Hi, I purchased a Zodiac AX10 in January 2022 from Pool and Spa Warehouse at Blacktown, NSW, until recently it has worked fine however one rubber track comes off the wheel every day, there is no apparent damage to the track or the wheels, what would be causing this problem, would the rubber tracks need replacing so soon?
Hi DRS, May I ask if you have spoken with our Customer Care team and lodged a warranty claim?
I took the unit to your Blacktown distributor today and after inspection and confirmation of a fault, lodged a warranty claim, seems a bit of a waist of time as I now have to wait for a service tech t...

I had the track coming off on one side as it was worn but as the cleaner was less than 2 years old I contacted zodiac directly and they replaced the parts under warranty. I live in Sydney and could no...
Read moret find anyone in the "find a dealer" section. Good luckHi John. Can you please confirm your postcode?
Hi. We have just purchased the AX10 and love it so far. It cleans the bottom of our pool beautifully. The only thing is it won't climb the walls of our recently tiled kidney shaped pool. We borrowed next door neighbours Dolphin which is a robot and doesn't rely on suction to make it move and that didn't climb our walls either - even though it climbs the wall of the neighbours rectangle fibreglass pool. So it has nothing to do with lack of suction or the AX10 itself I'm thinking. It must either be the tiles and/or the curvature of our pool which is stopping the cleaners from climbing our walls. Any suggestions? I know with the Kreepy Krauly they offer a separate foot with dimpled cork inserts that help it to climb the tiled pool walls. Does the AX10 have anything like this for my issue?
Hi, no the AX10 doesn’t have anything like that. When we first bought ours it worked really well, then we started having issues with the unit and Zodiac declined any warranty work. If you still can, I...
Read more would suggest returning the unit and get a full refund and buy a kreepy krauly instead.Hi Tracey, The only other thing that you can check is the current Ph level of the water? if you can confirm that reading, we can rule out that from the reason it wont climb. Read morey separate features as you mentioned above. Thanks.Hi. I have had an AX10 for about 18 months and recently it seems to clean for a few minutes and then just stops. It isn’t clogged with anything and the suction is fine. Any advice appreciated.
The most likely is that the drive motor has packed in. According to Zodiac, if your unit gets exposed to chlorine, the components breakdown leading to failure. Apparently you have to rinse it in fresh...
Read more water every two days. I had to go to consumer affairs to get mine fixed as Zodiac wouldn’t acknowledge their two year warranty. Good luck.Hi Mark. Please call us on 1300 763 021 and we can help with any troubleshooting and warranty claim if required. Thanks.

I have just purchased and installed a Zodiac AX10 pool cleaner, it works really well but how do i stop it from climbing so high on the walls as it nearly comes out the pool and starts taking in air
Unfortunately you can’t, there is no way to set it, it was part of the reason our pool pump packed in as an air pocket locked up the impeller.
HI Brendon, May I ask if you have checked the suction level of the pool? Thanks.

I’ve had a Zodiac 10 since 2016.
The rubber cleaners have stopped spinning, suction seems to be ok. I have noticed when I lift the cleaner to the surface, and the connection piece is raised out of the water it sucks in air.
Is this normal or that is where I am loosing suction??
Hi Simon, look up the video online about maintaining your AX10/MX8 and take your unit apart. You only need one correctly sized standard Philips screwdriver to do this. It is simple and foolproof to do...
Read more. You will probably discover that the engine is choked with tiny/thin/long fibrous plant parts and once removed all should be good. All working parts are easily tested on the bench.Hi I have just bought the Ax 10
Very expensive but thought I need something reliable and dealer didn’t have creepy krauly at the time.
I’m getting zero movement at all 1,2,3 settings.
Pump seems to be ok as nearly sucked my finger off at the skimmer boxer inlet.
Feeling dienchantered at moment as this was for a remote area property.
Is there something that needs tweaking that I’m missing?
Hi Deon,
Tricky question as there are a number of variables. Essentially the unit in my experience is quite straightforward and really should work out of the box....BUT, it may be that you haven't ...
Very strange, if you have enough pressure at the skimmer box level, as you mentioned, then is a question of setting up the plate and the valve. Sometimes they do not seat properly in place and the vac...
Read moreuum is not happening. Mine is now a year old, and I had to put it on 2 as it was wearing off the rubber "tires" since it tended to climb walls a lot and the teeth of those rubber tires wear out in 8 months. Rather than that, could not tell you anything else. If the product is brand new of the box, unless is faulty then a mystery to me.Hi. Suction Cleaners will need some adjusting time to time. Please call us! Our Customer Care Team can walk through this over the phone. Our number is 1300 763 021, Thanks!
Having Huge problems with my new AX10.....tried every single adjustment to get this thing to work with my eco pump and it just wont...i can barely get up the walls....ive taken put my cartridge and made sure its clean which didnt change a thing really. I then took the cartrigde out all together to see if perhaps it was the age of the cartridge....still no change. I have my eco pump set to clean so changed it too boost with the AD valve set to 2, still its running very slowly and cant handle the walls...ive run outta options with this bloody thing...i wish id never wasted my money on it....clearly a small eco pump isnt sufficient to run it.....id lobe to hear if anyone else is in the same boat as me.
Hi Misherrell, Sorry to hear that you are having issues. May I ask if you have spoken with our Customer Care team?
I have mx8 and have already put a tune up kit in it and now it looks as though it requires a 2 nd kit plus the blue rubber propellers are melting .Whats going on .These tune up kits are a joke imagine buying a car and having to replace the gearbox every 6 months .Is it cheap chinese plastics ?
Do i buy a new cleaner ? different brand ?
Hi Wayne, Sorry mate but I have no idea about the MX8, All I can say is I have had the AX10 a while now and all I have had to do is lift out of the pool and open up to take stringy frond type leaves,...

New too pool care and bought the AX10. AX10 run well when pump was on high pressure and AD Flow valve on 2 but as soon as pressure dropped back to medium pressure AX10 stopped. We then had sand changed in filter as it needed to be changed. Put AX10 back in and same thing, worked will pump on high and AD Flow Valve on 2 and when pump decreased to medium pressure it stopped working.
Running pump on high now with AD Flow Valve on 2 and works but didn’t think was ideal for longevity of pool pump. Plus would like to run it when at work but having pressure on high from 9-5 I would imagine would be expensive as well. Any suggestions?
Hi Amy F, I had a low pressure problem, but simple solution, I had a lot of rubbish in the filter at the pump itself. I don't have pressure adjustment on my pump so it is probably running a high press...
Read moreure (I don't really know) all the time. I don't need to run the filter all day now with the AX10. I only run for 2 Hours in the morning and 2 Hours in the afternoon, so I can run on my solar power. If I had your problem I would ask the question of the pump manufacturer, Can I run on High pressure all the time or do you need a bigger pump. I hope this is of help. Regards GrantI,m thinking of buying a Zodiac AX10 but after reading those great reviews, I'm wondering if the Zodiac AM10 needs a tuneup kit, not cheap after 12 month or so like the MX8 apparently dose?

Sorry but my pool is oval so no real corners. However the way the AX10 is able to go up and down the sides which are at almost 90 degree angles to the floor makes me think it would be good with corner...
