This TV is the best deal ever. Excellent picture, lots of ports, we hooked up our own surround sound speakers system so it’s like a cinema at home. I love the big screen, I can see it from the kitchen so it’s good when I making dinner, I don’t miss my shows. We can have Netflix, Foxtel, tbox and Apple TV all connected and swap source to change, so easy!

Hubby came into the house one day carrying a new tv - this Viano. It was on special at the local Big W, so it was an un-researched purchase. The tv works well, no problems getting it out of the box, plugging it in or tuning it. Works every time.

As good as you would expect for the price you pay. The picture is clear but I wouldn't say it was sharp. The sound was fine for an average size room. It was simple to set up except the ports for. AV are not the standard red, yellow and white, so there was a bit of trial and error trying to work out which plug fits where, however it is achievable.

Picture quality is excellent, nice and clear. Sound is loud and clear enough. It has 4 hdmi ports as well as 2 USB ports. Also allows you to plug in a hard-drive and record free to air TV. Would recommend this TV to anyone, well worth the price! Bought from big w

Replaced TV in caravan to a larger unit, bought new unit with DVD player through Big W 07/17,worked fine for a couple of months and noticed that if the aerial lead was touch screen would pixilate, in thinking that it might be lead replaced all cabling with coax, problem still existed but if I moved the outer connection of the TV it would work ( it would appear that there is a bad/dry solder joint on circuit board).Took TV to BigW (Mildura) and was told not there problem talk to Viano Rang Viano support centre what a waste of time said it would take 2weeks to look at it and there would cost a cost of $80.00
Would never buy another Viano TV .

Very pleased with picture and all functions of the units we own . All have high usage and found them reliable colour is good and consistent .easy to operate. My six year old child finds it easy to operate ease to insert DVD and play .find the sound to good no distortion.

I ordered this tv to have as something to watch the foot ball on on a Friday night. It's not to big not to small we have it up on a bracket and does the job perfectly. Picture quality is good price was great I did add my own sound bar to increase volume and sound quality but for a spare tv it was no big deal.

18 months old got a black spot on screen took picture emailed to Viano next day had another black spot rang Viano told out of warranty would look at it at my expense . I have 4 Viano,s tvs in my house it looks like I will have to start saving again when they all start stuffing up. Ex Viano customer

we bought this TV at a good price. Everybody in the family uses this television. The kids play video games, we use it for watching DVDs, Netflix, pay-TV and just for normal television. It is USB compatible and has all the ports we need. The picture quality is great and the sound is fine as well.

We dont have enough money to buy big tv however we bough this tv suit for our budget the speaker is very smooth and high quality. I love the HDM1 as its very unique I can watch movies through HDM1. This Tv is so amazing I can't find anything like this one

Don't buy, worst TV ever. only had less than and 2mths an not working. Had a TV repair man tell me to buy a new 1, also said he had been run off his feet with this TV. rang them heaps of times and all I get is a rude man that I can't understand. Cheap crap that not that cheap.

It's on standby and want come on we moved it has been put away the standby would my come off hope you can help as only TV we have now thank you need it on asap how can we fix it hope someone can get back to asap thank you

came some please help get key lock on tv, I plug new dvd player into mums tv and got it all working
then mum came into room said remote not working then when I press back of tv came up key lock
how do I unlock key lock on tv can anyone help thanks

Hi guys. Just letting you know my tv broke after a couple of months. Just found the receipt. So luckily it still falls under warranty. It constantly emitts strange sounds. I tried to take it back to Bigw to be told they only repair Vianos. Which is actually not right as I am entitled to a refund. So if you have bought this be aware that I am now forced to go thru a third party to get a refund.

My 1st Full LED LCD 48" TV it is on the wall it was not heavy and with easy to follow instructions, stylish TV and good value for the price.

Picture quality is very good. Has a nice clear detail even with older tv shows and movies.
Sound is good too. Easy to here.
It has sufficient ports an extra would be good but not essential
The unit is also very user friendly. A great menu function with simple instructions.

The Viano led tv we bought lasted just outside of our warranty period. Called the hotline number and got abused and spoken down to! How unprofessional! Didn't bother to state that under Australian consumer law, even if outside of warranty, the product must still last for a reasonable time period. Funny how they don't bother to tell you your rights unless YOU bring it up and are already aware of them! What a sham!

We never used or tried the apps so can't comment on them
I dont see why i need to come up with a story on how good something is when i can not comment on it as we did not use the smart apps .sounds like viano can not deal with peoples opinions about their cheap crap

Bad sound, flimsy conections, now a green line to top it off on left hand side of screen . Only 8 months old . Wish I could of taken back but lost my receipt.. Now im stuck with it, until I can afford obviously a different brand of TV . Do not buy, youll regret it .

This Tv is completely crap!! l have had this to for just over a year and it has already crap itself the picture does not work all you can hear is it's very lousy sound, when you first turn it on on you see the picture for a few seaconds then it blanks out l know it's a cheap TVs but for $888.00 it should work for at least a couple of years.

Unit went ok for 1year and 20 days now will not come off standby . Big W says 1 year warranty "see Viano", Viano says 1 year warranty and now won't answer the phone . $269 for 1 years use on xbox only is a bit expensive. Not happy.

My in laws purchased a new tv for my daughter for Christmas. After one day of use she went to turn it on to watch a DVD the next day and the message "No Disk" appeared. After using different DVDs it still won't work. To make matters worse the tv is discontinued! Great!! Will NEVER purchase a Viano ever! What a joke!! They bought it from Big W and I've been told that the store is referring it to the Manufacturer. Who could be bothered. If the tv is crap I'm sure they have cheap and crappy service to match!

Just outside of my 2 year warranty my tv died. Suddenly no screen or sound. Could not be repaired as tv is already discontinued and parts are no longer available. Service people told me it would cost more than a new tv was worth even if they were able to fix it. Great thing to happen just before Christmas not. No sympathy, help or support from customer support people.

Great price. Purchased 3 years ago. No problems. Works perfectly. Used in shared house so gets a lot of use. Ample ports. Good picture. Good sound.
Would definite consider another Viano. I purchased online. Not from Big W. Has even a built in PVR..personal video recorder. Am considering a 65" version now

This is a cheap TV. I did not expect too much from it as it was not going to be watched much at our holiday home. The picture was fair as was the sound. It clearly was a waste of money as it just stopped working in mid viewing. Not worth repairing because of the cost. I do expect cheap products to work at least for a few years. No more Vianos for me.
