Hi,
I have been using the Australia Post Load&Go Reloadable Visa Prepaid for over five years and it has been perfect for my needs.

I now understand that it is being discontinued and I will need to replace it with the Mastercard. I have been checking out the reviews and the complaint from most users is the same: The Visa Load&Go was great but this Mastercard replacement is terrible.

So, how it is possible for something that worked so well and had happy customers to be now replaced with something that is not good and is causing so many problems? If it ain't broke ........

Why is the Australia Post Visa Prepaid being discontinued?

I would appreciate a real answer. Please do not give me the some standard marketing spiel. I am now trying to search a replacement and the reviews of the Mastercard are worrying.

Has Australia Post any interest in the feedback that has been offered by customers here? If they took it on board, they would realise that they have traded a good business option for one that is a dud.

As stated in my original post, the Load & Go has been perfect for the reason why I use a pre-paid card.

My Load & Go card expires in March and unless Australia Post decides to bring back the same card in the next two months (and with it all the previous customers), I will have to check elsewhere for a replacement. I don't need any other benefits to a pre-paid card. I have my regular credit card for that.

I purchased a everyday auspost master card which didn't come with a pin number on the peel back tag. After a number of phone calls trying to get a pin number with out success I then spent 2hours at the post office while the staff member try a number of help lines again no success she then contacted a manager and got the ok to cancel the card and give me a new one. The problem now is the old card is still registered and I can't register my new card .How do I cancel my old card registration??

Sorry but no good ringing 1800 549 718 that's the number I rang trying to get my pin number I was transferred 6 times each time I was asked for my details so they could check my account then got cut off. To top it off I then had a call from a over seas number which I didn't answer also a email when I checked it came from the USA

I have a new Australia Post everyday master card and the PIN i have been trying to use is denied. I have gone on to the customer service and it just gives me the same number which is denied. how can I change the pin number

Hi if you go online and log into Aust Post Every Mastercard (I go to manage your card Australia post and or use the app), click on Account Settings, scroll down to ' Reveal my pin'and then put in your 16 digit card number followed by 3 digit security code then Mothers maiden name and lastly date of birth ( day and month only ... push next and your pin dedicated to your card will be revealed. It sounds long winded but its not ... its just basic stuff really. All the best PS have you activated your card? i guess if the number revealed is the same number you have then i would take it back to Australia Post ... I would love to change my pin number as well but have been advised to ring customer service which is long winded ... i wish you could change it online or at ATM.

I have been in touch with customer service and I get the same pin which is denied when I try to use it. Last week I talked to someone whom I had trouble understanding but eventually got the pin number which as I said has been denied on the four occasions I have tried to use it. I tried again today and was talked to by a machine with the same result. How am I going to be able to get access to my money. We are going to NZ on Saturday and I have NZ dollars on this card. I have used the card on pay wave. I can access the account to see what is my balance.

Is it possible that payments to Indian service providers have been blocked on my everyday mastercard. I works ok with other purchases, but when i try to order a book via abebooks from an indian supplier, it is rejected.

i was using the card fine without activating it, now that iv spent like $300 on it i cannot spend any more money, i cannot activate it, i cannot add it to my paypal account. there is still like $100 on the card and now i cant use it

Can I change my pin number on the Everyday Mastercard? I know that a debit card can be changed at an ATM, can a prepaid be changed? So far Ive had no hassels with card other than trying to work out how to change the pin. App works well though a little tricky to set up but not difficult just a little time consuming ... all good otherwise.

stupid login does not recognition my password and keeps asking for my mothers maiden name

Yes. I'm helping someone who ever since getting the card the settings have not been accessible and for me to transfer funds to the account I need to know the account numbers etc. This is on the PC. He can see his account balance etc. but just can't get to settings.

This is quite concerning but I'd like to help! Can you tell me what's happened? You were scammed but they continue to take money out? If you've been scammed you can certainly use that address you provided but I am unsure of what the turn around is.

Thanks Priscila,i have already contacted a customer service rep and filled out the dispute claim form but i was told to wait for 30 days after the date of transaction, before that they can not file first presentment.
The problem is these fake websites send some cheap stuff in name of branded things (buyer pays for Genuine items) and send their acquirer (Merchant'bank) all the false evidence of sending items to buyer.and i am pretty sure this is gonna happen with me .Any websites associated with this contact email "@customerservicesglobal.com" is fake

Hi Stephen. I agree its not good (see review) but just ion trying to help you a bit and to always start with the basics (101). For the online login of the Card Number you have 16 numbers in total on your card and for the login you only need to enter the first 4 numbers (of the 16) then the first 2 numbers of the second 4 and then the last 4 (of the 16). Be patient as I found it is a slow login - double check your email and password - this system will either not bring up the correct error OR will show nothing at all. Also if still nothing happens and you have Virus software - try turning that off as I had an issue with it blocking the login. If that fails call the Contact Centre. Response time was fairly quick BUT you might get a very good operator or a not so good. If they sound vague then ask to speak to a Team Leader. The TL I spoke to was excellent.
