Not as generous as Coles
Too many points needed for a reward.Flybuys has more many bonus point offers and more partners to earn from.Woolies needs to step up game or not do it at all.

Its OK
Takes a very long time to build up enough points for a reward.
Some of the specials are good value. Often find points (especially promotional points) don't always get added to your account.

What’s not to love about scanning a card and getting a build up of money off my Christmas shopping!
You are already buying things, it costs you nothing, seriously it’s worth jumping on board.

Really handy
Really handy if you look through the options properly, widely used in many types of stores and fairly easy to build points/fuel discount and redeemable options. Helps with budgets and discounts

Scam for points
Even if you purchase the amount or more on the earn extra points you dont get them if you spend the amount or over the amount required for the bonus points in same month. You dont get them you still just get $10 management should be ashamed of ripping customers off going back to coles.

BEWARE of BWS Bonus Point offers
When activating BWS Bonus Points offers make sure you check the fine print. Some offers require activation 2 hours before you make the purchase. You will not receive the Bonus points otherwise. I expect many people don't read the fine print and therefore don't receive the points. The lack of transparency on which offers have been activated and are 'live' is a major drawback with the Woolworths Rewards website. I much prefer Coles Flybuy offers for this reason which are more straightforward without the tricks!

Why do we have to "activate" every time?
I frequently do my weekly shop, then receive an email telling me to "activate" the bonus rewards/points being offered that week, at which point it is too late. If I've spent the requisite amount for that week, I should receive the points, regardless of whether I've clicked on a link in an email. The card/rewards program should operate independently of me checking my spam folder.

not worth the bother
annoying having to always activate reward points should just be automatic. Even more frustrating with the BWS points when the items are only in stock in the eastern states. That annoying one time log in access code which is an every time log in access code which takes over an hour to appear in my mail box. Woolies is very expensive as far as meat and veg goes so I now shop elsewhere, What I get in rewards I save twice as much shopping elsewhere

Woolworths Rewards a complete waste of time
I don't understand signing up to a rewards program only to have to continually 'activate' rewards offered via email to gain points. I've already signed up, either give me the appropriate points or don't. Won't be wasting my time any further.

Waste of Time. No Customer service
Impossible to chat with a customer service. There is no phone number to call and online chat in their website doesn't work. People leave you waiting for over 10 minutes then disconnect you. Don't waste your time. Better programs to be with.

Love WW rewards
I love it, I’ve been a member for 2 years I’ve received $710 in rewards. This last year I always choose to activate the offers I usually get one a day even if I don’t use that one and when it’s something I use a lot of I stock up during the bonus activation period which gives me a lot more points. I saved my points for Xmas time this year and it was the most beneficial. I gave my kids a bike, PlayStation and games and school supplies and I only had to pay $85 after the rewards were taken off.

Am i missing something?
Hmm, logged into my W Rewards account for first time in 5 years, curious as to points level. Underwhelmed, is how i feel... 5 years of my purchasing history and i get next to nothing as their “loyal” customer. Looks like i can redeem / convert W points into QFF points or $$ off my shop, other than that it seems to be the only “reward”. 5 years worth and today it tells me i need a few more points to get 1000 QFF points! Clearly thats one less card on my wallet as from today!

Never get any bonus offers.
I never get any bonus offers. People on Facebook are sharing great bonus point offers from Woolworths and BWS, which makes it even more annoying. i just don’t understand why Woolworths would prefer me to shop elsewhere.

Irritating
I would do almost all my shopping at Aldi if the nearest one wasn't 85km away. I signed up for the Woolies Rewards program only because I want to get their weekly e-mail list of specials at the local store. But almost every day there's yet another "Points Offer!" e-mail from them, and I am sick of seeing them. I just click on the "Activate" link and then delete them. Aldi with no "Points" program is much cheaper than Woolies with theirs.

Sneaky way to stop you earning points.
7 years a Woolworths rewards member, they have stopped sending any emails at all,no offers. They say nothing is wrong but its been 3 months. A sneaky way to put brakes on earning points.

Great reward scheme
Everyday rewards card has been such a great and fun way to earn points. Scanning at check out or online . And earning $10 for every 2000 points you collect .so far I've collected $380 worth. Great system. You can also save your rewards to use at Christmas time. Or transfer them to fly points.

Stingy rewards program
I've been with WW Rewards for about eight years now. So checking my points balance today, I noticed that I've redeemed $150 over the span of my membership. That's pretty poor, considering I shop at Woolies at least once a week and my wife tends to do any online grocery shopping there. Now I realise that at some point there was a rework of the website, so maybe tracking doesn't go back eight years. Still $150 is pretty poor compared to Flybuys where, with bonus offers, I tend to get around $100 off my shop every 3 months or so. Especially...Read more
when you consider Woolies only lets you redeem $50 at the most (and even then tries to get you to cashout every $10 earned) and Coles lets you redeem the whole lot in a single shop. To be fair, it wasn't always like this. Eight years ago both programs were pretty much on par for poor return on effort. Woolies had the edge with money off your shop and Flybuys looked like it was going to go extinct. Well how things have changed with Flybuys being miles ahead of Woolies in terms of value and ease of use. Bonus points, for instance, always get credited on Flybuys, whereas I have to chase them up with WW Rewards. I've gotten the excuse that the offer wasn't activated, yet the website has no record of offers. Again, this is somewhere Flybuys is leading, since the majority of activated offers are visible in their app. Really, the only thing Woolies got ahead on was allowing you to meet your some bonus offers spend requirement through as many shopping trips as you want over the active period. And even then, Flybuys has picked up their slack and implemented the same thing. WW Rewards is at the point Flybuys was eight years ago - a stale, stingy program that doesn't give adequate compensation to their customers for the data collected through the program. WW Rewards needs innovation and generousity to make their customers feel valued. They need to improve their online operation to add flexibility and improved user experience for the customer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Rubbish Rewards program (what Rewards) and even worse Privacy Regulations.
Been a Woolworths Rewards member for several years but what rewards do I get, not like flybuys. having said that Coles and Aldi is the preferred supplier for our shopping.
But wait there is more. We Purchased a house three years ago and are still getting the Rewards letters for somebody who lived here years ago. On Calling the Rewards help desk to try and stop the letters and wasting everybody's time, they said IAW their privacy policy they can not stop the letters. Pathetic.

nt to my house it would be stopped in a flash as soon as I rang the bank and the bank would have thanked me. On the call the "Answer from Woolworths was throw the letters out or return to sender. Yeah once or twice is ok but not all the time. but this is not the solution. Calling again today they again said they would try and stop the mail but can't say that that is possibleSimilar opinion? Worst rewards program I've ever seen
I've been in this program since it started. Amount of good bonus points offers for spending so much a week for 4 weeks ZERO. I'd get more FlyBuys points in a month than in a year with this program spending the same amount of money. Does anyone seriously spend $300 or $400 to get $10 or $20 worth of bonus points? Considering how many people appear to like their FaceBook page perhaps I am the only person who receives irrelevant, useless offers 99% of the time. Do get occasional bonus points on products offers a couple of which have been good but ...Read more
since I usually then have to waste hours every time chasing those up - always blamed on a technical issue which may be true but FlyBuys seem to operate without these endless "issues" - I can no longer be bothered with this program & am closing my a/c. Only ever shopped in WWs for products Coles don't sell but will now either drive to closest IGA or do without.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
