Hello. I have had 6 days of flashing smiley face. Then straight to blank circle. Why is this. And if I am not hitting peak does that mean I dont ovulate. Am very confused. I dont understand how it can build up all these high fertility days and then not even show a peak.

Please can someone help me, I took a clear blue ovulation test and it’s a smile face (peak) however with the same Pot I got a low reading on my strip ovulation test. Does these mean I’m ovulating or close too?

Yes the smile face that is still is peak time the most important time. If its flashing it means peak is on its way x

Has anyone ever gotten a blinking smiley face, then a circle the next day, then the following day another blinking smiley face?

Becky K.
Becky K. ·

Yes I've had that a few times i means you haven't hit peak .. or the hormones not high enough to detect x x

It does that at times for me also. Sometimes if your pee is too diluted or there isn’t enough pee it will be a false negative. If you have a solid smile face you are at peak if it shows blank before it’s most likely because you didn’t hold your pee long enough. They say you should go four hours without peeing before testing but not to use the pee first thing in the morning. I had blank circles then solid face I tested with different test and all showed peak the times I had a blank circle I was only going an hour without peeing and very little was coming out. After the solid face I checked my cervix and I was def ovulating had the cm and cervix was very high soft and open . Now I have blank circle still some cm but cervix isn’t as soft as it was yesterday . If you aren’t sure about the tests when it does that just confirm the test with checking your cervix once you do that enough you def can tell the difference

So I had an ovulation kit, but only had 3 more sticks to test so I went and bought another ovulation kit. I had 18 days of flashing smiley ☺ but my periods are weird, not your normal 14 days cycle mine are longer 35 to 40 days. I decided to test with both tests. 1 give a flashing smiley ☺ and the other was a steady smiley ☺ has this happened to anyone else? Am I at my peak? Or getting there in so confused.

Morning, I have just started using clear blue ovulation test, I got a few non smileys then a solid smiley but it did not stay on the screen, it’s disappeared, does this mean it is faulty ?

Becky K.
Becky K. ·

No normal stays for 8 minutes x

Sepideh D.
Sepideh D. ·

Becky is correct. Because you got a smiley face, if you eject and put it back in again, you will still see the smiley face.

So I have gotten a flashing smiley face, but at the same time I also got positive pregnancy tests I'm very confused.. has anyone had this happen and what it means ???

Jessica B.
Jessica B. ·

Ovulation kits only pick up levels of LH, which are present with a pregnancy. Why are you even testing ovulation if you’re pregnant??

So I took an ovulation test and it came back saying I wasn’t ovulating and with a blank circle and then when I took it out the device it had one faint line and one dark line and I’m not sure what those mean

So if anyone could help that would be great

I have been using this for months and never get that I'm ovulating. But this month I keep getting the same...only a blank circle but 2 lines that are almost the same color on the stick. I never had that before so I'm not sure what is going on.

It works perfectly every month i ovulate on time

I have the same issue. Blank circle. But one faint line and one thick line when I remove the stick... did you end up finding out what it means?

Shannon D.
Shannon D. ·

The faint line is always there as you always have LH levels when the two lines are same darkness is when it’s positive for the LH surge and you ovulate 12-48 hours after that

Same... and it's been one week already and still no smile face...

I got the flashing smiley two mornings in a row then on the third I got low fertility. Did I miss the peak by not testing in the afternoon as well ? I’ve seen very mixed reviews and can’t really find an answer.

So I tested yesterday morning and it was negative, I tested today and I got a non flashing smiley face. Yesterday I dipped the test in urine and today I Placed it under the urine stream. Can you miss high fertility days?

The first test is always a blank smiley so the test can get your baseline xx

Hi I got a flashing smiliey face this morning but a negative in another strip test and tgen tonight I did 2 more strip tests and negative why? Was the digital false?

Candy F.
Candy F. ·

The digital detects estrogen and LH.
Estrogen rises before the LH so the blinking smiley will appear with a surge in estrogen. Then a solid smiley face will indicate LH surge.

Test strips ONLY react to an LH surge not to estrogen rise. This is why they're negative.
You are at the start of your fertile window when you see a flashing smiley on the digital. Keep testing every day until you get a solid smiley face which indicates your LH surge and means you're ovulating within 12-36 hours. At this point your test strips should also turn positive.
Hope that makes sense

I got a very clear surge on my LH test strip on the 8th but a blank circle on my Clear blue. Now when I get a neg on my strip tests I am getting Flashing smiley for last 3 days. I had my peak (static smiley) on 13th last month and period started 26th. So which should I trust for my fertile window? :-/

Me too! They’re darker today! I took one a few days ago and the second line was a little faint

Actually I Reccomended everyone read the following for a better understanding on how tests are designed to work and this should help with the confusion on the instructions and also in general.

Lauren.as

The same thing happens on every test positive or negative. It says to disregard the lines on the test when removed. I thought the same thing at first when I saw it, but I wasn't ovulating or pregnant at the time. Good luck!

Hello
I woke up at 4 in the morning because I had to go bad, I collected a urine sample but I haven’t tested because it’s too early. What should I do? Can I test again later this morning if the first urine was to early?

My digital clear test is showing the flashing smiley face for 5 days, is that right or am I doing something wrong. Will I see the flat smiley face?

Hi

I’ve taken 2 clear blue ovulation digital tests both had come up with 2 blue lines on them as that’s all I had at the time

But with them 1 came up with no digital face but the stick that I took out came up with 2 blue lines

The other one I took shown a circle ⭕️ on it but when I took the stick out it came up with 2 blue lines

I have taken 2 normal pregnancy tests but they came up negative. Please advise?

So I’m confused on weather I am possibly pregnant or I’m not pregnant

So many mixed reviews...

It's it worth it ??? I Don't wanna have my hopes up

Emily
Emily ·

I have been trying now for 6 months and it is hard. It is worth it if ur unsure when u ovulate. I found out i was trying for 3 months at the wrong time. So im soooo happy i got this. But like i said in my review. U need to understand how long ur cycles go for. Each test is $2 really. So they arent cheap. Having an understanding of roughly when to start will help. But me, i have 12 flashy smiley faces until i got a frozen smiley face. But still didnt fall pregnant yet. Mother nature is crewl. U obly have 25% chance each month to fall pregnant. So just do what im doing and try ur best and hope for a positive test. But if not just take a deep breathe and try again. Good luck xxx
