totally incompetent, they take your money but no service
4 weeks late delivering cooker and extraction fan, and they had the audacity to ask if i wanted both items delivered at the same time??????
Samsung fridge has broken down 2 times in a year.Still waiting after 3 days for a repair man to come, all the food had to be thrown out, told them that, all they could say was take photos?really.... i want my $3000 fridge fixed,how is a photo going to do that????no support just a lot of excuses.
will never buy anything from them again....not even a $1.00 item

Refreshing improvement
After being left disappointed from previous service and interactions, particularly from a South West WA regional store, I recently dealt with Cannington store, where the staff were generally helpful and delivery and price were competitive. I will always include them in future business, I think, going forward. They seem keen to win your business and back it up with reasonable delivery service

This is a store which display a variety of appliances and furniture.
A good varieties of appliances and furnitures are displayed in the store. Also customer service staff provided reasonable information to me when I asked questions. I bought two air-conditioning units from them.

Do not match the prices as they advertise
HR advise they thay beat the price as I went to Auburn store to buy refrigerator and ask for price match, they just refused by making some unacceptable excuses, eventually bought the same refrigerator from Good Guys on better service with better price . Do not buy as they do not match price and misleading the policies

A otherwise good shopping experience marred by bad delivery
Bought a Mitsubishi fridge at the Gepps Cross store in SA. Salesman was very helpful and the shopping experience was pleasant, even managed to get a few hundred dollars off the ticket price. Unfortunately things went downhill onwards. First, delivery could not be arranged until 7 days after order was placed even though I was told there was stock in the Mitsubishi local warehouse when the order was placed. 7 days is too long by any measure, especially if there is local stock. ry will happen between 4 and 6 pm on a Friday. I took things out from the old fridge and waited for the final phone call prior to arrival. I received a call at 4:30 and was told by the driver delivery could not happen because he failed to pick up the fridge from the depot of a trucking company because the depot was closed by the time he arrived. I am no insider of the logistics industry but I think unless the driver is a complete newbie, he would have anticipated the early closure of these depots on Friday afternoon and would have made suitable arrangement to avoid this from happening. Harvey Norman North Ryde were superb - bought Westinghouse French Door Fridge Freezer with flexible use drawer. Owner very helpful. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Matched competitors price after shocking experience with Appliances Online. Delivery crew were brilliant. Very happy with product. Would definitely shop there again.

While I was there, the sales lady picked up the phone and talked to the installer, and confirmed that installation will be on 1st or 2nd Jan 2020. Unethical marketing of Product Care
I was convinced to buy Product Care claiming that you can just come back within the warranty period and replace it for another product of a similar price or pay the difference for a higher value product. It seemed too good to be true. But because I was a regular at this shop, I trusted the guy and paid for it. On going through the terms and conditions at home much later, I realized that I was tricked. Searched for reviews online and realized that I should have done my research rather than just trusting someone I've had good interactions with during my earlier purchases. Feeling duped. :(

Harvey Norman do not live up to their obligations under consumer law
My recent purchase of a faulty Dyson product was very poorly handled. I tried to return the product immediately after purchase but they fobbed me off, saying it wasn’t their problem and that I would have to deal direct with Dyson in a lengthy, painful process to obtain a replacement.

ude, they attempted to fob me off again and acted like I was the most painful person in the world, but I stood my ground. I got my exchange but they were very ungracious and nasty about it. I have had faulty purchases from Harvey Norman before which have been dealt with better than this - but after 3x recent experiences it’s now enough for me that I don’t trust the quality of their stock anymore even from premium brands. I will avoid purchasing from Harvey Norman or Domayne ever again and will be happy to pay extra to shop elsewhere, I don’t care if HN has the best price.Similar opinion? Exceptional service from a knowledgable representative
Purchased a new fridge from Harvey Norman (Garden City) as the old one went just before Xmas. I had my sites set on replacing the Westinghouse with a similar model however I wasn't too sure. The sales rep (older gentlemen - very experienced) pointed me in the direction of a Mitsubishi Electric fridge, purchased and delivered within 5 days (had to be transported from NSW). VERY happy with the service and product.

Ordered Online but product SOLD before I got there for pick-up
I recently ordered a product online with next day in store pick-up. I received confirmation of the order and notification that it was ready to pick -up. I even rang the store beforehand to check the item was there for pick-up and told it was available. Since we were travelling several hours to get to the store I was a bit paranoid. With good reason. The item was not there when we arrived - it had been SOLD. Unfortunately the system that stops the last one being sold did not work on this occasion! Kudos to the salesperson who dealt with the situation professionally but Harvey Norman needs to have more reliable systems in place. Would give no stars if possible.

Terrible Service in store
Retail staff provides zero information about additional fees included in the delivery/installation of home appliances. Promised everything to be included in the price. In reality once they obtain your credit card details they ignore you forever.
Stay away from Harvey Norman.

Haier Washing Machine
Purchased a Haier washing machine a day before and it's giving error, called the manufacturer and they are Ok to get a replacement, but for that Harvey Norman Broadmeadows store needs to call them, called the store couple of times and they said they will get back to me shortly, and no one has contacted yet.

Terrible Service by Passive Aggressive Harvey Norman Staff Member
Went into Harvey Norman - Marion SA to buy a small appliance on 26.11.19. Firstly I had to wait while a clutch of staff members chatted amongst them selves. Then the young woman who "helped" was Passive Aggressive and unhelpful. Harvey Norman you need to train your staff

Fisher & Paykel Refrigerator
After many months of shopping around for what actually suited my needs I returned to Harvey Normans and purchased a Fischer & Paykel frig/freezer. It has the least kw usage this I needed because we are off grid. Wonderful sales person. Going back for a microwave next.

Never again
Absolutely appalling customer service at Armadale WA when asking for a refund. I know about their refund policy but there's a genuine reason why I asked. They would not listen to reason & I walked out with a store credit which is useless to me. Their staff need to be educated on customer service

I went in-store 3 weeks nearly 4 weeks ago now, seeking to buy a replacement filter kit for my vacuum cleaner and low and behold they sell the vacuums but when it comes to replacement filters for the electrolux they DO NOT keep them BUT they DO keep the filter sets and accessories for their other brands, bad enough but it gets worse, due to them not keeping my electrolux filter parts in stock I had to then place an order with staff to get my filters in, that was 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting to hear from them, they said my filters would be...Read more
7 days coming in or did I mistakenly hear 7 days when they meant 7 months !! Basically if you sell a product you keep some necessary parts and accessories in-store and in stock especially when I could purchase replacement filters for other brands of Vacuum's...all except the electrolux, come on people get yourself together and run your business properly and if you had be running your business correctly I wouldn't have had to come here to give you a 1 star rating, especially when I was told...we will ring you when your item arrives, i'm still waiting people how hard is it too pick up the phone and it's only coming from Melbourne which is an overnight run either boat or plane, so it shouldn't be taking this long either and if it is then you guys need to change your courier/s.Similar opinion?
