Doors STAYING open
Maintains good temperature IF doors are FORCED shut, past some sort of inbuilt cam lock mechanism.(slamming is best!!!) . After a lifetime of NOT slamming the frig door, it takes awhile to retrain to do this. 10 mths and climbing. Otherwise, the shelves are so easy to keep clean and it seems to run super quiet, except when the freezer ICES up from doors being held ajar, and cooling fan hits the built up ice. This would be the Frig of choice for Parents who love to keep telling the little ones to CLOSE THE FRIG DOOR.!!!!!! P.S, The lighting is Superb.

We use thes all the time in or rental company
These are a great fridge at not an over the top prices. Don't seem to have any problems with them. For a great no frills fridge these are perfect. These fridges are perfect for the average sized family and seem to keep a great temperature. Good all round fridge for the budget conscious person

Perfect and easy to keep clean and light in weight
Easy to clean and runs very quiet, maintains good temperature in all compartments. I especially love the ice blocks compartment and ice blocks dispenser, so cleverly designed and manufactured, and handy to utilize. Light in weight and very easy to move to clean floor below. Beautiful finish outside and easy to keep it looking beautiful.

I have a brand new this model fridge delivered this morning. We waited 4 hours as instructed before turning on it has now been on for 6 hours and is not cold at all. Is there something I have missed to do.

turn to page 18 of the manual it can be a bit tricky doing the setting I eventually got mine right on the mid setting 3 blue lights illuminate and stay on till you change to a colder setting. give me the old dial setting cold, mid and colder inside fridges any day much simpler than these Electronic controls. try putting a thermometer inside the fridge to test. I have had my fridge for 1 year and it is going really well. hope this helps a bit.
Hi Kate, I have checked the inside of my fridge with a thermometer and is a cool 2deg on mid setting. Cheers

Hi there. The only advice i can suggest is to check and make sure that the air flow vents in the rear inside of the freezer box (there are four, almost one in each corner) don't have food pushed up against them, which of course would restrict vital airflow. Otherwise it may be a dealer assist problem. best of luck with that.
I would call the place of purchase and tell them your issues and take it in for an exchange. Im living with my fridge after experience this issue and defrosting the whole unit it now sounds like a motorbike in the kitchen for Pretty much half the day i lost the warranty so am stuck with it until i can sort it out i think we just bought a dodgy fridge Westinghouse never again
This fridge should be taken off the market in my opinion. The problems that you're having Nick with the freezer are similar to the problems I am having with the fridge. I have to keep my fridge at the coolest possible setting (coldest) to have it work properly otherwise it doesn't store my food at ideal temperature. I bought a fridge thermometer and this tells me it's at 4 degrees which I believe is good. The other day it went up to 10 degrees for some reason, then dropped back to 2 degrees but has finally settled to 4 degrees again. I say contact your place of purchase and Westinghouse. I had always thought Westinghouse was a good brand but now I have my doubts as I also have an oven by Westinghouse and that doesn't cook at the right temperature. All I say, is I will never buy Westinghouse in the future.
