Not too bad
The fridge works fine, but the handles broke a couple of months after usage. It weren't the handles themselves but the pedestals inside the handle which are made of bad quality plastic. I found on internet a complete handle kit to replace which costs about 190$. I won't pay that money to replace only those plastic pieces. Sent an email to Electrolux and still waiting for an answer to find the proper replacement.
Purchased in July 2021 for $1,200.00.

WBE5314SA-R door handles
The door handle posts on our WBE5314SA fridge have broken, I rang Westinghouse and was told that the posts could not be purchased separatly and I had to buy the 2 handles at a cost of about $180.00 I think it is unreasonable to have to pay for the handles when I only need 2 posts.

Handles are crap, keep popping off now broken
Used for almost 2 years. Handles constantly pop off and now freezer handle foot has broken and I can't find a replacement. Wouldn't recommend Westinghouse. Have had others with bad experiences with this fridge also. Draw fronts don't hold tight and pull off also
Purchased in November 2021.

great space and reliable - just the handles are weak
watch the handles they are weak but Westinghouse replaced mine even whilst out of warranty. currently can only buy the complete handle set for about $180. they are going to start supplying the pedal stool only which is just a screw on item (plastic and breaks easy)
Purchased in October 2021.

Noisy
Have had this fridge now for three months. The style and refrigeration efficiency is good, however when in operation it sounds like a Jet Aircraft, the design of the fan desperately needs looking at. Other family members have got different brand fridges same size or larger and you would not even know they are running
Purchased in March 2021 for $1,558.00.

Beeping when door shut and no longer cold
purchased this fridge October 2016 and now it is no longer cold and keeps beeping when the door is shut! Freezer not cold either, it’s not even 3 years old and have had to throw out so much food! Spoke with Electrolux and we are 5 months out of the 2 year warranty and now it will cost me $145 for them to come out and just look at it! Then labour and parts on top of that! Not happy at all!
Purchased in October 2021 at Harvey Norman for $1,569.00.

Our Refrigerator was required to have parts replaced under warranty .
The Freezer was not operating at the Correct temperature . We were without a Refrigerator at this time for three weeks while we were waiting for the parts .
The Parts were eventually replaced by our Local Service Electrolux Agents .
Nine months later the same problem has occurred .
I have contacted Electrolux Call Centre three times they are reluctant to give assistance .
They keep referring me back to the Service Agent .

Weak handles
Have not had any issues with the fridge itself except the fridge handle broke off on the day of delivery. On the day of delivery, walked pass the fridge and lightly bumped the fridge handle. The bottom attachment of the handle broke off. The handle is attached to the main body of the fridge by small black plastic knobs. One of them broke when I bumped it lightly. I feel as though this is not supposed to occur after a light sideways bump.
I emailed Westinghouse over a week a go, I am still waiting for a reply with regards to it getting fixed. ...Read more

. Unfortunately the way the handle broke was more complicated than changing the black knob, and the whole door needed to be changed. They ordered the door and arranged another time to change the door. Done, and all under warrenty. Thank you Westinghouse.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Died 3 timed in 18 months.
Purchased from Joyce Mayne with a Westinghouse dishwasher for our new house. Fridge has died 3 times forcing us to throw away hundreds of dollars of food each time.
The fridge just stops chilling/freezing each time and the temp gauge inside flashes.
This first time they replaced a fan. The second time the put in a new compressor. Now the repairer wanted to replace some pipes?
The last repairer said that this would keep happening (not sure why) and to ask Joyce Mayne for a new fridge Contacted Joyce Mayne who were helpful and agreed this was...Read more

Great family sized fridge!
We upgraded recently to the Westinghouse (after having another Westinghouse for 7 years) and love it! There is plenty of room inside, with the wide shelves, door shelves, bottle holders, etc The fridge is also nice and bright when you open it, making it easy to find things.
The stainless doors have a nice clean finish, and easy to clean.

Great use of space
I like the design, and it is simple and great for a family of 4. I like that the vegr compartment is easy to reach. Also it is fairly easy to keep clean. Temperature controls are good. Freezer works well, i like the sliding out drawers in the freezer, makes for easy storage

Best fridge I've owned
Besides a minor freezer drawer handle snapping off, this is the best fridge I've owned. There's heaps of room, the climate controls are easy to use, everything stays cold. The stainless steel door is actually quite fingerprint resistant, especially with kids around. It's pretty quiet too, barely noticeable. Very happy with it.

Wish i could edit my 1st post from 5star to 1(above review) 1582 veiws. After a year and a half my fridge is playing up, it keeps beeping and the doors are shut properly the fridge part stopped working took out alot of food and left it for a few hours got cold again was not even full to start with, now has stopped again in the same day randomly beeping press temp button stops beeping, then starting a few minutes later i am extremely disappointed and have had to throw out alot of food. I have 3 children my 1 & 2 year old that depend on the milk thats in the fridge for their bottles through the night. So far, it is good!
We bought it last year August from the good guys with 100 dollar cash back and so far it is working well. It is reasonable priced and with reasonable size for a small family. the only problem is one of the freezer drawer is a bit loose but it is okay for me. I like the grey stainless door so overall it is a good fridge.

Overall great Fridge
Bought the fridge from Harvey Norman and working great so far. Cooling is awesome and each compartment get properly cooled. Changing the temperature on the freezer as well as the top fridge is very easy. The wine rack inside is a great feature. Ample of space to store your groceries and other stuff.

So so
I must admit that one of the reviewers is right. Fridge is not entierly stainless steal, is made out of some other "components" as if patched up with some other material with same colour all over? it looks more roomy on the outside then it has room on the inside. We were expecting that our new fridge will fit in same if not more amount of our food then the old and a smaller one.. but for some reason this is not the case. Freezer also seems too small even though it is very nicely designed. We have bought it in December and at the moment is runni...Read more
ng good, and quietly and I do not have any major issues with it. Temperature seems to be ok even on very hot days it keeps steady coolness. Hopefully it will stay like that and we will get used to our new fridge. Our old fridge we had for 20 years so maybe that is why we are "hard pleasers"?Similar opinion? Terrible cheap made fridge
Had the fridge 9 months and it stopped working. The tech had a look at it and said it had completely iced up which is caused by humid days or leaving the door open for to long. The door was never left open but we are experiencing some very humid weather. Now we have to leave a FROST FREE fridge defrost for 2 days . Very poor customer service they do nothing at all to help .

What thar???
Me again! This time it's about a, get this! Advertised as a Bottom Mount Fridge - Stainless Steel. Specifications online says: Colour - Stainless Steel. But that is not true. The fridge is actually two tone in colouring. It has a dark metal grey finish on the majority of the unit and the doors are only Stainless Steel. I was informed by a manufacturer employee for this company's brand of Fridge, that the whole covering of the fridge should be Stainless Steel. I am very disappointed in this purchase as the fridge looks just like a big cheap met...Read more
al cabinet, a bit like a bank safe but different. The metal part has a rough not smooth surface with two Stainless Steel doors hanging off it. The fridge is not at all what I expected. I was told that I was getting a Stainless Steel finish. And the description specifications regarding the "Colour" of the fridge also indicates that it is Stainless Steel. What thaa!!! The pricing of this fridge should be a lot less, simply because it is not Stainless Steel as advertised. Australia does not make this brand of fridge they are made overseas. I can remember when we bought our White Goods, especially fridges before this new Stainless Steel fad emerged. The fridges were one colour. Classic white, that included the cabinet and the door/s. I am sure this fridge that I have purchased will perform as it should but it is not as I was led to believe it was, décor wise speaking to match or blend with the rest of my kitchen, of which has a lot of good quality Stainless Steel furnishing it. This fridge looks unfinished. And I paid too much for it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi there, my Westinghouse WBE5314SA handles have fallen off and apart from the handle inserts all breaking and not being able to get replacements, a couple of the little black lugs which are attached to the inside of the fridge doors have snapped. I’ve been told to replace handles which will cost approx $180 even though the only thing wrong with handles is the broken inserts but you can’t replace the broken black lugs without having to purchase new doors.! I’m livid. Other fridge makers sell the door handle inserts but none would fit our handles. Very upsetting. Thought of trying to remove door skin and put a screw and washer on the inside of door but not sure how door skin is attached, whether attached with screws or glued. Worried about cracking door skin if glued. Also the fridge cyclic defrost isn’t working and I’ve been told needs a new logic board, fridge coilsare freezing up and defrost timer not working.

Hi all,
We have a Westinghouse fridge freezer Model WABE5314SA.
Just of late it has started to beep even when all the doors are closed, just
wondering if anyone may know as to what the cause of this beeping may be?
Many thanks,
Andy

Can you please tell me how many watts this fridge is please.
1 answer
There should be a label inside the fridge somewhere with all its specification details on it. A magnifying lens might be useful to read the very small print. Somewhere within it should state tohe wattage. Or, go to the manufacturer's website.
