They arrived at the pick up location on time and came slightly late to the drop off location, but I was informed of traffic so this was no problem. However, there were several hidden fees like the time it took to find the pick up location and the use of a trolley (which they didn’t use after i had paid an extra $20), too expensive but got the job done at least.

* 2 bedroom town house.
* Short distance : 30 min away.
* Yes they started and finished on time.
They were very professional and obliged to all our request. Fixed all items back.
I highly recommend them.

Boota and Guri in Truck no. HGT23 were great. They were Polite and friendly but also got straight into the work without wasting time.

They respond well to being treated with respect, as we all do.

At first, CBD cancelled/rescheduled a couple of times because their trucks broke down, which was inconvenient. However, as Guri and Boota had a good attitude, were professional and efficient and did a great job, they changed my opinion of CBD.

They were lovely and got the job done efficiently and so I recommend hiring Boota and Guri for your move.

I wish I'd seen these reviews before I engaged CBD. Truck had insufficient space for the move, the lads (clearly NOT trained in the art of moving) took so long to load anything that my son and I moved the last of my furniture and boxes ourselves. They had no trolley, no blankets to wrap anything in, refused to take my TV, complained bitterly about the heat and the stairs, wanted to be paid before the job was complete. The lads could not problem solve. All too late it became obvious they had no clue what they were doing. Ruined my new leather lounge and will not pay for repairs or damages. Everything I packed survived, everything they touched was scratched or dented. I moved 1km, but cost me $900.

The Worst Service Experience I've had do not book in this company.
4 chairs a mirror and a side table is all I had to move 40 minutes away. To get the job they were great. So many follow up phone calls emails and sms. That went horribly wrong. They were booked between 9 and 12. I was given a time of 10.30 to 11.30 on the day. 6 phone calls to the call centre in India promising they were always 30 minutes away and still a no show. At 4pm when I rang a last time to cancel. 10 minutes later the driver finally rang to say he was there. Of course we had left the property by then after waiting from 8am. Wasted the whole day for 2 people each waiting at the pick up and delivery addresses. The absolute worst service. Dodgyville Pty Ltd

I had made a booking with CBD movers to move some furniture from my old house in Preston to new house (in Preston too, just a km apart) for 2 BHK house. This was my third booking wth CBD movers and I know the movers tend to waste time but I cannot oversee this experience. They were unreasonably slow, lazy and taking smoke breaks. To drive a km they were probably moving @ 10km/hr and took their own sweet time. When confronted the guys were extremely unprofessional and said that this is how they work.
To top everything off, they damaged the entrance wall of my newly constructed apartment.

On seeking help from customer support, they told us that since we have hurried them during transfer they ended up doing the damage and they are not liable.

They arrived late, were very slow. Took 25 minutes to do the 10 minute drive between locations.
Then insisted that the EFTPOS machine wasn't working and made me get cash out. Charged me for an extra hour and then when a different amount was on the invoice emailed to me, I queried with "customer service" who took almost a month to get back to me. They have refused to refund me the overcharged amount and have been terrible in terms of service.

The movers came 2 hours late to move a one bedroom apartment which required lift access, charged 4x the quoted amount and damaged my furniture. My building manager said that on the camera they could see they were just standing around talking on the phone. I have never left a bad review but wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I went through.

They have no idea how to move furniture- no packing of your stuff.Turned up late, as said in another review they stunk had to use air freshener.Too slow trying to milk for more money.

I hate liars it’s not the Australian way!! Trust in business is number one.I notice 500 5 star reviews and bout 500 1 star !! Always suspect in my view more lies!!
Always the same crap response from the company when challenged.This company won’t be in business if they continue consumer affairs need to investigate.

Turned up in too small a truck necessitating 2 trips. Damaged my stuff. After first trip went away and didn’t return. Don’t touch these movers - for pocket and blood pressure

When booking, sales staff made out like it would only take a couple of hours at $120/hr (all furniture in a storage unit going to a house about a 5 minute drive away). Was told that if it went over into the next hour, would only be charged per half hour. All sounded good as I thought I would pay at the end and they would be professional about moving. Nope, slow and unsure. Straight up asked for payment and then spoke to each other in a different language and came up with an imaginary amount of $480 (??!!??) I had to pay this and he wanted cash and then made a big deal not to tell the company it was this much. Shameful and I feel so ripped off. I couldn't afford this and there was nothing I could do

Think maybe guys have changed because the 2 that came out to me were great! Highly recommend! Guys were respectful, quick but careful, reasonably priced and truck was huge! Would use again! No issues at all.
