Worst Customer Service
We have had BP Fuel cards for years. In November my bank sent out a new credit card offer, I accepted and started using it, when the old one closed off in January the payment didn't go through. I didn't realise until I was doing the bas only a couple of weeks after, as BP won't advise you to allow for simply rectification. Contacted them on how to update, was advised it needed to happen online. Worked out logins ect and updated details as advised on 13rh of Feb, and a few days later the cards were still not activated, so called and someone was...Read more
going to look into it. We made 6 calls to BP and online query emailed through and one call was returned. Finally, we were told to get a letter from the bank stating we had upgraded our card and that is why the payment didn't go through, we did this and scanned it through, BP responded with closing our account. We pay them nearly $2000 a month constantly and the customer service received from them was nothing short or disgusting, a simply phone call from their accounts team to advise something was amiss with a payment and we would have fixed it straight away as we did two weeks later when we realised.Similar opinion? Profiteering on basic supplies
I went to fill fuel today March 20th at the BP on Newbridge road at Chipping Norton in Sydney but also needed to get 1 x box of tissues. So i took 1 x box to the counter to be told $5.50.
If you go to Coles (which I did later) they’re $2.50. WOOLWORTHS, office works, ALDI, IGA and most retailers are roughly $2.50... how can BP justify the price . It’s hard enough to cope with the stupidity of people hoarding to make profit but a major corporation that makes $millions of fuel have to rip off its customers. I think it’s time I took my business elsewhere. Obviously BP don’t value their regulars. I’ve used Bp for over 35 years... no more...

False advertising
The 2 BPs at Blacksoil Qld DO NOT advertise the price of Unleaded fuel. Only E10, diesel & gas. This is WRONG - they make E10 competitive but the basic unleaded is always much more expensive than other servos - BUT you cannot know this until you drive to the bowser. Do yourself a favour & avoid this underhanded rip-off.
BP - put the price of unleaded on the advertising screen & stop acting like a snake in the grass!!!!

BP Plus Business Account - Appalling Customer Service and Management
A double payment was made on account for months emails and calls made no reply the. They locked our account without warning as amount was outstanding even though we were not given statements or invoices showing credits applied or responses to any emails requesting above. Paid balance outstanding again despite no return emails or calls 2 months later account still locked and have been asking for payout to close and leave BP still waiting after months. Ask to have call escalated but accounts team refuses. Worst experience I have ever had in terms of customer service.
Go with another organisation like Fleet are BP are absolutely useless and painful to deal with!

Pushing trucks away
Bp you built a brand new service station in Delacombe and closed the one in Latrobe st. The area you have is at least twice the size Latrobe st and yet you manage to completely stuff up the design. How do you get a B double in ???? Latrobe st was easy access for all vehicles. And for any other trucks entering off the Glenelg hwy where do we get out ?? As there's no exit to Wiltshire lane for trucks . Cars can use MacDonalds exit. This is the 3rd bp service station you have messed up the one on Rubicon st ballarat and the one in Bunninyong. ...Read more
So here's a fact . We spend over $100,000 dollars a year on fuel for just 1of our vehicles and talking to several other company's are of the same opinion. I have now decided it's time to move on after 23 years I'm cutting up my bp cards for all vehicles and will be choosing Caltex from now on .Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
BP Epping/BP Truganina Truck Parking or lack of!
BP Epping and BP Truganina are chock full of local trucks taking up every available space. These local trucks are parking overnight/weekends and also leaving there cars onsite when they start work in the mornings. This is beyond a joke and has got worse because the staff here will say nothing!
I am currently at Truganina and out of the seven available parks outside the gated area I am the only interstate registered vehicle here! All the rest are local trucks who have knocked off for the day!
Please do something about this issue.
Regards

BP Ultimate 98
I do about 3 to 4 return long drives from adelaide to sydney in a year, and i find that this fuel is just perfect for economy and power to my MY13 four cylinder turbo engine, and the engines performs at peak and is very smooth.
For a long roadtrip try BP Ultimate 98 its well worth it.

BP Fairy Meadow!!!
Filled up here and my car broke down the next day. Got towed to mechanic and it was deemed for fuel contamination. Extremely disgusting service from the manager who works here, no show of effort or sympathy towards the customer. Also denies there at fault. Even with mechanic papers and bank statements of purchase. Absolutely putrid.

BP Bulla I’m a local too!
I always try to support the local BP in my area however I have e had several bad experiences in the past with people blocking access to the pump to buy Hungry Jacks or newspapers. Today I pulled in with no spare petrol only to be blocked by three locals buying papers etc and one who was using the pay phone!

Slow flow rate at the pumps
The petrol flow rate at BP Baulkham Hills is rediculously SLOW.
I don't believe this is for safety reasons but to make you take longer at the pump and be subjected to the stupid advertising videos.

New BP app not competitive at all
It would be good if you could link the velocity card to new BP app to get reward points, Caltex app does the same but gives you 6 cents per ltr off as you can link the everyday rewards card with caltex app, but not BP, they want to get every cent they can from the customer

WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH
Signed up for BP fleet account BIG MISTAKE!! took the BP Professionals over 2 months to contact me back with regards to issues with the portal. I was set up with an account, never got a phone call to run me through anything was expected to figure it all out on my own, in the end I sent over 40 emails and messages advising their portal doesn't work and set up correctly. No one ever knew what was happening when I called, said they would have someone call me back NEVER HAPPENED!!
3 months later some teenager called me and said the account is close...Read more

Sold contaminated diesel and denies all liability
My XTrail was out of action for a week until my specialist Nissan mechanic found rusty water in the fuel tank and filter after I had filled up and the car wouldn't start. I contacted BP, completed all the paperwork they required, sent receipts and mechanic's report, waited 2 weeks and was then told they don't sell contaminated fuel and they had run tests at the servo where I purchased it. They have denied my claim. I'm really upset as the email they sent sounds like all the other "standard" denials you read about that other affected people receive too.
I'm one of the more fortunate ones that didn't suffer massive engine damage but it just seems like if you're an ordinary person taking on a very large company, you're doomed from the start.

Servo toilets have been closed by management, which I can't believe and not sure it is even legal for them not to have any facilities on the site, last time I get fuel there!

A brand new drive through carwash that leaves the paintwork on your car dirty!
Today I tried the brand new refurbished carwash at the BP service station at Dundas NSW 2117. I had been awaiting the carwash's reopening as I live close by. The prices have been increased making it considerably more expensive than others. But I was willing to pay thinking this new machine will do a great job.
I was wrong. The bonnet, roof and boot of my white sedan was left with noticeable dirt and grime over the entirety of the surfaces.
When I returned to complain the attendant came out and inspected the car and agreed there was a problem. ...Read more

Horrible
I am writing to let you know about the misconduct I went through this afternoon (31/10/2019) between 6 - 6:30 pm at the BP petrol station located at the junction of Oaks and Aiken roads, west pennant hills.
I had missed my debit card and had no money with me and had already filled up. When I asked the man behind the counter to help me what to do he said to me "is this your second time you are coming with no money?" I said no and he said to me you cannot go until you leave your mobile phone here with me. I tried to pay by mobile phone but the i...Read more

Discrimination BP
Today Tuesday 2 October 2022, I pulled into a BP services station situated on the CRN Cornwell St & Cleveland at Stones Corner Brisbane to fuel my car up. Not complaining about the high price I chose to fuel up with 98 octane ... Whilst I was half through fueling up the pump stopped.. maybe it run out i figured until the console operator came out and said he turned the pump off and wanted me to pre pay the fuel.... The time was 4pm in the afternoon > of course V asked why? his reply was because your car is registered in another state.. whats...Read more
that got to do with it, I said ? Its our policy the console operator said. are you kidding me mate ? who's policy ? BP policy he said.... he took the pump out of my car and asked me to pay... Whilst I was getting my money out of the car.. I could not contain my verbal outrage, being discriminated against fueling up due to Victorian number plates... All the more galling when I have liven in close proximity of this servo for 15 years, using it many times... I decided to pay cash.. The Guy then said i can contact head office to lodge my complaint dialed some number that did not even pick up.... What a load of sh#t, Unbelievable that any servo would have a policy like this.. I'm onto BP Australia now with my complaintSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Nerang BP Disgusting Service
Disgusting Service at BP Nerang. Don't even bother going there as there are other service stations in the area that have cheaper prices and better service. At $1.98 for 98 it is only going to be the service that gets you through it. But not here.

BP at St Peters in Sydney are dishonest
I purchased 2 car washes that are valid for usage for 1 month. I used the first the day I purchased the tickets and went to use the second wash 3 weeks later.
The second code did not work.
I spoke to the people in the garage, they said they would not give me a wash, they claim the second code was used 3 days after the first.
Not a chance. They are dishonest, I will not use BP again.

Why would the attendant at the logic centre near wodonga want me to move my car so it was facing the shop? I had been waiting for 10 minutes for a pump with diesel to come available on one side and the gave up and reversed into one on the other side because there was no sign of the other drivers returning. Thoughts?

I went to the BP outlet at Dural where the price was $1.579 per litre. I found this ridiculous. So I checked the prices nearest to me and found BP at Aiken Rd, West Pennant Hills and North Rocks at $1.349. This reflected a difference of 23c per litre or $13.80 on a 60 litre tank. Yet these outlets are within kilometres of each other. I do not know of any other sector where the same company has such differentials in prices.
Please explain these differences. If no reply received by 12h00 on 15 September this matter will be pursued through the ACCC
