Started off great, but doesn't last.
We bought out Kobold from Godfreys and initially loved it, but within three months we started to have problems with navigation and saying the brush was stuck. We have a dog and the hoover works very hard. It runs at least three times a day and is full requiring emptying after each run. The cost of the machine we felt should mean it was up to the challenge. We took it back as we relied on it so heavily. It was taken back and fixed but within two months we had the same problem, and this has continued every two or three months and we have had i...Read more
t fixed about 10 times. Godfreys were very embarrassed and said that they thought the machine should be replaced, but Vorwerk rang and told my husband that they would not replace, as the problem has occurred as we do not clean the machine properly. We asked why they didn't say this after the first time it broke? Why tell us now after the 10th time it is our fault? Please don't think that the Vorwerk name is good because of Thermomix, customer support is second to none with my Thermy but this shower at Kobald clearly don't have the same faith it their product. It is a lot of money to pay for something that cannot even last its two year warranty period. Only grateful I bought it through Godfreys who have integrity.Similar opinion? Broken after 4 Months, support not answering
The vr200 worked quite well in the beginning, however at some point it started moving straight into the wall opposite to the charging station and give an error message. I contacted support, but my mails eigther get not answered, or i get redirected to somebody else. In retrospect i would not buy it again but go with a different company

So helpful and works a charm!
It’s easy, works reliably and gets around the house pretty easy. Recharged itself easily, and seems to get around House easy. I tell loads of people to but them. We ended up buying the upright vacuum also. You must clean and empty lots but that bit is easy. Definitely recommend.

Certainly not Thermomix quality
Quite disappointed in this product. Have had for a few months now and been back the Godfreys for repairs twice, and yet they cannot find an issue with it, even after producing photos of the problem. Asked for new replacement or refund and refuse to do this also. Initially it was working well, fell backwards down the stairs at one point (lucky I did not trust it and caught it), was stopping under the lounge and tight areas (saying something like "clear my path"), when in fact there was no obstruction and was never an issue when it worked. The LCD display had nothing but horizontal lines across prior to its second return for repairs and yet they tell me it is ok?

I call him my boyfriend
Such a handy machine that picks up an incredible amount of dirt and dog hair, does have trouble docking at times and about to go in for a repair due to persistent error message. Despite the issues I would buy again, it's just so convenient to have especially with five dogs.

Over priced and not great
Its pretty dumb, will clean same area for whole of battery time. Often can't find its way home to docking station, running times vary alot. Has been fixed three times in 11 months and needs another replacement part. Long waits on filters and new rollers. Overall disappointed on performance at cleaning and running time.

Exceeds my expectations
This vacuum cleaner is the best robot ever honestly the design of the vacuum cleaner allows it to get right into the corners unlike the round robots. It covers every single part of your room ensuring nothing is left behind. The only downside I found was that it cannot replace a vacum for the stairs however it can replace your big vacuum for everyday useage. What I love about this vacuum is that it can clean my whole house and it can still have battery left after it
Vorwerk have designed and built one amazing vacuum cleaner.

Disappointing
Suction was great. But that is where it stopped for me. The machine constantly got stuck on, beside and under furniture. If you have to move the machine then it loses it GPS and won't dock. It also seems to continually do the same patch and goes back to the lounge each time, and gets stuck. It hasn't even been down the other end of our house, even when I plugged it in to a different power point. Super disappointed!
I am yet to take it in to the retailer but I suspect I will have problems.

Wish I'd brought this sooner
Good suction, works in a system so it doesn't miss bits. Sensors must be good because it's not clumsy or running into things.Took awhile to do the first clean but very surprised by the amount of stuff it collects. Set the schedule and it starts daily at 10am - it takes 1 and a half charges to clean my home- redocks itself on its own and continues where it left off. Runs for approx 60 mins between charges. Works well in corners and can climb over obstacles easily (mats, metal on bar stools). Easy to empty dust bin have only had for a week but haven't pulled out the big Dyson. Very happy with purchase and would highly recommend. Only issue I have had is uploading the new software to use the app - tried but haven't been successful.

Great when it works!
I purchased my first robot last October. Worked perfectly up until a couple of months ago. It started stopping mid clean, not docking and displaying an error code. I took the machine back. It was sent away for repair twice and apparently fixed but it was still not docking. Got a replacement product which was also not docking. The company was unable to offer product support as to why this was happening so I got my money refunded. This machine did a great cleaning job but unfortunately defeated the purpose of having a robot vacuum when I constantly had to restart it cause it got stuck on seemingly nothing or wouldn't go back to charge on its own.

BEST MACHINE EVER!
Buying this machine was the best decision i ever made! I Have never had to vacuum my house after buying this. It goes back to its own charging base and it doesnt hit any walls. Ive used other robots before, but this one is the best by far! Recommend it to anyone who doesnt like dragging big vacuums around the house.

I haven’t vacuumed my home since I bought this machine. Absolutely love it!!
Very happy with this machine. I am not a fan of robot vacuums or I don’t understand the concept of it at all but I bought this machine because I trust this brand as I have used their other awesome products in the past. This can never fail you and take my word for it.
This is definitely worth the money and you will no longer spend you time to vaccum the house.
This machine is very easy to operate and now it’s convenient to have the app in your phone so you can operate it form any where.

My best friend basically
I can't recommend this enough.. They are expensive but very worth their money. I hardly pull out my proper vacuum due to this little guy. My carpet is plush and leaves a mark where its been stepped on or vacuumed and once it has done a bedroom there are perfect symmetrical lines like a garden that's been mowed lol:D. Also it picks up everything, great suction. It is also very quiet.

a perfect robot vacuum
What a machine to clean the house with no hassle, a ll I need to do is schedule the machine and it does the rest. my hard floor was never so clean and shiny because when I used my dyson to clean the hardfloor it used to get dusty in 2 days with my two pets but this robot just cleans it effortlessly and don't even have to worry to charge it. this is what I say a real ROBOT VACUUM.

love love love it
I have wanted a robotic vacuum for ever. After consulting choice mag I decided the top ones cost more than I could part with. I then accidentally kinda wondered into Godfreys and there it was I made the sales man work hard for his sale.I just wondered how I was going to explain my purchase to the mere male of the house. No explanation needed. Mere male made some comment that night about all the dry grass, crumbs and dirt on the floor, hello we both work when did it become solely my responsibility you saw it you fix, although late in the evening...Read more
I pulled it out of the cupboard where hidden till I got the gumption to expose my purchase, charged 'him' up and watched with mouth agape so totally in love with my new 'him'. I still haven't programmed to do cleaning whilst I'm at work because I just love sitting with a glass of wine and batting my eyelids at the beauty of my new 'him'. We have a 4 bedroom house with huge open kitchen, lounge, dinning and entry all with floating floors so 'him' whisks around with no problems at all. I love watching as it approaches the dirt then dirt gone when 'him' passes, I left a dirty monster cockroach still kicking on the floor and after 'him' passed cocky was no more. Vorwerk comes with a length of magnetic strip to keep 'him' out of places that you don't want 'him' to go I just need to purchase more of that because although 'him' is great at getting unstuck it just wastes a bit of time and effort along glass sliding door tracks which we have long ones and many. I love the methodical way it manoeuvres around obstacles, chairs and gets right into the corners of things. I no longer consider this money over spent defiantly worth every cent. We have a large floor area and have found that I really need to keep 'him's docking station to the middle of the house otherwise it doesn't make it back if battery running low whilst up the other end of house. Treat your self you'll love your own Vorwerk.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Best thing Ever invented until it broke 5 times
Omg this vacuum had been a lifesaver, it vacuums our house every day, it's like my own personal house maid. I can vacuum now while doing other things. I was so sceptical at 1st to spend the money on it, my husband has to convince me for a week, I budged. BUT OMG I'm so IN LOVE. It cleans so well, every nook and cranny. I can vaccum while I'm out shopping. So time efficient. Thanks VORVERX...... UNTIL those error signals. They kept happening, “clean my brush”, “clear my path” well we sent the vacuum back for repair 4 times in 6 mths, even got ...Read more
a replacement which did the same thing, I got told to stop using it on carpet and prob not to use it frequently, eventually I cracked it and asked for my money back, we eventually came to a resolution and we got a new vacuum instead, back to the traditional hand held plug in, no more robots for me.Similar opinion? Great pieces of equipment
Was expecting a complicated setup but was quick and works almost out of the box. Still working out how this will go but upto now quite happy with the investment. Parts look simple and not hard to maintain. Godfrey's sales team knew their products and were happy to demonstrate its abilities.

Cannot live without it!
This vacuum is amazing! It has saved me so much time. i set it whilst at work then come home and the floors are ready to mop straight away. We even set it at night time sometimes and we sleep through it as do our dogs. Our house is 300sqm and a mixture of timber laminate, tiles and carpet and does all three surfaces with ease.
Well worth the money!! We absolutely love it!

This is (was) an excellent machine
We bought one of these from Godfreys a couple of months ago and it did an excellent job, even being low enough to go under our bed and lounge suite. The cleaner performed very well and did all that was expected of it. Unfortunately it refused to work about two weeks ago and had to be returned to the store for service. Apparently it developed a fault that necessitated a part being air-freighted from Germany to fix it. Hopefully we will have it back shortly to carry on its excellent work.. Well worth buying even though we had trouble with ours which can happen to any complicated piece of electronic gear.

Hi Charlotte,
We are sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing with your machine.
Once they re-open the machine will need to be taken into your nearest Godfreys store to be booked in and inspected further for repairs.

Is there anyway of stopping it scratching the wooden floor? A bit disappointed as new floors have only been down 18 months and they're all scratched.
