Happy to have changed to a Canon
We purchased this printer about 6 weeks ago and have been quite happy with it so far.
On the plus side the print quality is quite good, speed is excellent and had no problems setting it up for use with a Mac and a PC. Have used the scan function with no problems at all. Nil paper jams or reliability issues so far.
This is our first Canon printer and so far it is much better than the previous three HP printers we have owned. The HP was slow to print, regularly had software issues and churned through the ink cartridges. We have used the C...Read more
anon quite heavily at home and just changed the cartridges. Others have complained that the Canon uses too much ink, but I don't know that it is any worse than a HP printer and price wise the Canon cartridges are slightly cheaper.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Does the job every time
When it comes to home printers, I've been a Canon fan for years.
The MB2060 multi-function wireless has been in our house for 3yrs now and never skipped a beat.
The scanner and copier is excellent quality. Printing is a breeze, whether direct from my computer or from another device in the house.
Speed is right up there with the best in home printing.
Replacement cartridges are reasonably priced, especially when you opt for the larger "high yield" value pack inks.
(Colour ink is more expensive regardless of what printer you have, so we jus...Read more

Worst printer I have ever Had
I have had this printer for two months, about to throw in the bin. I cost me $150 and I have spent $300 in ink. Cant print more than 20 pages without running out of one of the ink colours. This is quite disgraceful it isn't about the product anymore just the expensive Ink.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PURCHASE THIS PRINTER
Unless you would like a really expensive paper holder.
This printer has all the bells and whistles to make it appear to be a great all rounder printer for home or small office, but it has two MAJOR flaws; 1. The wake-up/warm-up time can be anywhere from 5-10 minutes. 2. THE PRINTER MUST NEVER BE OUT OF INK, this printer has 4 slots for specialized ink cartridges (3 colour and 1 black) if you run out of any of the cartridges the printer will become completely DISABLED. I recently ran out of yellow ink and the printer completely stut down, it wo...Read more

Uses too much ink
This printer uses enormous amounts of ink. I suspect it wastes a lot of ink on cleaning cycles. Since we replaced all 4 ink cartridges ( 3 months ago) we have printed approx 50 colour pages. 2 of the inks are now empty and the other 2 are near empty. On current consumption that means it is costing approx $5 per page in ink.

Very good price for the printer considering its price.
I have used this printer for about half a year. It is not a bad printer at all, it prints quite quickly for an inkjet printer but for colour document and photo printing it uses more Magenta ink than a lot of other printers. Using refill and third party ink tends to produce mixed result. The original canon cartridges seems to have gloss optimiser mix into the ink thus is able to produce extremely good result on glossy photo paper for photo printing. I used inkstation cartridge . Their ink cartridges seems to be unable to produce great resu...Read more
lt with photo printing on glossy paper, skin tone colour is completely off with heavy green biase, You have people look like the Jim Carey character in the mask. I went through a lot of process in re-profile my ink and paper and none of them could have fix this problem until I swap out the glossy paper with Matte paper. That fixed all the problem I have with photo printing. I have several other more expensive printers on hand, most of them are around 4 to 8 time the price of this printer. This printer was never comparable in print quality to Canon Pixma Pro-100, Canon IPF5100 and Epson SC-P600, but one advantage this printer does have over to the other printers is its printer speed, it is only marginally slower than my IPF5100 which use 12 cartridges. I am satisfied with the general reliability of the unit and never had a paper jam with any paper I fed to the printer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Thirstiest printer out!!
I am appalled with how much ink this printer uses! Got 7 years out of a HP- never missed a beat! My local Officeworks store only stocks Canon cartridges which cost a fortune. Won't scan to our Macs... Print quality in colour is average at best. Just awful. Really, really disappointed!

Won't bloody scan!!!!
I cannot scan to my computer!! Either via wifi or hard wired to the Mac. It keeps telling me that wires are disconnected but I promise you that they are. I have read the instructions numerous times and I'm ready to throw it out the window. most useless piece of junk I have ever purchased. Stay away people.......

Will never buy a Canon printer again.
I have always bought Canon printers, but the Maxify was quite possibly the worst printer (and product) I have ever bought. This is designed with Canon in mind, not the user. Can't remove cartridges when you want, fax not compatible with Mac, mindless printing of reports when faxing a busy number. To top it off, it lasted less than a year before the print head gave up. And I don't print heavily. Even though it's still under warranty, I can't be bothered trying to get a new one, I dislike it so much. Never again!!!!!!

Terrible, can't print anything
The printer drives me crazy, it can print one day over wifi and then another day it has no connectivity and can't print. Only to find it printing a week later after and I don't need it anymore. I regret buying this. There's no where to show how to Print in detail and I'm good with computers.. Its really just frustrating!..

Canon Maxify MB2360
I purchased this printer with a cashback offer attached. The procedure was seamless and Canon reimbursed me very quickly.
The printer operates very well and is reliable. The multiple page scanning option is a bonus for the price. The printing quality is excellent and I like the wi-fi option so it can be used on muliple computers. Perfect for the home office and easy to operate.

Do yourself a favour and choose something else
The salesman at Officeworks convinced me that this hunk of a machine was great and was more economical on ink than other machines.
Some considerations when buying:
It uses a lot of ink and it's expensive ink.
There is no 'draft' print option.
It remembers the last print choice - so if you previously chose 30 copies, it will automatically print 30 copies unless you change it!
There is no SD card slot (despite it saying there is on the overview).
I'm still trying to work out how to scan.
It's big!

i would like to know why my printer won't print.. some paper got stuck.. I fixed it.. it said the magenta ink needed replacing.. I replaced it... now it won't print at all... and I have gone and bought a whole lot of spare ink cartridges... so I don't want to have to replace it... also... the reviews above are mostly negative... so I am reluctant to buy a replacement one
