Good in small spaces

published

While son (now 2.5)was young it did what I wanted in our small furnished appartment - a safe raised surface to change him on that I could fold up and move easily. Originally well under $100. Just talked to Childcare's friendly customer service and bought a replacement change mat for $16.50. The top changemat did split at just over a year, starting from the joins. My son was average weight but a wriggler and difficult to stop from standing/bouncing. Child care doesn't recommend past 12 months though.
easy to move and clean, reasonable price, shelf at the bottom and side, stable
only recommended for babies <12 months, the plasic mat gradually split at the join points after this until it was unusable

Good

If you are short on space this is the change table to get, plus it is priced reasonably, I think I picked mine up for around $80.
I looked at the styles that have draws and baths but chose this one because you can fold it and store it in a cupboard when you have finished with it. I didn't want to have all this extra furniture when the baby had grown and have no where to store it. It's light so you can move it to another room should you need to. Towel rail is a good feature. The safety strap comes in handy plus it's easy to wipe clean.
It stands wider then I thought and the storage trays could be deeper.

What is the baby weight limit that this change table can take? Our daughter is already 7 months old.

Wouldn't bother as company only recommends up to 12 months and once baby is mobile, it's safer to change her on a towel on the floor, the bed or even a table. There are also change table mats like they use at childcare centres.

Hi. Just wondering where I could buy a replacement mat for my Child care change table? I live in Sydney.

Order it from the customer service nunber. Google Childcare and find the phone number.
You'll need the model number and a credit card to cover postage and handling and the change mat.
Good Luck
