How does the Bellini air fryer bought in target for $99 compare with higher priced ones for cooking not extra gadgets? I only need a small one

I am not sure as I have never used a fancy one. We r a family of 3 and the only fault that I can find is the size
Looking at getting one as a friend has one, in fact she has two. She swears by it, not at it. No need to pay hundreds, the Bellini at $99 is all you need. I have eaten food cooked in it, tasted great.
If you are wanting it for chips. Garbage. Half of them are raw while others are overcooked.

I have rang a number of places and the best answer was if it was still in warranty take it back and they willl replace it.
Ours is just out of wantary.

I read in the reviews some people stating they cook everything even roasts. My mum would be very interested in whether the people cook by trial and error or whether they have found recipes or additional cooking instructions for food other than in the book provided. I'm not game enough to even try cooking a roast or anything not listed in book as I can't afford to waste food. My mum has tried and already wasted quite a bit of food due to not cooking properly. Due to this reason these machines don't impress me much. If anyone has any links or information or recipes they can share for cooking food in the air fryers would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I have been using the regular oven temperatures for fan forced...has been working well for me....
Personally, I never intended cooking roasts in the AirFryer. I much prefer the slow cooker. The AirFryer I have is just cheap one from Target ($99). If I was to purchase one of the 'whiz bang' ones they sell on the TV with the frying basket & rotisserie I would expect you can cook a roast.
I have only really cooked frozen foods (Chicken Kiev, Chicken Nuggets, Party Pies, Potato Gems, Frozen Fish, Filo pastries... Stuff like that). Honestly, I haven't even looked at the recipe book.
You can cook a cake in there apparently, never tried it.
Good luck, I suggest you experiment with your mums (Google search) before deciding if it's something you will use.

I've never tried cooking roast in the Air Fryer. I love using my slow cooker for roasts.
