Hi yes it has a spiral bristle brush.
Hi Joanne, it has a bristle roller brush and it is quite firm. I would contact your local Godfreys and ask them if it’s suitable for a wooden floor. I can tell you though that it’s by far the best stick vacuum I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had a few, including a Dyson V8 Absolute).

We would recommend having the battery on charge for about 12 hours and run the battery until it is fully flat for the first three times you use the machine.

Very odd, the head should turn on with the machine if all connected properly.
We would recommend taking the machine back to the store for them to check and fix for you.

There may be an issue with the charging stand.

We are sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing with your machine.
If your machine is red - power is reaching the machine and charging.
It should go blue when full charged.
But if it's red and blue flashing we do suggest to the machine booked in through your nearest Godfreys store for further inspection.

Have you cleaned the filters and checked nothing too large has been sucked into the rod?
Do the poles click together with inward nodules like the older floor vacuums? I found debris built up around them continuously.

Yes, please check the filters in the machine and check the head, rod and canister for any blockages.
Loss of suction is usually caused by blockages.
If you are still experiencing issues we would recommend to take the machine into your nearest Godfreys store, with proof of purchase, to be inspected further.

I purchased my wertheim evolution in October 2022 & have found that 3 times now the boost have cut off when using it. I also find that on hard surfaces when l switch the vacuum cleaner off a whole lot of dirt comes out & ends up back on the floor" This is disappointing.

Hi Teresa,
Yes, please check the filters in the machine and check the head, rod and canister for any blockages.
The machine will be cutting out due to restricted air flow through the motor causing it to over work, this will cause loss of suction strength which is why dirt is falling out after use.

The vacuum only comes with the one floor head for tile or carpet, but also comes with an upholstery head and small crevice tool and brush, look up youtube video for all attachments in action

Only one battery light will be red at a time, whichever is charging. Once both batteries are charged both lights will switch off. I just tried mine to make sure I had the answer right. Superb vacuum cleaner!
Is the back spare battery charging at the back, or do I need to bring it and attach it to the vacume to charge it?
Also if sucking has started not being as strong.. what may be wrong? (continually clean the vacume cleaner 'bag'/thing).

Both machines work very well and have similar specs.
One of the main differences is that the Wertheim comes with a HEPA filter which is better for asthma and allergy sufferers as it produces cleaner exhaust air.
You can go into your nearest Godfreys store to test these machines and compare.

The Wertheim should show without having to type it in. It is after all the highest rated stick vac with 4.7 out of 5 stars. Also, I don't understand why it doesn't show first in 'all results' for stick vacs, ahead of stick vacs rated 4.4 and 4.2 out of 5.
Seriously, I nearly missed this vac in the results. I was seconds away from walking out the door to buy a vac when a noticed the Wertheim in a google result. I will certainly be going to Godfrey's today to check it out.
