase it separately? I feel it is important as it is a safety measure for my baby aside from the buckles. We are based in the Philippines. Thanks!

Hi, I'm hoping to find replacement wheels for my Vee Bee Navigator (3 wheel model) as the rubber has worn down to having hardly any tread. I can't seem to find any information on pricing or availability. Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello! I have had the Vee Bee Navigator stroller for about 2 months now and when then front wheel is on swivel I find that (especially on uneven ground) the wheel moves itself on a horizontal position and I am required to manually move it straight again to continue walking, otherwise the pram tips forward. Is this normal or a fault?

Regards,
Jenny

Hello! I'm using a Vee Bee Navigator at the moment and do not have the instructions to it. I found the buckle difficult but tried to buckle it in anyways, and now it is stuck. The rectangular button is not helping me pull it out, does this mean it is now broken and I need to change the buckle or is there another way? Thank you!

You should be able to press the button of the centre buckle (the circular/rectangular one that you clipped the other straps into). If the button wont depress and release the other straps, than perhaps contact the store where you purchased the pram from and see if they can assist.

Hello, thank you very much for answering! I have tried to figure it out again and it happens that the trick was to press the buckle down as you push the rectangular button. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi there, I'm gojng overseas mid year and need a lightweight pram/stroller for my 3.5yo, she us tall but light, and I'm now confused whether this one might be not for our purpose?
She walks everywhere, we got rid of her prams/strollers long ago as she didn't want to be in them, we always walk everywhere. But now going to Vatican City, it might be just too much for 3.5yo, hence looking for something that's light but still comfy for the child. Would appreciate any comments/recommendations.

I am not sure if it will suit a 3.5 year old. it is quite a small pram. My kid is 2 now and still fits but I am not sure for how long. it certainly is light and has good compartment space. can you try her in it in a shop?

Vee Bee
Valco B.Vee Bee

Hi,

The Navigator is probably the best recommendation we would have also - though the Valco Baby "Snap LX" or "Snap 4 LX" is also a great choice for travelling. They are VERY light, have a huge seat and fold down to almost nothing.

What age/weight could you use this stroller up to?

1 answer
Tasch
Tasch

Maximum weight is supposed to be 20 kilos. In regards to the age, I guess it depends on the weight and height of the child. I have a very tall 16 month old (she's in the 99 percentile) and she still has heaps of room and with plenty of life left in the pram (we've had it and used since our baby was a newborn).

Am considering buying one of these prams, is it good to jog with?

2 answers

Probably not, it is hard to steer with one hand. The wheels are ok on smooth surface, eg shopping centre, not as good on surfaces such as concrete or grass. For jogging, it is not an ideal pram. :)

I actually used it to jog along a 5 km footpath along the beach and finds it ok. If it's just straight path I guess it's not hard to push the pram with one hand travelling straight most of the time.

Hi there I'm getting a lot of different vibes for this pram. People either love or hate it. But one tgibg I've noticed is tgat many people are saying that their child was uncomfortable or too big. Some were saying their kids loved it until they were like 3! So I'm confused. Is it really that small or are your babies just big bubbas??

2 answers
Sweet_mama

The seat space of Vee Bee is definitely smaller compared to other brand strollers/prams. I am not sure about using Vee Bee till baby is 3 years old. because as soon as kids are walking properly, they love to pop on and off by themselves, so you better off getting a cheap umbrella stroller with a lower seat position. Hope it helps.

straw610
straw610

Hi, my son is only 8 mths old at the moment and he still sleeps there comfortably.
Looking at the space I'm guessing he'll probably use it till 3. We're of asian descent so we're considerably small compared to some aussies (not meaning to be racist here so please do not take offend).
Hope that helps.
