Good formula
A2 platinum premium formula is a good formula.
But I am not happy with the shortage of this product...specially satage 2. So I would recommend to new mums, better not to start with this formula. Because if we change formulas in between it's very bad for tiny tummies. And if you ring their customer service phone no. they say your baby is fine with stage 1 for first 12 months. Then why do they have different stages ?Should have just one stage only.

just have to have it
this product is very easy to prepare. my baby boy loves this milk powder. he grows with big appetite and easy to feed. it is very hard to buy from supermarkets and pharmacies. I really hope there will be more product on the market. also it is very expensive. compare with other brand, this product is so popular, almost every friend of mine use it.

Good quality!
This baby formula is the most famous one probably because of its good quality. It is easy to prepare for babies and most babies can accept it and enjoy it. In addition, it tastes not very sweet, which is good, because babies may get too fat if the baby formula is too sweet (too many sugar maybe). Till now, baby does not have any side effects, which is good.

It is good and popular.
Babies like this kind of baby formula. But some time, it is hard to find in the market. I think they have some supply issue. Last month, I have to go 3 super market to buy one can. So I do believer the supplier need provide more formula. Thank you.

Perfect product for baby
My baby is close to 6 months now. I am planning to add A2 Platinum Premium Follow On Formula stage 2 for her. Most of my friends suggested me to use A2 product as for its dedication to good quality. As it's very difficult to get A2 products as they are often out of stock, I bought them in advance whenever they are available.

Great but can be hard to source
The formula dissolves easily in water and has a great natural milky taste, unlike some other brands on the market. My baby actually enjoys drinking it compared to other brands we've tried. Unfortunately it can be hard to source at times because of a lack of stock from supplier which is the downside to this product.

Since trying A2 Platinum follow on we have not looked back
The formula is easy to prepare and my son enjoys it as it tastes great, so many other cheaper formulas on the market really fail in comparison in performance as well as taste. I have noticed a difference in my boys sleeping patterns, he's waking less at night and he has not experienced stomach bloating or diarrohea with this product. I definitely recommend A2 follow on formula.

I love this formula
I love this formula.. It doesn't make my baby constipated, no vomiting, poos don't stink and the milk doesn't have that long life funky milk smell. It mixes well and my baby loves it. I have tried aptamil gold and it made my constipated for a week. I then tried Aldi mamia which didn't cause constipation but made poos very dark green. Love love love a2

Good formula - terrible supply
The product is good as formula goes. Baby has been on it from month 1-2.
Baby's first formula was NAN Pro-Gold; it caused much discomfort. We tried NAN comfort next - the intolerance did not improve. We put baby on A2 Stage 1. Took awhile to establish A2 as baby did not seem to like the taste. Stage 1, while low in stock was available during baby's first months.
Now baby is on A2 stage 2. Beware, once established - if you intend to follow onto Stage 2; for babies over 6-months, and Stage 3; for babies over 1-year, you should consider an...Read more
other brand. This formula is always short on supply. Retailers we spoke to often state that (a) A2 no longer produces Stage 2, or (b) that shortages are due to overseas supply that takes precedence over AU needs. Yes it is available on e-bay and it is china stock. It's disappointing that the supply issues have not been ironed out for years. Had we been aware we would have considered some other alternative. A2 keeps Stage 1 in supply to hook babies and parents onto the brand. At this stage parents should not have to reestablish a new formula as toddlers transition to solids and hopefully start sleeping through the nights. We feel that we are held to ransom by having baby on this formula. Not only is it always in short supply it is also the most expensive. Retailers who do have stock try their best to serve as many customers by limiting purchase quantities (which is helpful). But please be advised the follow on stages of this formula are not well supplied and may not be worth the aggravation for some parents. Final verdict - it's a good formula but it's not not worth the aggravation of having to change to another brand, when all is going well, due to short supply . PS: we live in Victoria. We cannot speak for supply in other states.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

So far sooo good
My baby started off with S26 gold n S26..no good..had to move on to aptamil gold which was all good for 8 months until last month. She started hating the bottle and simply throw away, screams and only take 60 ml at max in few hours
tried this after reading reviews and so far in 7 hours she has taken over 300 ml on demand..but she got constipated for 2 weeks. We have tried prunes..water..massage and every possible thing but no avail. Had to switch back to Aptamil gold and its good again.
Sorry didn't like you A2!

Awesome but there is no stock
I used to buy this from Coles for $22 (stage 3). There is no stock available anywhere no matter where I go. It has been like this for months. However, stocks are readily available from on eBay for $50 a tin targeting the Chinese market. Now I am reluctantly looking for an alternative product.

Great but low stock at the moment?
My baby's been on the Stage 1 formula since 3 months, and at 7 months we switched to this Stage 2, and its been great... EXCEPT! One month later now there are supply issues statewide (or nation wide?) and its been impossible to find a single can, even though all the Coles/Woolies around say they'll restock but they nothing comes in. Sadly for this reason I'm going to need to find a different follow on formula as its too stressful.
Besides this issue this formula is a definite 5 Stars for my little one.
Update 31/8/15: I think they're back on the shelves so I've changed it to 5 stars.

Not worth waiting
My twins have been on this formula with no problem and I choose it because stocks are generally quite good. But in recent month since going to stage 2 I found a lack of stock everyway. I have tried to write to them but not only they waited 1 week to reply when I'm desperate for more stock, in their reply they didn't provide immediate solutions to my problem or even trying to help. All they suggested is to wait. So I think no point being loyal and for those thinking of what to use for their newborn or wanting to switch please think twice about this one.

Good product, happy baby
We switched our baby to A2 Platinum Follow On Formula after trying the Nan Comfort 2 (which resulted in a cranky baby), and Bellamy's Organic (good, but he didn't drink a lot started waking during the night for extra feeds).
Baby was bringing up a bit of milk after feeds to start off with, but after a week or 2 this settled down. We do pair this formula with the BabyBiotic 0+yrs from BioCeuticals once every few days though, so that may have something to do with the milk-spews stopping. He sometimes gets a distended belly, and the pro-biotic fixes that pronto.
Overall a good product, a little pricey but when you find what works it doesn't really matter!

Great product and service
This was the first and only formula we bought for our son once he stopped breastfeeding at 8 months. We used it till he was 13 months. Poops weren't any stinker due to formula and he actually started pooping more, about 1-3 times a day. He never vomited on it (except when he had gastro). Also he loved it and would guzzle it down. When I first started using it I had a couple of questions and rung the helpline listed on the container, they were really friendly and even has a dietician call me back. Very happy with this product!

I love it and my little one as well
My little one was born premature, since my milk supply was not enough I had to use formulat to top up, I first try S26 which gave him constipation, then I switched to NAN HA Gold with non only didn't help with constipation but also made his poopies very green and smelly. The only way how he could poo was using supository. After reading good reviews about A2 formula I decided to try and it was the best decision every, my baby is not constipated anymore, his poopie sare soft and yellow.

Questions & Answers
joyce g.asked
I have just transitioned my son to stage 2 follow-on formula and he almost always never finish a bottle. He spews up and cries after feeding halfway through. There were times where he would just drink 30ml-50ml every 4 hours. So, I wait it out for 2 weeks, see how he goes. Still the same. So, I went to see our local nurse and she told me to stay on A2 stage1 as he was happy with it. Is this something you'd recommend? Or should I wait a bit longer for him to get used to it?

Is the supply for Stage 2 ok? I used the stage 1 and now move to Bellamy's as I'm so trauma with the poor supply (stage 1). If it's not a problem then I might go back again...

I have been buying this formula once a week for the past six months and only once have they been out of stock. I get it from either the chemist or supermarket, depending what is convenient at the time, and supply has always been plentiful except the one time mentioned above (the next store I went in had plenty of stock FYI).
My daughter has just turned one and we are currently moving from formula to cows milk- I've just started doing half/half in her bottles and there has been no issues so far.
Sounds good :) Thanks Sandra. So excited to finally see bub turns 1 and can grab anything. I will try to let my baby use Bellamy for a week to see whether he still struggling to poop... if so I will go.back to A2 again.
