I have used this bivy MANY times, for multiple nights from a kayak and a motorcycle. The small weight and size make it PERFECT for the light traveller!
This product, and a light weight tarp for some standing room, are all You need to get away AND survive the weather !!!!
Wind, rain, no problem. Provided You can deal with some noise (or take ear plugs) and again, have a tarp to set up some extra shelter this is amazing value. With the ropes set up correctly and the air vents open there are no issues.
In winter there can be some condensation, b...

having brought this, i have since passed it on to family. it is a great entry level item, and is most always on sale if you wait.. the main problems are weight condensation and cheep material that is designed for the ocasional camp out, also not a lot of airflow.... its better than a bivy as it keeps the material of your face... but water can get through and its not up for a summers storm.. double your investment cash and you can get so much more for your money... in saying that, i have seen many of theese at garage sales and online gumtree an...
Read mored ebay for arpund 50nto 60 bucks... at that price its a good start to get you out and about, everyone starts somewhere.... i am biased as i like lightweight and ingeniously engineered camping equipment in a more miltary or professional hiking styleThis tent is rubbish - the amount of condensation inside the tent with the main flap open or closed is ridiculous. The roof is not high enough to comfortably sleep on your side and the zippers only open from one side fully. The head and toe vents do not work. Had to dry out the inside of the tent..Lightweight is about all it has going for it.
Attracts a lot of condensation inside, you end up very wet in the morning. Zip set up is very poor and hard to use.

Having travelled and camped all over Australia in some of tge most extreme conditions by foot and motorbike i found this tent when i use it to be claustraphobic and to produce huge amounts of condensation, even with the main entrance portal wide open, ie- it even captures all condensation from your lower body and traps it in the lower portion of the tent (leg area) like nothing ive ever seen before! Amazingly light and compact though! Im heading off into the Victorian (Australia) central highlands soon and will be putting it through its paces again (without poles) with an AUSCAM tarp over head...

Sm persons tent. Needs another pole section through the middle to stop sag. Guy ropes in middle section pull the tent down further, not good. Expect to get a wet sleeping bag though condensation. Esp if you want to sleep on yr side. Easy to carry. Used in summer. Does the job.
Light weight. Low cost $120. Good emergency tent. Good for children.
NO shoulder or head room once you put a thermorest mattress in to sleep on, and a pillow of clothes under your head. My sleeping bag got wet because it touched the low roof when I turned on my side. Con...
Read moredensation was always present even though I had the flaps open. Also I got a lot of sag in the middle as the guy ropes (which are not present in any photos of the tent on line)need to anchor to something level with the height of the tent, which is not possible most times. When you do anchor the ropes to the ground, the straight line of the long section where your legs are, sags even lower, thus the tent touches yr sleeping bag and gets wet from condensation.
Okay for use in fine weather, get another type of tent if you plan on camping in wet weather where you have to zip up the tent.
Light
Only usable in fine weather. If you need to zip up the storm flap for bad weather then be prepared to suffocate! Suffers from heavy condensation inside the tent due to poor ventilation.
