It is normally pretty easy to fill, you need to put the solution amount stated, and water in the plastic bottle that sits on top of the machine, there is a plastic lever under the orange section, put you fingers underneath pull the lever forward pull it toward you, and the bottle should come out easily, then it all just goes back on, in reverse, you just need to make sure the liquid bottle is snapped back on properly, you then just press the lever at the back of the handle, which then sprays the water and solution on the floor then, sucks it back up into the dirty water chamber at the bottom of the machine, hope you van understand all of my instructions, good luck with the machine, once you start using it, it does get easier and does remove a lot of dirt.

An excellent question and it does show a design fault. What i do is use a satay stick to clean the majority, then take it outside and wash through with a hose. This works very effectively. It was a shame they didn't make it so it opened up - but that is the price for budget machines I guess.

Thank you for your reply, it is such a hassle to keep mucking about with it everytime you use the machine, and still it just omits a dribble not a spray grrrr

What i do is i take the machine outside turn the machine on its side get the hose and face the hose so that you are hosing up into that skinny section then just hose out all of the gunk, it works or me if you do this every time you use it you wont have extra dirt build up.

No, not as far as i know with the this Model, i think there is a Vax ultra that has some extra attachments but i not know that much about that particular washer,, this model is just a basic, quick and easy machine.

I use: 8 part vinegar. 5 part Omo front load concentrate liquid, 1 part liquid fabric softener. Add to container filled with very warm water OR Better still spray direct from a pressure sprayer (more even coverage) then immediately run your cleaner over the wetted area.
