Glad we got this fridge
It's well made and the dimensions were spot on for the space we were installing it at. I really like how quiet it is - seriously, I have sometimes checked to confirm that it is still on!

100% perfect fridge
Wonderful quality, spacious and well organised. It looks amazing in crystal clear white glass, and it's so easy to move if required, I love the fact that I can pull it out to clean beneath it. It runs quietly and gets amazing comments from my guests. I totally love it.

Can't beat it for quiet running
Purchased this fridge 2 1/2 months ago as our then fridge/freezer was becoming extremely noisy when starting up. So far, very impressed by how quiet this fridge is. Can barely hear it running and because it is an inverter fridge, there are no loud start-up noises apart from the very occasional refrigerant 'gurgle". It has ample space in the fridge (my previous side-by-side fridge had very narrow shelves) and the humidity control on the crisper seems to work very well, once you have worked out how to set it. Plenty of strip lighting within the f...Read more
ridge as well so items are easy to see. There is supposedly specialty lighting in the crisper to preserve fresh produce for longer, but can't really say if actually works or just a gimmick. The fridge/freezer temperature controls are integrated into the door panel, so very unobtrusive and also very easy to use. The handles are also integrated into the doors, so no messy finger marks all over the doors - provided of course you use the handles! Because the unit has a glass front, you can even write your shopping list or notes on it! It took almost 24 hours to get the freezer to the right temperature but since then it has maintained a consistent temperature in both the fridge and freezer (used a thermometer to check for about a week). When the unit was delivered one of the seals was warped and didn't fit properly on the freezer door. The Mitsubishi rep was there within a day to deliver a new seal, so excellent service from the local dealer as well. My only minor grumble, like all modern fridges, there is lots of plastic. This unit is also extremely economical to run and we have noticed a reduction in our power usage (have an app to check daily usage). The 5 year warranty on the entire unit (not just the motor) is also a good selling point. Overall, a great fridge.Purchased in June 2021 at Harvey Norman for $2,397.00.

Beat Fridge
If Mitsubishi built cars like the do fridges they would be the top selling vehicle. We purchased our fridge 18 months ago and are extremely happy with the product. If you don't buy one of these fridges then good luck with what you purchase.

Surprisingly very spacious! Don't know why they call it "Mini".
We're so happy we bought this fridge/freezer. After doing much research into getting the biggest fridge that would fit into the recess of our new home, that also had a good energy rating, we went for this beauty. Most were too tall for the recess we have.
The 5 year warranty was also one of the deciding factors. The sales rep did go into a lot of detail about how good all of the working parts and components are. I was very impressed at the time (but don't ask me to repeat it, too hard to remember all that stuff). He was actually talking about a...Read more

Awesome fridge
I'm someone who researches everything almost to the extreme before buying. Was looking for the best energy efficient fridge to fit in the space I had. This one fit well (most fridges are too tall nowadays, and I have a cupboard above), except it's quite deep, but no deeper than most newer fridges. Pretty challenging to get it in the front door because of this, but eventually got there. It's a very pretty fridge, easy to keep clean. But you can't put magnets on the front (can on the side) due to the glass doors. But, I can use it as a whiteboard...Read more
instead! I initially didn't enjoy the French doors, as previously I'd had a 700lt side by side, and had been used to that. But once you rejig how you use the space inside, put all the frequent used items on the right, and the rest on left, it's pretty good. Two things I didn't like are that I cannot adjust the heights of neither the shelves nor the tubs on the inside of the doors, and that the shelf went the whole way across the fridge, meaning that if you were able to adjust shelves, the entire width of shelf would have to alter, not just half. The other thing is that if you open the left door only, after a while it doesn't seal properly, and the fridge runs excessively. This is due to the way the doors close and seal. You have to open the right side if you want to access the left side. And you have to shut the left side before the right. Initially an issue, but you get used to it. If you don't, the seals don't sit flat and then become set in the way they sit, and so no longer seal properly. Hence putting your frequent use items on the right, so only opening one door most of the time. Not a fan of the freezer drawers initially, but now think these are awesome and it's amazing how much you can fit in them. The very best thing of all? Saving 20% on my energy usage for my entire house just by changing my fridge. Absolutely astounding! I have downloaded my usage for an equivalent amount of time the same time last year compared to this year and analysed. You do also have to get used to the fact it does not work like a normal fridge. It seems to be running a lot, but this is because it uses inverter technology. It also encourages you to organise yourself better to some extent. Would I buy it again? You bet.Purchased in January 2021.

I am disappointed at Mitsubishi Fridge
I did research and thought I bought a top fridge 2 years ago. However I now really regretted the decision.
Reasons are
1. the material Mitsubishi is using for their fridge and freezer is really sub standard as the panel/track for the drawers in the freezer broken after one and half years as well as the ice making tray
2. The ice making tray was swapped under warranty however the panel/track apparently can't fixed unless the whole fridge is changed
3. I tried to trace up the customer service again and had no answer
4. Through the process, thoug...Read more

Best Fridge value for money
Purchased this fridge and haven't been able to fault it. We particularly wanted a fridge without a cold water or ice dispenser. this is a new release from Mitsubishi in December 2018. it has a flat glass front with recessed handles, an inverter compressor, LED lighting and very good drawers for the freezer and Vegetables. Would recommend this fridge anytime

sure fire winner, japanese quality
this is the best fridge I have ever owned. It keeps constant temperature and the controls are on the outside..never had to adjust them yet, except to see what they do. i did a lot of research, read all the Whirlpool (blog site for product reviews, like this one) site.
Every review was positive and people really happy. I was going to buy an LG but had one previously, it was very noisy. The Mitsubishi is so quiet I forget its there. I dont have any negatives, other than its big..doorways are a challenge but dont care. TOTALLY 100% in love with my fridge. And its 2 years later.

Great Fridge
Love the look, style and convenience of this fridge/freezer.
One small complaint in opening and closing doors on occasion if both open at the same time, need to close one before the other so they fit properly and I often forget which comes first right or left but a minor design glitch.
Easy to use and clean and keeps food at easy to control temp winter or summer.
I would recommend this unit.

Great fridge
The old fridge had the death rattles. You know that terrible rattle the compressor makes when a fridge is old and runs almost constantly trying to keep cold...... So I wandered the internet until I only had a couple to choose from. Then I spent 5 hours in Harvey Norman comparing shelf strength, design, door weight, whether the door closes properly.... You get the idea, I studied everything. I got down to two choices then I looked for user reviews online. A lot of people said this fridge was quiet and that sounded like heaven.

Query vegetable crisper
Love my Mitsubishi L4 Grande except I find my vegetables when put in crisper(i.e. carrots, celery) are limp the next day. Have had humidity on high and low and still same result. Have also placed vegetables in left hand crispers, and same result. Any suggestions would bbe appreciated. Very quiet, easy to clean..

Its a good fridge except for one standout issue
We bought this fridge as we needed more width in a fridge, our current side by side just wasn't cutting it. We bought from Harvey Norman on special, all good. A few months after using, its a good fridge, quiet, economical, etc BUT the stainless steel doors dent REALLY easily, like the slightest tap with an object dents the panel! it seems to be quite thin. Apart from this, its a good fridge.

Inexpensive to run
Great fridge, very very quiet when running, ample room to place item on the shelves and doors, very economical to run. Has two ice trays with tray beneath to store ice, great for storing eggs, butter and cheeses, overall, a really good fridge and easy to keep clean and tidy.

Cannot fault this fridge
Purchased this fridge around 2 months ago from Harvey Norman on a good deal for close to $2000. Absolutely no complaints, appreciate how quiet the fridge is compared to our previous Westinghouse.
I've never had a Mitsubishi fridge previously so appreciated the standard 5 year warranty which gives some piece of mind.
Highly recommended.

Maybe not perfect, but pretty close
Firstly - does it do the job? Yes. It maintains a good temperature in both the fridge and freezer compartments, no excessive moisture, and the fruit/veggies stay fresh for a decent amount of time. It is also remarkably quiet, and (although I was initially not sure about the black bar in the centre of the stainless steel) it looks really good. There is no built in water dispenser (a positive in my mind as they are a pain to keep clean, take up space, and frequently need expensive filters replaced. The ice maker is manual, but does the job. It's ...Read more
made in Thailand rather than Japan, but really well put together so I am confident it will last. Issues - after 6 months only one. I've found that if you open the left door *slowly*, there is a chance that the flap that is used to seal the gap between the left & right hand side doors does not fold down completely. The result is when closing the left door, if the right door is already closed, the flap can hit the outside of the right hand side door and prevent it from closing. It doesn't happen all that often, but it does happen and I suspect could lead to the flap itself being damaged eventually. If the door is opened quickly, then the issue never happens. Other than that, no issues. Some general comments - it is the 'mini' which means I would have loved to get the extra fridge shelf space the larger version has..... but the taller fridge would not have left enough space overhead for cooling (this beastie needs 10cm - a lot more than some manufacturers) so had to go the mini. Saying so, the freezer size is the same as the larger model and the fridge compartment is still big compared to most other fridges. If you can fit the fridge in your kitchen (10 cm gap overhead, 6 cm gap behind, and 3cm either side) I'd definitely consider the bigger version. Oh, when installing, the plastic feet protectors took some time to figure out how to actually fit properly. It would also be nice if the display could show the actual temperature rather than what it is set to. I know they should be the same, but still. In short - a fantastic fridge. Highly recommended.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love this fridge
We have had this fridge for around 6 months now and even over Christmas, I still had room. We are a family of 5, who buy loads of fruit and veg. I have noticed that vegetables last so much longer in this fridge.
It is super quiet too! Would highly recommend.

Perfect for the Family!
This fridge is one of the best I've had. Firstly, I love the simple design of the fridge. The fridge always keeps the food cold and always maintains a good temperature. Fruit and vegetables stay fresh even after storing them for a couple of days which is great as it saves money! Would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Is the 60mm back clearance included in the max depth spec?
5 answers
Mine sits a total of 800 off the wall from the plaster to the face of the doors. I have it as far back as possible, but it's likely because of where my power point is that stops me from pushing it a little further back.
Support C.Mitsubishi Electric
Hi Shazzie,
No, the clearance is not included in the product dimensions, as mndmnd has suggested when plugged in should give you the 60mm clearance at the back.
Thanks, Mitsubishi Electric
Thank you. Our outlet is to the side. What is the maximum clearance required for correct operation of the fridge if we don't have to take the plug into acount?

Just bought this fridge a few weeks ago and my vegetables are going bad within a few days. Carrots are limp. Not sure what is going on

Check the humidity setting on the vegetable drawer. As a general rule of thumb, use the low-humidity setting for anything that rots easily. That means apples, pears, avocados, melons, or stone fruits. The high-humidity drawer is great for anything that wilts, think thin-skinned vegetables like asparagus or leafy vegetables like greens and fresh herbs. Perhaps have one drawer set on low and one on high and separate the veggies accordingly.
I've never had a problem and I've had the fridge for a year.
Have you changed where you've bought your veggies? I do know that some 'cheaper' suppliers such as some discount fruit and veg shops, but one is also a supermarket newer to Australia, my fruit and veg go off quite quickly, so I don't buy from there. You might pay more at Coles and woollies, but at least your food doesn't rot quickly. Just a thought if this applies to your situation.
That is strange. We've not had any problems like that.
Have you fine tuned the settings? If you read the manual fully, you'll find a section further in on getting better settings for the fridge and freezer. It is summer after all, and much hotter in Australia than most other countries. I hope that helps.
Also, you must make sure the left door is closed gently and fully, apparently if the left door is slammed, the centre flap may not seal between the two doors properly (I read that in the manual too). But, I'm not saying this is happening, just asking.
If all else fails, contact the store you purchased it from. There could be a fault. Best wishes

Recently just purchased the fridge and there seems to be soo much condensation forming. Droplets dripping off containers and food, my previous fridge did not do this. I am concerned.

I bought this fridge one month ago and do not have this problem. Have you checked the Users Guide (page 24) Check there are no gaps in the doors? Is the fridge level? Are the doors being left open frequently? It's under warranty so don't worry
