US takeover holds Australia in usual US derision by killing off 9 Australian biscuits. Now running rest into the ground

In the recent years I have been buying these, they are getting more progressively BURNT and dried out.

The last packet, which was bought by a colleague with dip for a party were so disgustingly blistered and dark brown and ROCK HARD, no-one touched them except myself - and even then it was only one to be polite.

I have advised everyone I meet to buy RITZ crackers if they want one they can enjoy.

Terrible

Arnott's started in Australia in 1847 and were once a great company with great products but no longer. I'm 70 and I've been an Arnott's biscuit eater all my life. Now the products are so small and the price so high I can't let myself be conned anymore. Yeah, the weight might be on the packets in small print but a person should be given a fair indication of the size of the contents by the size and shape of the packet. Shapes and Jatz are bland and mostly tasteless flattened little dots and squares, and Monte Carlos and Kingston etc are an embarassment to the company as far as I'm concerned. Is this the way you want your loyal customers to be treated Arnotts?

When did the pack drop from 250 grams to 225 grams?

Ruined

I was a happy Jatz eater for years and years, maybe 40. Then the yanks came along and ruined the product by making it with cheap oil instead of good quality Aussie butter. Now they taste just like Ritz crackers. Jatz are nowhere near as good as they used to be and I have not bought a packet since.

Sad.

OK

I like these crackers and usually have them in the house only because they are simple, yet satisfy my hunger. They arent too flaky, so they dont make me feel too sick if I eat a couple of them. Usually the supermarkets have them on special and then I can stock up. I wouldnt say these are the healthiest choice, but are good enough that I can eat a couple to satisfy my hunger and also not feel guilty.
These are yummy crackers to eat on their own or with a dip. I like to spread some peanut butter and eat them and if I have a couple of these, I am full.
I like the original ones. The lighter version is a bit hard and reminds me of stiff cardboard.
