Did the sums.....

Every visit to my local mower shop is $100 +. Most often they tell me the petrol 'is off'. (I don't mow regularly as I travel a bit)
Therefor - the new elec. Victa has paid for itself already! And my wife uses it! (Regularly!) like the idea of upgrading the trimmer to elec., use the same battery. Will check weight first.

4 years, still running great!

published

Bought this one from Bunnings after researching online and reading online reviews. It works great, starts almost instantly even if not in use for months. Its quite powerful, and easy to use and maintain.

I do sometime wish to have purchased the bigger model with bigger blade and catcher...helps to finish the job faster with less breaks in-between. Overall happy with the purchase.

It gets the job done

Battery powered firstly, it's really light and only takes 30 ish minutes to charge so it's not a hassle to start up and use at all if your used to 2-stroke engines. The wheels have a lot of grip on them so if you need to step outside the grass for mowing rougher patches it can handle that. It's well built and can take a beating, but it's really expensive.

powerful machine

published

the mower is powerful, it is easy to push even for female. it is not cheap as it is more than 300dollars, but i think it is worth the money, the grass were cut nicely, shorter time, it is not smelly, a bit noisy as the others. i do recommend.

great machine

published

Cutting result is good, very powerful.
the good thing is this machine come with 2 batteries and quick charger. so you can use one battery as while recharge other one .
the mower feel little bit heavy.but still ok.
Machine can adjust the speed automatically according to the load.
so the total tuning time is quite good.
No maintain needed.

Could be a perfect mower.

All Cordless Mowers come with a wrong blade. The manufacturers do that on purpose. If a mower does not work too hard it will last longer, so there will be less warranty claims. The motors of these mowers are very powerful. I made an offset blade with swing back blades attached. I can mow as low as I want. The main drawback with these mowers are the batteries. Except for Greenworks all have not enough capacity.

Excellent

Just purchased this mower today. Been looking for a reasonably well priced battery mower for quite some time now. I happened to spot this in Bunnings last week. I Just missed out buying an Ego when Masters went bung. So far very happy with performance. I only have a very small lawn so battery run time is not an issue. This is the 18” version which Bunnings are selling for $499.00, 1 x 2.0a battery. The battery has 4 blue lights to show charge, I used just 1 blue light after 15 mins mowing. Very pleased with how quiet it is and quite easy to push. I used the mulching function which worked fine. It was very quick and easy to assemble, I fully charged the battery 1st, which only took 10 mins and I was away. Now to see how long it lasts.

So Glad we took the plunge!!!

This is the V8 of lawnmowers. Super easy to use - great battery time. We have an average sized lawn and I only needed to change to the second battery right at the very end and I must say the lawn so very thick but the Victa powered through (something I did not expect). I particularly love the mulching feature - it is certainly a much better mulcher than my previous 4 stroke. So glad I took the advise of the mower specialist at my local Bunnings.

How do you remove the batter from the mower; and how do you remove the battery from the Charger?

Push the white plastic flap down. The first time you do it it snaps and you think that you have broken it but you haven’t. Should be easy to slide out of mower then. It should just slide out naturally from the charger. Cheers

What great timing in needing a new lawnmower. After much research decided on a 82v Power cut Battery mower. So, there is none available anywhere. They are all sitting in isolation with possible battery problems. No one seems to know how long for. I believe this has been going on for weeks now. Not really good enough. must be losing some sales. Now I am looking at other brands. slow action seems to be apathy.
