    Not worth the money

    published

This product seems good when tried on my hand but then when i purchased it and tried it on my face it felt very thick and heavy like foundation and is very sticky and after an hour it ran into my eye and stung them smell like sunblock.
This is not for me. Will not purchase again.

    Beautifully spread but sticky finish

    published

I really wanted to love this sunscreen and it has a lot going for it - it spreads like a beauty and you don't need much for your face, theres no white cast and it soaks in pretty quickly. However my only downside is that the finish is rather uncomfortable, kind of sticky and just all-round unpleasant. I hate to touch my face after application.

Very good minus the metallic smell

Enjoy using this product though the only thing that annoys me is the string metallic smell. I can't wait till they fix this issue up. Product is also rated highly on Paula's choice website.

I love the City Block! ove all the Products! Very gentle on the skin, is for all ages! Dramatically Different is that gentle on the skin a baby from 6 months old can use it! I recomend it to be one of the best products sold in the world today! Why spend a fortune when you dont have too. Clinique is very reasonable in cost and stands higher above the rest, well I believe. I go to the Wagga Wagga Myer store for my products as the Consultant their is fantastic and very knowledgable and also willing to spend the time with you.
    Gentle, inexpensive
    Cant find fault

I would definately buy again. It's the best protection I have ever come across as far as sunscreen products go. Its quite thick and gooey and if you can handle the smell its a great product for under the sun.
Pretty sure mine is 40+ SPF which is great protection. I never ever get burnt with this on even when im outside for hours and i dont reapply.has a tint to it.
has an awful smell if you can get past that its the only complaint i have. I guess its expensive but i dont use it every day so it lasts me a while.

I have very fair skin and use this everyday to protect against photoaging and sundamage. I would recommend this to anyone.
non-greasy, a little bit goes a long way, can be used under foundation
absorbs quickly so need to be quick when applying

Love Clinique, it can be a bit pricey, but I find with Clinique a little goes a long long way. Therefore dont use to much as your just wasting your product and your more than likely to break out with pimples. I found that once i hit my thirty's it didnt work as well as it used to. i have friends who have said the same thing also. Great product but when you turn 30yo get something else as this wont be much good to you after that.
Love Clinique and City Block is just what you should use under your make up for the day. I found if you use to much your skin will brak out.
I dislike that Clinique skincare is really only good until you hit your thirty's then you need to look for something else.

Not my favourite as it only provides a SPF25 sunscreen - probably okay though for someone inside all day in an office. That's not me though so I need a higher SPF. It's quite a heavy cream and made my combination skin oilier and so I wouldn't use it at all under makeup. It's pretty expensive too for a basic blockout cream - doesn't compete well with other similar products on the market. Would be probably better for dry skin types I think.
A thick cream suitable for dry skins that need a sunblock too.
Heavy for oily/combination types. Seemed to make my combination skin greasier.
Sunblock is only SPF 25 and not SPF 30.

You get a small amount of sunscreen in this tube, so use it sparingly! This is great for drier skin types, but you could also use it if you have oily skin. It doesn't make my face shine with oil like other sunscreens do, and it's a great primer for under your makeup.
You can use it if you have any skin type. It's a great primer that helps your makeup to stay in place. There's a really cute keyring version!
It's a very small tube for a large price, I think the tube should be much bigger.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone with normal-dry skin type(but make sure you test it in store, so that you know you are ok with the distinct smell!)
It has a great tint & and doesn't leave white powder like veil on skin like some other sun screens. It works really well on my skin - not so drying on my skin. I have been using this product for 5+ years, and have never had a problem with it.
It has strong smell about it (not a perfume type of fragrance) & has a little more expensive price tag.

I used to buy this along with the rest of my Clinique products. I like the fact that it has a high SPF and that it is slightly tinted. For me both the 25 and the 30 spf was quite oily for my skin and had to use it as a base or primer under my make up with along with more coverage powder than I would normally use. I had stopped using it because my foundation now has a high SPF and had to throw out the remaining in the tube because it started to develop strange smell.
It has a nice tint to it.
Its expensive and does the job just as well as any other cheaper sun protector.
Its a little too oily for my skin. Obviously has a shelf life, will start to smell after some time.

I have a little sample of city block in a tube that came with a key ring. I have used it and am quite pleased with it. I like how it is tinted and has 30 SPF so you can use it instead of using a sunscreen and foundation by themselves.
I like how it is tinted so you just used this wehn you want a little bit of coverage, and you will not have to use a seperate suncreen product.
I have checked out the price in the department stores and it is way more expensive than what I am willing to pay.

It was my fav. It's not too dry and not too oily for my sensitive & combination skin. With spf and tint it is recommende for casual days.
    Lightweight. Easy to apply.

i would definitely endorse this product. its much lighter and easier to apply than the one i used before it (Megan Gale invisible zinc), and it actually does fade completely so you cant even tell its on! unlike the megan gale zinc which is still clearly visible!
its very light and easy to wear. can even be worn in water and will still protect your skin completely.

Its great that you can wear on its own as a sunscreen without having to put make up on aswell. I still use it and overall I am happy with it, but the cost is pretty high
That it has the SPF in it so that you don't have to apply more gunk to your face than necessary.
Cost - like all Clinique stuff. Also that it is visible after applying - gives a white look to my face, but if you are applying make up straight after then of course it isn't visible any longer. It feels like suffocating too
