Should the cooker make a clicking sound every few minutes? Just kind of sounds like a timer coming on or off? Also my food wasn’t very warm after being on the keep warm setting for 2hrs…?

This cooker clicks throughout the whole cook. Is this normal? No other slow cooker I've had does this. Its really annoying!

Never heard a click from mine?

Mine doesn't click either, maybe it is a fault and you should take it back to place of purchase.

Mine was clicking too - throughout the whole slow cook for about 6.5 hours!

I called Breville and they confirmed that the clicking should not happen and to get it swapped so I suppose you should too.

I tried to sear my meat on the highest sear function and after 15 minutes it had barely browned, actually it started to stew. Just not hot enough. I then changed the function to slow cook function and after 6 hours the meat (gravy beef) is not slow cooked properly, looks as though it needs another 6 hours! It ticks constantly which is the machine maintaining temperature. Am I doing something wrong or have I just wasted $135.
