It was great but a bit tricky to use.
Steak cooks well, and cakes bake great too! However chicken it a bit tricky to cook. The weight of this product is pretty heavy, compared with similar bbq machines, safal.
Purchased for $200.00.

Not happy
I have trouble keeping the temperature steady, it’s temperamental constantly requiring monitoring while roasting, i also bought the exhaust fan and watch the smoke rise to the unit then rather than being drawn in, it then goes left and right, two of the lights in the exhaust fan and perished, I strip it down every two months to give it a vigorous clean

A fantastic BBQ for camping
We have a Weber BBQ 100 but because of the high hood we couldn’t put it in the caravan’s tunnel boot. We decided to go for a Ziggy because the lid slides down under the main grill. Easy to use and to clean. Warms up quickly (and if it is windy please make sure to be sheltered) and cooks equally fast. Happy with our purchase and would recommend!

Castors that simply fall off???
After purchasing the Ziggy with stand and wheels/castors,......one slight uneven surface,....the stupid castors fall out? So annoying and a VERY basic feature to ensure the safety of the BBQ not to topple. When both fall out the whole BBQ is on a dangerous angle.Please,...get it right and make appropriate attachments.

Best BBQ
We are very happy with this BBQ. Easy to use, food turned out as what we have expected. Like the lid which helps to maintain the temperature and keeps way from birds' dropping. Though it's a bit expensive but it's worth it in the long run. We bought cheap BBQs before but keep chucking them out after a few use. We believe in quality.

Great BBQ
This bbq would have to be the best I have ever owned. The way the hot plates are individually set so you can mix up the grill with hot plates is a fantastic idea. The beauty then is that you can throw these into the dishwasher afterwards. The way this bbq cooks chicken, meat and fish is brilliant. Highly recommend to pay the extra money for a quality product

Not great!
I have cooked some delicious roasts in this BBQ. Beef, lamb and pork. All guess work. The Ziggy will not hold a constant temperature; you are constantly fiddling with the knobs to keep it thereabouts. When it looks right, it is. I just cooked a couple of scotch fillet steaks. For some reason, it just won't get hot enough for grilling. I ended up finishing the steaks in a frying pan in the kitchen. If I had my time over, I wouldn't buy this product again. As an out-door oven it is pretty good. As a BBQ, it leaves a lot to be desired.

Starter takes forever
How is it possible that in 2015 bbq starters are still so unreliable?
Brand new and it can take up to 10 attempts before starting.
Made to a price in China so I guess that explains it.
Silly thing is I read reviews on here before purchasing, should have paid more attention to the negative ones.
This bbq should retail for no more than $199.

I want to marry my BBQ
This BBQ is perfect for our large family. Cooked large coral trout to perfection, and you can add roast lamb, chicken wings, pineapple, stir fries etc to the list. Initially went shopping for a webber and come home with our Ziegler and so happy we did! Easy to clean and maintain (we use the dishwasher), cannot wait to have our first pizza night!

Review from a chef-First day of new purchase
I know - we made pizza's - omg fantastic, with great dough made, all controls on low, pre heated 20 mins. They were fantastic. Impressed. Tomorrow night roast pork, we haven't been able to achieve cracking in the Webber, so this will be a big test - stay tuned!

Natural gas version, Great!
I've recently purchased the natural gas version of the Ziggy and find it fantastic. The option of having two burners as opposed to the one on the Weber Q is what sold me, & also the deeper hood which is both practical and design friendly. The trolley is sturdy enough for balconies as it really sits in one place most of the time, & it's easy to keep clean. Highly recommend it.
Two burners, the high hood, Temp gauge, & split hot plates.
I think over priced, but most in this range of bqq are overpriced for what they offer.

Excellent product
Just bought one and it works like a charm... the steaks were cooked to perfection. It was very easy to clean. Very easy to start up and heats up incredibly quickly to cook roast. Costs $450 for the one that attaches to the natural gas outlet plus $170 for the stand and an additional $50 for the interchangeable plate.
Excellent product
A little expensive. Similar price to weber.

Hi I"ve got a Zigler Brown Twin Burner natural gas model but we also like to go camping etc so i would like to know if I can simply change the natural gas regulator to a LPG regulator to run LPG?
Thanks

Hi
Generally when the conversion is done from LPG to Natural gas - different injectors are put in. So you will need to go to the original injectors too.

I have a new twin grill on natural gas. Really struggling to ignite it. Is there any tips or tricks? Turn the gas on and let it run for a few seconds and then click ignition but still nothing. Might light 2 out of 10 times.

Was this changed to run on natural gas, ours is LP Gas and has no problem lighting, I would definitely ring the shop. Ours lights straight away, you could have a faulty unit.
All good. Shop sorted me out. Ordered a replacement manifold. Also wasn't pushing in knob properly to get the flame thrower working. Thanks

Used the Ziggy last night for the first time. OK job but beware the front section does not get that hot so you can only use it to keep food warm post cooking!
