with the waeco 40,was only freezing, digital 68*replaced the thermistor [$1.75at jayco ]you have to solder your own wires. It takes about 20mins total. It went back into freeze mode, but overnight fixed itself! but the 12 volt, direct coupled to battery, with charger as well, does not work.what now?

You may want to check the fuse of your 12V cable. I think it is in the cigarette lighter head of the cable. Or you can use your multi meter to beep the cable.

There is a threshold setting on the cf40.
Try as medium, low you may have trouble starting the car for single battery. I suspect it is the battery voltage sensing that decide to turn the fridge off.

Also check the voltage at the plug may be voltage drop, also mine was doing the same thing it was the fuse at the back not making good contacts.
Cheers John

Hello! Hopefully my question isn't terribly stupid...how do you adjust the temperature on the WAECO CF-50 model with the non-digital temperature display? It's currently on freezing and I don't know how to get it out of the freezing mode/ increase the temperature. I attached a link to a photo to show what my control display looks like: https://forum.ih8mud.com/attachments/image-jpeg.1283253/
Thanks!
