The plastic tube that pushes the fruit out should work,I don’t understand how the unit stays in the Shute, is the fruit thawed too much and therefore too soft?

Can you refreeze what was already frozen or do you have to eat it as soon as you have made it into a smoothy? I want to make a big batch and eat later save making new batch each time
I’ve made small batches and put in a container, I’d eat it within a few days, not long term as I tried banana and berry long term and it went discoloured, like a brown, maybe air got in container, but we...
Read more don’t have ice cream left in the freezer long lol I just freeze lots of fruits and do it as we need itIs there a trick to taking the unit apart for cleaning. I can't get the 'chute' to turn to unlock it and I am afraid if I force it the plastic will crack or break. It has been awhile since it was last used. Any ideas or suggestions?
I've never had a problem turning it to take it apart unless maybe it has been wet when put away and has perished. I'd just force it and see, but yes it may break.
I agree it can be a bit hard at times. I just turn it sideways, lean it against me and hold the bottom part still and turn the shute part. It gets easier with wear. If its stuck spay a bit of cooking oil between the parts, that worked for me.
Thanks for your response. I actually sprayed it with some PAM cooking spray and it loosened it up.
I just used my Yonana Elite Red for the first time, and the motor didn't work at all. However, I didn't buy the machine in Australia (my auntie is in the US and she bought it for me last year). Didn't have time to use it until now... but it didn't work at all. I wonder where I can get it fixed here. Such a waste if it cannot be repaired. Also I would love to know how much is the cost for reparation? I am in Sydney. Thank you very much!
Hi, I just bought it but I have a question. When it's on isn't the white stuff with knife spinning? Cause my is not and it's nothing coming out just all stuck in the tube. Is my machine broken? If it does. I'm so bad luck.
Hi Penny, you could have bought a dud - it happens. Just return it with your receipt to the place of purchase and they should replace it. We've had heaps of use out of ours and when it's working it ...

I was going to buy an icecream maker but found out there was so much boiling and cooling and time wasting to do. I like yonanas and want to know which is best standard for $69 at harvey Norman or elite for $146? I would like to get my girls to eat this instead coz my eldest won't eat a lot of fruit and needs too have it in her diet? Help please
Yes, we found it very useful, quick and tasty. Some bananas tast better than others (frozen, overripe sugar bananas are good), the big, long bananas were not so good as their taste tends to dominate r...
Read moreather than creating an ice-cream-like desert. It is very easy to take apart and clean as no ingredients stick (no oils used); if you crumble chocolate into it, you'll need a brush for the blade part. Just try try the stadard one first. If you love it as much as us, you'll end up passing it on to someone else and buying the elite version later. Put in frozen cherries (Morello, from a jar), frozen mangos, peaches, anything you like but I recommend alternating a piece of banana between other fruits as it acts like a binder. Coconut flakes also. Dark chocolate thins (like from Lindt) best and you need very little. Keep them cool or freeze also. Healthy deserts also!can fresh cream or yogurt frozen into chunks used with fruits to get better taste. Also any liquid essence can be used or not?
I've read u can freeze coconut cream the thick stuff that sits on top of the tin, freeze into ice cubes and thaw them a little first,so i guess thick cream and yoghurt would work also, as for any liq...
Read moreuid essence or liquors, try soaking the fruit in them, then freeze until useDoes anybody know if you can keep any leftovers in the freezer once it has been through the yonanas machine & if it is still as good afterwards ?
I had that issue a number of times. It's still as good but it will freeze solid again. So I have done is put them into a plastic cup and stuck an ice cream stick and there you are, an ice pole.
Yonanas has stopped working, made one batch, cleaned it and went to make another. Everything is in the right place but it will not turn on.
I've had no problems with mine and I use it almost daily.
Before buying it I did read some reviews (another site) about the motor burning out if the fruit was too frozen. I put our frozen fruit in th...
I think some of the machines are faulty, they must be, I followed the instructions very carefully, I didn't force the bananas through, I let them thaw for 15 minutes, and yet the Yonanas machine broke...
Read more after three days of only making three single batches. The replacement broke too after just four uses I think. Both times I turned on the Yonanas machine's button, the motor made a very loud noise and that was it, it wouldn't turn on again. What is the price?and where is it sold?
