Fragility is a huge negative
I listen to music on my headphones. They worked well until one day I took them from their case and they snapped in half from the middle of the frame.
Purchased in November 2021 at ALDI for $49.00.

Pretty Good, after a while battery???
I love listening to new pop music. The bass is great and the sound is clear. The only problem is that one day I charged it and it only lasted for 10 mins before fully dying. If someone could explain why that'd also be great, but I'm pretty sad as I use them while I study.

Sanity saver for noisy office, excellent value
Other reviews I have seen under this product are for the previous iteration sold in Jan 2020 for $49.99. This appears to be a new model released in March 2020 for $79.99.
Used in open plan office to reduce distraction of ambient noise and play music. Bought as a replacement for Senn HD202IIs (not ANC) that were getting a bit loose and tattered.
Unit is comfortable, no issues with overheating or headband pressure for long sessions
Audio quality is not as good as the 202s. Not hi-fi, but that's not what I bought them for.
Sucks a bit of bottom en...Read more

Snapped in two
I actually thought for the price the headphones were ok. The sound and noise cancellation were fine. The mic not so much.
Issue the frame itself snapped in half with very little pressure. Just picked them up from the top and collapsed.
So if you want a pair you need to be extra careful with them.

Ear pads are too small and uncomfortable
I bought these headphones from Aldi thinking they were the wireless ones. They're not. They appear to be old stock if the Specials Archive - Aldi Australia is up-to-date. http://offers.kd2.org/en/au/aldi/pegbr/
That didn't bother me though. What bothered me was when I put them on for the first time and found they squashed my ears. I tried but there was no way I could make them comfortable. They would be unbearable to wear. (I'm a slim woman with fairly small ears that are on a slight angle). I'll be taking these back to Aldi for a refund. They...Read more
may suit a child or someone with very small ears. They were so uncomfortable I haven't bothered charging them, so I can't comment on their sound quality or noise-cancelling properties. I tried on Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II and found them very comfortable, but at $300 - $400 (depending on specials) they're very pricey, hence trying out these Aldi ones. Alas, no joy.Purchased in December 2021 at ALDI for $39.99.

BAUHN Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones HE170751
Another overall good Bluetooth Headphones from ALDI under $70. Good material quality and battery life. There are plenty of Chinese made products on ebay under A$70, but german manufactured HE170751 genuinely provides very high quality sound. Its worth the money.

(not noise cancelling version) Good for the price, but uncomfortable and old technology
I got this for $27. For the price, considering it's bluetooth 4.0, not so comfortable and you can't use it while it charges, it's still good. Very good build quality for the price (or even in general), pretty good microphone, good sound and so on.
You can't listen while it charges, but neither can you leave it charging. The manual says that will destroy the battery, so using the headphones becomes a chore just because of the battery.
It's also pretty small, so it's very uncomfortable to me (I have big ears). The pads are ok, but the size comp...Read more
resses my ears a lot. I knew this just by looking at the box but decided to give it a try. The microphone is surprisingly good given how far away from the mouth it is. People can hear me ok even in the wind. The sound quality is good too, but I don't care or know much about it. I will return it because I made the silly decision of buying a Kogan one and it seems that it will be impossible to return those. And at the end of the day they are similar. The Kogan one is terrible in most aspects, but the battery issue and size of the Bauhn one ends up making them both generally bad options for me (probably much better for someone with small ears).Purchased in September 2021 at ALDI for $27.00.

Bauhn Bluetooth headphones
They are brilliant for the price. They are comfortable to wear with soft ear pads and not heavy, works perfectly with all my bluetooth devices and phone mic as well. Can comfortably go about my work around the yard and housework without them falling off, just love them.

These are the real deal in terms of price, music quality is excellent and they are wireless which I love so I don't have to worry about wires getting tangled or getting in my way.

Headphones failed after three months
The sound on these headphones is ok without being good and better than I thought for such a cheap pair of headphones. I bought them to get the Bluetooth wireless connection to use on other devices. This worked ok if the source I was listening to (e.g. a TV) was stationary. It did not work so well if the source was moving (i.e. connected to my iPhone while walking) and would tend to disconnect. I have owned Bose noise cancelling headphones and Panasonic. The noise cancelling function in the Aldi headphones is inferior to these headphones. It dul...Read more
ls the noise rather than really blocking it out. The real problem with these headphones for me was that within three months the headphones would no long charge and did not work. A pity as I was hoping they might have been a cheap way of getting the Bluetooth functionality. As I was within the warranty period, ALDI were happy to refund my money but I would not buy again. For an extra hundred dollars or so it is possible to get an entry Sony noise cancelling headphone or other quality headphone. It is probably worth paying the extra money.Purchased in April 2021 at ALDI for $69.00.

Can't complain
We have only used our headphones whilst travelling on 2 long flights, recently. We were both very happy that they performed as we expected. Quite comfy to wear too. The price was great. As I said, we can't complain.

Toys useless
pointless for air travel or rail/bus, do some google searches there are good headphones out there with really long life batteries and great sound for a just a bit more, Aldi or Bauhn products are made to a price and never last be dollar wise and invest in something better.

HE170751 Cheap and works brilliantly
Having had Bose QC35s that were now playing up the choice of Aldi posed an initial concern. Hmmm $79 vs $300+ . At least i can return them...right.
Neat package with a travel case, two prong airline adapter, micro USB cable and a 3.5mm audio cable. The headphones are bluetooth, ANC and fold well into the slim zip hardshell case. Deep grey to black colour.
The fit is good and sits overear a issue not evident in any pic or on carton. The spring fit isnt overly tight either. A comfortable fit.
Pairing using the instructions is easy. A few issue...Read more
s i learned: 1. ANC must be turned on and off. The headphones can have anc on when the audio etc is off. Good for sleep on a aircraft 2. Charge time is 1 to 2 hrs using micro usb. Works well my cygnett power battery 3. Why is there a audio cable,? Not all devices are bluetooth but the most important is some airlines will not allow blutooth until level flight. Makes sense.Purchased in May 2021 at ALDI for $79.99.

For the price, these are great!
These headphones are fantastic with noise canceling. The audio quality has plenty of depth/bass but could use a bit of an improvement in the upper sounds. They definitely ARE bluetooth but are not compatible with some older devices. The headphones work just fine with my iPad and iPhone Xs Max. Also work fine on a Dell laptop. Bluetooth range is limited.

It is ok
Cheap set of wireless headphones. Sound quality is ok. Used with TV is better. When used with laptop it makes a buzzing sound in the background. The headphone turns off within a minute of inactivity which is very irritating as you have keep turning it on and adjusting the volume.

Good headphones for the price
The noise-canceling feature is very effective and the sound quality isn't the best around, but for $40 it's still pretty good. There's no Bluetooth and the cord provided is a little shorter than I like, but I was able to pickup a longer cord quite cheaply so it's an easy fix. Overall they're an pretty okay set of headphones for a very cheap price.

Trash
Don't work anymore even though they are barely used, never worked properly with constant bursts of static coming through and the headphones turning off randomly. These are some of the worst head phones i have ever used and even at this low price are a rip off. Definitely stay away!

The headband is broken how can I got one for replacement?
1 answer
hi, Hai D.
my headphone band is also been breaking, but I've put some duct tape around it so it won't fall off. I recommend doing that or using glue, e.g. hot glue / super glue. if you've done those two things, then I recommend always carrying it in the case it has come with since not carrying it in the case could be a possible reason for damage.
