My CF40 Waeco is set to 0 deg C and the temp displayed after running is also 0 deg. However the measured temp inside (by digital thermometer) is -9 deg C. Is it possible to calibrate the display setting to match the measured temp?

-1 and won’t allow me to reset it to 5 degrees. What should I do please?
Hi chezza, have you tried turning off and on again and then resetting your temp again?
with the waeco 40,was only freezing, digital 68*replaced the thermistor [$1.75at jayco ]you have to solder your own wires. It takes about 20mins total. It went back into freeze mode, but overnight fixed itself! but the 12 volt, direct coupled to battery, with charger as well, does not work.what now?
ii got a cf40 and it will not work on 12v at all i and checked everything and traced the on the board and it still got no life but it works perfect on 240v. Any ideas?
You may want to check the fuse of your 12V cable. I think it is in the cigarette lighter head of the cable. Or you can use your multi meter to beep the cable.
As I said to you I have checked everythimg
Hi Ihad exactly the same problem. talked to danny newman at waeco, .he solved it straight away. you need a replacement, unit the one that plugs in to the compressor, itself.good luck rgds, chris.
When my cf40 is on 12 to 24 volt when Car is running it works when the car is off it stops and it's on a second battery. Any ideas?
There is a threshold setting on the cf40.
Try as medium, low you may have trouble starting the car for single battery. I suspect it is the battery voltage sensing that decide to turn the fridge off.
Also check the voltage at the plug may be voltage drop, also mine was doing the same thing it was the fuse at the back not making good contacts.
Cheers John
Hello! Hopefully my question isn't terribly stupid...how do you adjust the temperature on the WAECO CF-50 model with the non-digital temperature display? It's currently on freezing and I don't know how to get it out of the freezing mode/ increase the temperature. I attached a link to a photo to show what my control display looks like: https://forum.ih8mud.com/attachments/image-jpeg.1283253/
Thanks!
Each time you press the temp button the line of green lights should increase by 1 (1 light cool, 7 is freeze. Usuallly 2 or 3 lights is sufficient to cool without freezing, it depends on the outside t...
Read moreemperature. If the buttons dont repsond, the control pad is probably faulty. If you have it on cool, but it still freezes, the thermostat (temperature probe) is faulty. When the fridge reaches the desired temp, the power light should change from green to orange. If it stays green, this means the thermostat isnt working and the compressor (motor) is running non stop, causing it to freeze.Get an answer from our members
