Hi
There is no Volvo dealer or service centre near by as I don't live in a big city.
Where do you service your Volvo? Do you use likes of UltraTunes, Bridgestone Select, K Mart Auto etc.?
Thanks in advance.

Hello - I just noticed this - i have the S60 - I believe the XC90 was car of the year, Volvo has progressed over the years and is definitely one of the safest vehicles on the road. Mine is 7 years old and up to now its been reliable. I haven't serviced the car at a VOLVO dealer as I can't' afford it. I service it at a reputable service centre which is so much cheaper as long as they have the correct diagnostic machines for Euro cars. Personally, you will not regret buying the XC90 - its safe, reliable and like all new cars, parts are expensive. Problem with mine is its fast (lol). Fuel consumption could be a bit better - it tends to go thru a bit of fuel but overall - its luxurious and definitely a great buy.
I've owned five Volvo's over the last 25 years. First was a second-hand 244 DL wagon, the rest have all been brand new vehicles and include a 2001 S40 T4, 2009 XC70 T6, 2012 S60 T5 and our current is the 2015 XC60 T6. The brand is good, the cars are great, servicing can be a little on the higher side but overall comfort and performance, I can't fault these cars. I suggest doing extensive research on the after sales service of where you intend to buy the vehicle from. Almost every issue we have experienced with our last three vehicles have been caused by the service departments either not knowing what they were doing or simply not taking any care with their work. The three (XC70, S60, XC60) purchases in Sydney have all but ruined my love of Volvo's. I've had a manager lie to my face about a service that was never carried out, charged for tyres that weren't fitted to the car to then have the wrong tyres fitted and an attempt to charge for them a second time. One dealer actually broke the ignition module on the XC70 during the service and then tried to say it was like that when the car was dropped off, another dealer "sighted" impact damage on the inside of the bumper on the XC60 and stated that was why the parking sensors had stopped working. I made them take the bumper off and show me the "sighted" damage. It turned out the dealer had not fitted the sensors correctly at time of purchase and had busted the clips inside the bumper and some bright spark decided to just glue them in place instead. The glue stopped the sensors from working, so again, just more terrible service. Trivett, Suttons and SVM are all terrible and their staff will lie to get out of warranty work. Would I buy another Volvo, yes. Would I buy from Trivett, Suttons or SVM, no.
