Most over rated BBQ
We purchased our Weber based on reviews from other people for our caravan. I would say DON'T it is the most over rated BBQ ever.
We also own any other brand BBQ for home that does a much better job.
The trivet tray does not do what it claims even after following directions as instructed by Weber.
Purchased in March 2021 for $329.00.

The best BBQ
Weber Q range is the best by far on the market. We have had our baby Q for nearly 10 years, has never failed us. Upgrading to family Q now.

Perfect for a small family
We are a small family (mum, dad & toddler) so we don’t need a big BBQ. This one is perfect! It cooks steaks absolutely perfectly, salmon is also a favourite when cooked on our baby Weber Q and my toddlers favourite is chicken skewers (he won’t eat them any other way unless they’re cooked on the BBQ). The BBQ is easy to clean, it takes approx 2 mins to give it a nice wipe down. It comes with a fat catching tray so it makes cleaning much easier. It’s also small enough to store away, we don’t leave ours outside although occasionally it is left out...Read more
side and it has no effect on the BBQ. It truly is an amazing BBQ for cooking delicious foods at home. We also have the additional pizza tray - and all I can say is oh my god. It’s a wood fired pizza without a wood fire!Purchased in March 2021 at Barbeques Galore for $349.00.

Get little unit
I have had my Weber Baby Q for about 5 years now and I love it.
This unit is the perfect size and does way more than you expect from something this size. It is big enough to cool a pork roast, brisket or burgers for 10 people but still small enough to take camping for a weekend. I also like that it doesn’t take up much space on our deck leaving more room for us to entertain and enjoy the space.
Because it is nice and small I find it very easy to keep clean. This is also largely due to the quality of the product as our unit now sits outside...Read more
, uncovered, in direct exposure to sun wind and rain, about 50m from the ocean. In these conditions I was expecting the elements to take a major toll on the unit, but, after 3 years in the same spot, it is still standing strong. The unit holds heat beautifully and gives a pretty even distribution across the grill with only a few hot spots. Temperature control is quite good however it does run on the hotter side so “low and slow” can be more challenging. One downside is that there is no zone control with this size and that can be a pest however it isn’t very often that I’m hoping to cool things at different temperatures on my barbecue and I haven’t felt the loss of not having staging space as you’d find on big complicated units.Purchased in August 2021 at Barbeques Galore.

Best Ever After Sales Service
While this is in relation to my 3 year old weber baby q, the review is on the after sales service. To put it simply absolutely first class! Had a problem with a broken burner bracket so rang weber for assistance, the lady I spoke to was extremely knowledgeable with the product, and when I gave her the serial number she informed me it was under warranty (a very generous 5 years) and that she would dispatch a replacement for me. Two days later it arrived - could not be happier with the product or service.

Customer service is outstanding
This Baby Q Weber bbq is our go to when we have visitors. It cooks the best lamb chops I have ever eaten and gas seems to last forever. We haven't managed to bake a successful pizza yet because of the size and shape of the hot plate. I'm not sure the temperature is sufficient because it drops quickly if you open the lid for a quick look at your masterpiece.
Everything is easy to remove for cleaning. A quick scrub in hot water with a metal brush and it's good as new ready for next time.
Rain should be avoided because of the ignition switch which...Read more

Great service
I have had my Weber Baby Q for aprox 8 years. A hole formed in the burner tube. I contacted Weber through their website on Sunday 25th November 2018 for them to contact me in regards to obtaining a new one. By 8.30 am on Monday 26th November, i had received an email from them saying that they would replace under warranty. I then received a further email from them same day giving me a tracking number.
At aprox 2.00pm Tuesday 27th November my new burner tube arrived from Adelaide. As I am in Brisbane, They must have over-nighted it. Well done Weber on your service.

Worth the money
We bought a six burner grill from bunnings which was terrible burning the food and flame was not evenly spreaded. Then we bought Webber, and we loved it. It's been almost three years now and it's giving us the best food every year time we use it. It is expensive but you won't regret it.

Excellent for vegetarians
I am very happy with the BBQ and use it only on Low to bake veggies and do Casseroles and fish. Never meat. but it works a treat for me. I really was not sure if it would work for me. I followed the instructions and burnt the first lot. I then used my head and did it my way. Perfectly happy. I also purchased the stand and I am happy I did.

Love this bbq
Love this bbq. Is it for camping and for at home. Cooks steak so well and great for a pork roast. The optional cover and frypan are great additions to the purchase. The Webber baby q uses very little has in comparison to other portable barbecues. I highly recommend it.

Love our Baby Q
This style of BBQ is perfect for us because you can cook almost anything and it is very portable. We use it weekly to cook steaks and sometimes things like a roast or a pizza. The biggest bonus though is we can take it with us where ever we go. We throw it in the back of the car for when we go away with our camper can or for a picnic. Highly recommended.

I've had my Baby Q for almost 5 years. I love using it. The other day I took it on holidays in the trailer & the handle vibrated loose & was lost. I contacted Weber to purchase a replacement & they said it was covered by warranty and are sending a replacement. What great service!

Great BBQ for a couple
I used this BBQ when I was flatting and now have it in my home with my husband. It's the perfect size for a couple or a small family. It's very easy to turn on and off... even my mum can use it when she comes over! Highly reccomend Webber to anyone!

Great, easily gets grimy
Have to buy a small gas bottle, assembly was easy.
Gets grimy easily due to a small size and the lid especially.
Had many great meals on it, mostly stakes.
Had a flat plate, but never really found it useful.
Compact size, which is great, but if not cleaned Expect a lot of smoke.

- We recommend a thorough cleaning every 4-6 cooks, depending on what you're cooking. However, you can quickly clean each time by using our Cookbox Scraper and Weber Q Cleaner -find them on our website: www.weberbbq.com.au - Our Half-Hotplates are great for cooking things like eggs, or veges that often fall through the grills - Our Q barbecues use convection to heat and cook your food. Our cast-iron grills vapourise all the fats and juices from your food, creating a flavour-packed smoke - this is what you can see coming from the side vents on your Q. The best of the best BBQ especially when travelling
Purchased this a few years ago from BBQ Galore so we could take it with us when we travel. It is a great little BBQ and compact, hardly uses any gas, cooks great ! I also use it as an oven and have cooked scones, cakes, pizza, roasts as well as steaks and sausages. Plate is covered in Porcelain so doesn't rust, easy to clean. I had the original plate replaced with one that comes in two parts so easier to manage and clean.

My ignition button has stopped working after 2 years? Is this normal

Jason S.asked
Hello, i recently bought an older Q100 Baby q. And without checking the original grill plate i bought a half hot plate not realising that the grill plate is a "whole" plate not two halves. Question is can i use the hot plate by placing it on top of the grill plate or do i need to buy new half/half grill to make a grill/hot plate combo. Apologues for the confusing wording
1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Jason, although they weren't specifically designed to be used that way, you can use the half hotplate on top of the one-piece grill if you don't want to replace the current grill with the two-piece grill that is available on modern Q models. You just need to factor in a bit more pre-heating time, and watch the barbecue as it will take a bit longer for the hotplate to heat up being further away from the heat source.
Susanasked
Hi Weber,
Our bbq plate ( Weber baby q complete grill plate) has broken. It has not been dropped. The only new thing we have done is to put a pizza stone in there. Could this have made it too hot to snap it?
Thanks.

Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Susan, thanks for your question. Did you place the pizza stone on a trivet and convection tray when you placed it in the barbecue, or just straight on the grills?
We started placing it on the trivet but then lately we removed the trivet and had it straight on the grill. No convection tray just a pizza tray on the stone.
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Susan, we always recommend that you use a convection tray and trivet when using the Pizza Stone on the Q's as this turns your barbecue into an oven (using convection heating) to cook the food.
How old is your grill? Did it come with the barbecue or did you purchase it separately?
