Typical con artist running a well organised scam
They plant their own people in the crowd to put fake bids to raise the price on junk items.
The best example is to bid 85 dollar coffee machine when you can buy them for 50 at any super market.

Liars, dishonest and crap, beware you going to lose money and time there
They do not allow a proper inspection of the items, they wrongly described and they give you a piece of paper saying they are excluding their liability once the item is sold.
Do not use them you will lose money.

Some items are good, but they pass off alot of junk at above market prices, don't get caught up
[name removed] has much experience as an auctioneer but unfortunately, like Darth Vader this skill is not always used for the good of the bidders. Numerous times I've ended up with overpriced junk items due to [name removed] happily INCREASING my bid price, when there are multiple bids at a price level- stand up for yourself if [name removed] increases your bid when that was not your intention, be vocal- when [name removed] decides to increase your bid above your intended price, he's not doing this for your benefit, it's to increase revenues fo...Read more
r his auction house. You have been warned... Also I should mention that after the auction, the admin area are very happy to short change you- always check any deposit they return after the price of items. Last time one of the females tried to short change me $50, she apologised but only after I asked her to explain the change she returned. Not a pleasant experience.Similar opinion? Great Service & Great Prices
I have bought at Breen Auctions on numerous occassions and never had a problem. You can view the items the day before the Auction or even on the morning of the Auction before it starts, They have facilities so that we can check the items (which I make sure I always do) So if you are too lazy to check them and then get stuck with a damaged computer the blame is entirely on the buyer. They always read out the Terms & Conditions and they are on the website as well. I suggest you be more careful and not so lazy next time

faulty laptop
On Tuesday 8 April 2014 I bought a Toshiba laptop from Breen's auction group (Footscray) for $200. Charged laptop at home and discovered it has a smashed internal screen and is unusable. A phone call to Breen resulted in him saying he could do nothing about it. I have essentially bought an expensive piece of useless plastic.
Surely auctioneers have a duty of care to describe goods AND condition
