The true test of an insurance company is how you are treated when making a claim. I found Youi to be terrific when I made a claim after hitting a kangaroo. I rang Youi the day after the crash. There was a short phone interview, a choice of crash repairers and an assessment arranged for that same day. The claim was approved that same day. The crash repairer proved to be excellent. Big shoutout to Shane at Youi. Thanks for your terrific service.

Very easy to setup. Sales person Kate Steffan was excellent. The value was probably equal to others with your excess slightly higher but Kate's service was much better than all other providers therefore I went with your product.

The gentleman that called me was polite and professional. He didn't push any products for me to buy and just gave me quotes. He called me back the day and time I asked him to. Very happy with his service.



Their quote was best for my brand new car. I also have my house insured with them. The Youi app is great and I get great deals when I need to shop.

Can not fault youi insurance I work with cars and speak to hundreds recently about the catastrophe hail damage in Canberra recently. I can assure any one Youi are unmatched for customer service and timely claims. I had my car towed
a claim # name direct contact # and a tracking # and several ph calls text n emails within days! while several other people w NRMA had there car on the side of the road for weeks while needing to wait hours on hold to find out what's happening. Meanwhile I'd been paid my claim n looking for a new car..
I can not recommend them highly enough

Quote for my car was $1650 (approx) with $1500 excess and choice of repairer. Only offered replacement car if written off in first 2 years (alternate quote was 3 years).
This quote offered no savings. Alternate quote was $150 cheaper.

My experience to date has been good. Both staff I have dealt with have been friendly, relaxing but professional at the same time and I saved money. Time will tell if I have a claim (which I hope I don’t) whether this exceptional service continues.

I had a Hyundai iMax in 2018 and saved $600 by insuring it with Youi, then when I sold it and bought a Hyundai i30 this week, I saved a further $240. It's an awesome feeling, and the Youi guys were so amenable and to the point on the telephone. I was made to feel like one of the family.

Policy was good value I changed policies as my last Insurer jacked up my policy up by almost $90.
You must not insist on 30 words as I have stated my feeling prior to this question.

Good value and easy claims

Switched to youi a couple of years ago. Took out a comprehensive insurance. Saved several hundred $ in premiums. Had to make a claim as someone reversed into my parked car. Everything was quite easy. Approval was quick. Since I wasn’t at fault, did not have to pay any excess. Repair was booked in(appointment was a month away as the repairer had to order the parts and did not have any availability sooner..but car was drivable). Paid for rental car option in policy so during repair had a car to drive around.
Definitely took away the pain and hassle of making a claim. Would definitely recommend!

We purchased our home and contents insurance through youi and saved heaps so tried with my car insurance too. Managed to save money there too but was also offered a discount on my original insurance too! What really set youi apart from the other insurers I looked at was the fantastic customer service. Josh R was incredibly helpful, friendly and prompt to deal with through both quotes and finalisation of policies. I wanted an insurer that was easy to deal with and friendly and I definitely found it!

Got Dom as my Sales Rep - New Car policy on change-over as competitive as the cheapest alternative. Great to know after being with youi for over 12 years! Have home and contents with youi as well and that's where the savings also kick in! Dom helped me with expert advice on options and combinations. Couldn't be happier knowing that on drop-off of old and pick-up of new, we are covered with youi down to the second!

Tamieka was fantastic, very patient.
My day started terribly, when found out my current insurance company would no longer cover me after I made a claim for my stolen car.
Having my car stolen was a very upsetting ordeal - then to get this news they would not cover my new car was another upsetting blow.
My partner suggested I try Youi - best advice.
After starting the day in tears, Tamieka totally put my mind at ease - she made the process so easy.
Now I can finally put the whole ordeal of having my car stolen is behind me, as Youi insured my new car.
We now have all our insurance policy’s with Youi.

Thanks Tamieka, you are amazing at you job - you definitely put a smile on my face.

What percentage of Youi claim centre staff are based overseas? What companies still have their claims staff working here in Australia? I have had many bad experiences with robotic, unhelpful Manilla-based call centres.
