So glad I made the switch!
My 9 week old bub was on Nan Comfort and very windy, constantly straining to poo and just generally unsettled. I had drs tell me that she was lactose intolerant (she wasn't) and that she had silent reflux (she didn't) and after reviewing A2 online I decided to give it a try. So happy with it!! After a few days bub is much more settled
Much happier and settled baby
Much more expensive than other formulas but so worth it

So glad I found this for my follow on step2 formula
Decided to use this as follow on formula to the S26 original newborn that I used the 1st 6 months (which was excellent),was not happy to continue the s26 original follow on because it was high casein/for hungry babies. My son is very sensitive to formulas we previously tried for stage 1: karicare gold newborn (wind, colic++), Novalac gold (constipation), Heinz Nurture original (bad winds/colics), Bellamys (severe constipation). I was very scared swapping him to A2 because it is a new formula and he did not have the stage 1 because there was ...Read more
none when he was born. I gradually swapped him to A2 stage 2 and immediately for 2 days his bowel motions were like a newborn baby, then he goes everyday or sometimes every second day. He burps easily, the taste seems ok, mixes alright, no issues with constipation and when I have problems its due to the heat and the solids. When my son has this A2 milk he is fine but when he has custard, or other milk products he gets bloated, windy and unwell. I was skeptic about it but I have seen his reaction to other milk products. I feel like I made the right choice, the transition was easy. I would recommended it to sensitive babies and babies sensitive to other "gold formulas". nutritional content (whey/casein), great alternative, great customer support to answer my questions, Chemist Warehouse sells it at a good price Needs to be available at more places

Very good
I have tried nan goldl, nan comfort, s26 gold, aptamil gold, and all of them left my baby constipated and very unsettled. After the first bottle of A2 he pooped, I was so happy cause he didn't do it for 4 days! Iwas really upset, cause I could see that he was in pain.Overall its really good, baby poops every day, poop doesnt stink like with other formulas, baby likes the taste and is more settle.
gentle on babies tummy
Very expensive

Love this formula!
I have tried nearly every formula, except lactose free and AR for my little boy who is now 4 months and this is the best. I first tried it when it was on special as it is expensive, but I am willing to pay the extra! My baby went from gassy and unsettled to really happy! Nutritionally it is one of the best as I have compared lots of brands! It smells great, mixes well and tastes good! It is only stocked in limited places ( Coles and my local IGA ). I emailed the company to find other sellers in the area but the customer service rep couldn't really tell me any, which was disappointing!

Good!
I was a bit scared trying this formula because i hardly saw any reviews on it and lets just say i was glad i did try it on bub. He's 11 months old and always got upset tummy and gassy after the other formula's but this one is so gentle and gives him normal bowl movements and no pain. Happy baby and a Happy mumma.
Gentle on tummies

Where to find it?
I've only seen the stage 1 on Coles and Chemist but where to get stage 2?
Hi Joan, my little one is on stage 1. you have to go to a few different Coles, my local Coles also only stock stage 1 but a 10 min drive to another there were plenty of stage 2 and 3 .
Hi Joan sorry for the late reply there are a few stage 2 in coles but i got my stage 2 in Manor lakes pharmacy. Maybe try priceline or Quality or if you have a chemist warehouse.

I have just transitioned my son to stage 2 follow-on formula and he almost always never finish a bottle. He spews up and cries after feeding halfway through. There were times where he would just drink 30ml-50ml every 4 hours. So, I wait it out for 2 weeks, see how he goes. Still the same. So, I went to see our local nurse and she told me to stay on A2 stage1 as he was happy with it. Is this something you'd recommend? Or should I wait a bit longer for him to get used to it?

Is the supply for Stage 2 ok? I used the stage 1 and now move to Bellamy's as I'm so trauma with the poor supply (stage 1). If it's not a problem then I might go back again...

I have been buying this formula once a week for the past six months and only once have they been out of stock. I get it from either the chemist or supermarket, depending what is convenient at the time, and supply has always been plentiful except the one time mentioned above (the next store I went in had plenty of stock FYI).
My daughter has just turned one and we are currently moving from formula to cows milk- I've just started doing half/half in her bottles and there has been no issues so far.
Sounds good :) Thanks Sandra. So excited to finally see bub turns 1 and can grab anything. I will try to let my baby use Bellamy for a week to see whether he still struggling to poop... if so I will go.back to A2 again.

Hi, is there any Chemist Warehouse or Pharmacy 4 Less around your area? I found that Pharmacy 4 Less' price is a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Chemist Warehouse is cheap but Pharmacy 4 Less is even cheaper. Hope this helps.
