No coffee flavour AT ALL

sugar monster

I purchased the Barista Bros. Double Espresso expecting an intense coffee hit as promoted on the bottle. What I got was a sickly sweet liquid devoid of any coffee flavour. One sip was too much! The rest went in the bin!

Not even if you're desperate

published

With only 1 coffee before a 10 hour shift, I thought I'd try my luck with a Double Espresso Barista Bros. Not even holding my nose while taking a sip made this product consumable. Didn't taste like coffee at all, only sugar. I would rather an international roast at the hospital than this stuff - at least it would resemble coffee flavour!

I love it.

published

Its properly not "coffee coffee", but its yummy. I know its sweet which most people don't like, but i love it for what it is.

How could it be so bad?

published

The pros are - being UHT it is a milk drink that you can buy in machines you normally wouldn't buy a milk drink. However, Coca-Cola have got absolutely everything about this wrong. The taste is unbelievably bland and dissatisfying. The texture is awful. By awful, I mean expect lumps in it. If you are from another planet, try Farmers Union or Dare first. If you want a UHT drink, try Nippy's. But avoid this and hope it gets removed from the market sooner rather than later.

Pretty Average

published

I would not recommend this drink, it tastes of UHT milk and does not particularly resemble the taste of coffee.

One sip is too much

Tastes like the 5 year old milk you used to get in those triangles on aeroplanes mixed with something resembling coffee. Wont be buying this again ever ! Going back to DARE double espresso!

Foul!

published

I was very disappointed with the taste of Barista Bros Double Espresso Iced Coffee. The main issue that i have is that it tastes like long life milk has been used or powdered milk (Yuk), not fresh cream milk. It also tasted as though it had gone off awhile ago. The coffee taste was poor, and not a double espresso. False advertising????

Well that was disappointing

published

This tastes nothing like coffee at all and more like stale chocolate wafers. Instant coffee that has been left out for 24hrs would taste better than this crap. It would probably taste more like coffee too. Good marketing but you only make the mistake of buying it once.

Eww

Has the recipe changed? the new drinks gross i threw it out after checking the expirery date. It doesn't expire for another 2 months but it tastes like it went off a while ago. change it back, I don't know why it changed the old one was better.

Yuk!

Very disappointing! Both me and my partner took one sip out of our milk and automatically checked the use by date the new milk powder or long life milk that is being used all to stretch the use by date out is revolting! CHANGE IT BACK!

Brought the ice chocolate, i pulled off the wrapping on the bottle and i came to find that the drink was expired. This isnt the first time i had an expired barista bro.

Coffee?????? Where is it

published

Bought the Double Espresso. Couldn't taste any coffee flavour what so ever. Very overpowering sweetness. Definitely will not buy again. Lots of other much better coffee flavour Iced Coffee's out there.

Bad coffee

published

This is the worst iced coffee I have ever had all I could taste was UHT milk, If you can remove this horrible flavour I think you will have a better iced coffee. Perhapes use real milk, I would most diffently try this product if I could taste the coffee and not the milk.

I recently found a bottle in my laundry & have idea how it got there as I have only lived here about 12 weeks. Neither my flat mate or I put it there & as both us always at work don't have visitors. I'm trying to figure out if maybe it was already here when we moved in, bottle has a date 19 Oct 18 wen & today is 30 Sep 18. What would be earliest date it may have been purchased?

Why did you stop making iced coffee and start mass producing an iced coffee style drink, why did you sell a boutique product to Coca-Cola? are you just a bunch of money hungry pigs, you had a great product, Coca-Cola doesn't fit your brand, shame, you had a great product till you replicated it with cheap mass produced products, why did you do that to a great product, did Coca-Cola think people wouldn't notice,. Well I guess there is now room in the market for a real iced coffee, I mite start a brand challenging your mass produced product, I bet you a billion dollars that the people who loved what your brand was not what it has become, will vote with their taste buds
