Moved interstate with a 3 bedroom house into storage then again into our new home. Unfortunately I dealt with an employee who damaged items and said he’d replace after ‘speaking to the boss’. Took one item for said repair and promptly disappeared. Also have had several items disappear (one being a $600 oroton handbag) and was unable to have the matter resolved completely as only one item replaced and part money provided to replace item from part taken by employee. How silly I was to trust this company with my home contents.

We moved from Brisbane to Wollongong. After being very worried by the reviews of the removal industry in general we were extremely satisfied with Advance Australia Removals. Stuart and the boys worked hard to get it loaded and unloaded as quickly as possible, even moving the truck out of the way numerous times to allow other tenants to drive in and out. I had my stuff delivered recently. The packing was damaged on some of the items. Hopefully they are better inside. They would stack big things over small stuff and items labelled fragile. Plus for the stairs, they asked me extra money which I had to agree. The delivery guys came and said as the stairs were not straight, they would need more money again. They stood outside without giving my stuff until I went to bank and got them more money. It was a very stressful move. They are difficult to speak as well because their main phone does not work sometimes and they don't reply to emails. Anyways I have my stuff back, I guess all the removalists try to blackmail you once they have your stuff.

Our move was from a first floor townhouse in Brisbane to a home in Yass, a long way. The boys were great. We move often and Advance Australia Removals are the first company to wrap mattresses and cover lounges and corners of furniture. Great care was taken. Thanks boys.
