Overworked, Understaffed and Rude Customer Service
I did my click and collect at Top Ryde Woolworths with my partner and regret it as it wasted 3 hours of my life. The front service station are completely overworked, understaffed and the manager of customer service said "she was doing me a favour" by asking one of the other staff members people to go to Australia post (200m away) to collect the parcels that had been delivered in the morning (it was 1pm). I came back 20 minutes and found out that my parcel did not get collected. The customer service manager yelled at me to leave and come back th...Read more
e following day as she was too busy to help me. I can understand why she had a short temper as she was so overworked, but as the manager of customer service I would have expected her to be less rude. Woolworths really need to consider hiring/rostering more people, as the lines for the service station had > 10 people waiting and/or cancel the Click and collect option as they just don't have the capacity to do so. Eventually customers are going to not return for fear of rude and unpleasant behaviour by overworked staff.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Woolworths Ermington
Rude staff, the younger staff need a lesson in customer service as they’re very rude in the way they speak. Luckily I go there only for smaller items but would rather go to Top Ryde or Parramatta for bigger shops.

Weevils in the woolworths brand brown rice.
I nearly cooked them for dinner. Thank god I had my glasses on. A freshly opened packet and the rice was actually moving. How disgusting ! I’ll never buy it again.

Pathetic woolworths
Extremely disappointed, wanted to buy a product, checked online before going, it was available in a woolworth store 12 km away from my home, travelled there, in the store i couldn't find it after searching for 10 min. Then i asked a staff to help finding it, after spending 35 min, he confirmed its showing in stock in their system but they dont have any in the shelf. So i should buy it elsewhere as no nearby woolworths have any stock. These guys wasted my half a day. Pathetic and poor staff and the market chain as well. Never recommend anyone going there for shopping. They are expert in ruining your precious moments.

My local Woolies rocks!!
My local Woolworths are fantastic!! They serve me each week and are always super lovely! I had a lovely young lady pack my bag in such a way that made it so much easier to unpack at home. Each of the staff have been so lovely. I have had to return items and they were so easy to deal with about it all. Thank you Hampton Park Woolworths

Disgusting quality
Purchased a Caesar Salad Kit yesterday 15/01/2020. Use by date 19/01/2020. The quality is disgusting. The kit is full of brown spine of the lettuce and contains very little Cos lettuce leaves. This is not good enough. There is obviously no quality control. Will not purchase this product again.

Items missing and received items we didn’t order!
We went to Woolworths in Lilydale to pick up our click and collect order, it took them a long time to bring our shopping to the front of the store. The staff member explained to us that they had to swap a few items around to make the order right. When we got home and started to unpack the bags, I quickly realised that we had been given another customer’s order. Everything in the bags wasn’t what we ordered. After calling the store my husband promptly went back to get our order, and return the order we had received. When he got to the store he l...Read more
ooked through the bags he had been given, supposedly our order and it was wrong again! Items were missing. My husband then had to wait around while the staff finally got the right items in our order. When my husband got home not only did we find item STILL missing but we we also found we had received 3 of the same product even though we only ordered 1. Grossly incompetent we won’t be using click and collect at Woolworths EVER AGAIN!!. Don’t offer a service if you can’t get orders right!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Can you trust this company?
I have been to Woolworths recently ... very reluctantly. It was close. If I had an option I wouldn’t go there. They ripped all that money from Australia. By not paying proper wages that money was not spent by their employees in the general Australian economy. Who has been sacked? If I stole an apple by mistake I’m a thief. Woolworths can steal $600 mil and they get to say ... “Gee sorry “ we have to as consumers react by taking our business elsewhere for at least 12 months .. then, and only then will they not give their executives outrages bonuses.

Barramundi portions. Absolutely terrible!
The packet says barramundi portions, but it’s more like barramundi tails. These are 8 of the 10 and the other 2 were the same. I’ve bought 3 packets of these and they are all the same. It’s highly disappointing that Woolworths markets this as portions when in actuality they are merely scraps as large part is inedible fish far. and ends that they don’t use for the in their fillets at the deli.

Rotten pomegranate
We bought pomegranate from Point cook Stockland Woolworths Store ( 1 Main St, Point Cook VIC 3030) on 6th January.
It was completely rotten and not eatable. It is frustrating to get such quality food.

Manager won’t even answer the phone
Hamburger rolls were hard/almost burnt just on one side. I couldn’t see until I opened them at home due to the way they were packed, so it was definitely deliberately done. They were also crumbly & dry, I doubt they were baked today like the label says. Rang to let them know, phone rang out twice. When they answered and transferred me to the manager, the phone rang out again. Bad product, worse service.

Worthless customer service
I have experienced this thing not only today at woolies (NT,Darwin city,8:55 PM). Every-time I go there a lady (I won't mention her name here ) in a front desk ask us to do bagging ourself in a very rude way. I don't think that's a good way of customer service. I think it's not only her fault, its a manager and Incharge as well. They have to teach them how to provide good customer service to the customers.
If anyone know the place to complain with name of that person, please let me know. I have really a bad experience at Woolworth, Darwin City.
I am even not giving them a 1 star but its a compulsory.

Just to combat the haters
I understand some people might have had bad experiences once or twice but the company is massive and they generally have amazing staff that are well paid.
I just think a business that keeps you fed at a low price shouldn't deserve a one star. Just cause they gave you wrong change or worse excuses.
My experience with woolies have been pleasant overall over multiple locations

Is the current meat packaging in Woolies
going to continue. Meat is grey and smells. Both beef and pork are disgusting. Have moved to Coles in the interim. Hoping we change back to original meat products.

Why have woolworths changed there sausages (large tray) always liked them now I don`t I have bought my last tray
2 answers
because they want to sell less sausages in a small tray for the same price of a large tray its happening everwhere
Supermarket sausage ingredients read more like a chemistry test and its the chemicals they don't have to list on the labels you need to worry about. Forget convenience and don't fool yourself you don't have time ---go to your local butcher and enjoy real meat again, it will surprise you.
