Amazing tyres
These tyres came with our Land Rover Defender 90 and have done 122,000km on them with no problems. Includes the occasional off road trip as well as alot of towing. Have been now trying to buy the same again however everywhere says Continental have stopped bringing them into Australia now. A great pity as they are extremely durable.

Great tyre
Have had now for 80k on a Prado 150, they have been an outstanding tyre, lasted a trip towing 1.5t camper over the Gibb River rd and most side tracks, up to Mitchell plateau with no issues or punctures. they handle the heat of running low pressures at speed for long periods without failing. they are great on wet roads and not much more noise than OEM.

Great value for money
I run them at 38 psi on the road and 20psi on the beach in the Triton. Sure can be a bit slippery in the rain at 38 but slip into 4wd no trouble . Payed $235 per tyre no wonder there on all the new Disco,s.Great all rounder. No noise, wouldn't get any other tyre now

Great tyre for the price 245/70r16
These are really good tyres with good grip in both wet and dry. They are also good in mud and I was surprised to see how well the self cleaning works. Noise is mild for an all terrain tyre. Off road they are great, the walls are strong and can handle rocks and mild 4WD. I have done 25,000 km in them and they still look new. Overall a very good tyre for the money. I bought these on that 3+1 deal at Bob Jane owhen each tyre was $209.

Very Happy on My Pajero 35Ks so far
Bought a set of Conti Cross Contact LX back in 2011.
Done around 35000 ks being 90 % Sydney metro and on the beach at stockton quite a few times.
Very happy, good in the wet, i always put 42 Psi in seems to be the best for my needs.
Will have no problem buying these again..

Very Disappointed
I bought these tyres due to there reputation of being good wearing, good road dynamics and rolling resistance. I purchased these tyres for about $280.00 fitted and balanced. When compared to the big known brands of tyres in the 4wd community, they seemed to be good value...how wrong I was.
They have lasted just over 27,000km on about 80% sealed road and 20% gravel, they are now useless for registration and have to be replaced.

Confidence Off Road
My VW Amarok originally came with the “Continental cross contact sport” tire so I thought I would stay with the same brand. The Continental cross contact sport for the record is an awesome tire for on road (10/10 to the engineers at VW, they match beautifully with the car for on road performance). I had to upgrade to heavier tires though, as they were scuffing and cutting up when off -road.
First impressions of the ContiCrossContact A/T – it was a rainy day, initially slippery but have noticed they are better now, I think this might have b...Read more
een the factory grease/new? They will force you to take more care in the wet though. Body roll- compared to the previous tires, I have to reduce my speed around corners by at least 10 to 20%. They are not a hard rubber but make a minor skid noise when pulling up hard around corners on ashfelt and limestone. The Tire Company (Bob Jane $250 ea) said to run the pressures at 40PSI, but fully loaded ute plus a heavy trailer I had the rears set at near on 50+ psi. The tires bagged out with heavy weight, in an unloaded ute if driving on sand I notice you really have to let the pressures down to see real bagging of the tire (I presume this means the side walls are quite stiff/solid). Open bitumen road, – very impressed, they track well, road noise is minimal, you have to listen for it. Steering is true and easy. Sand – great at 16 to 25 psi and I can get through anything… After a big off road trip and off road on cutting rocks -No scuffing or side wall damage, don’t even look like they’ve been off road – (continental Cross contact/sport used the previous year at the same locations had cutting to the surface/side wall but no punctures).Similar opinion? Not as good in the wet as original fitment Kumho's
Bought these to replace original Kumho's on my Jeep after 43000 kms. The Conti's were noticeably smoother and a tad quieter but no where near as good as the Kumho's in the wet, and I can break traction in the dry on a quick get away with the Conti's, something that never happened with the Kumho's. I think the Conti's will deliver a little better mileage, I might try Michellins next time.

Will buy again, Continental crosscontact AT
I've had my cc AT's on my 2012 D40 for a little over 30 thou k 's now and I'm surprised. I originally brought them because of the tread pattern and the price, $700 for the set of 4 fitted etc, I've been to Fraser twice now on them and they can stop where everyone else gets stuck and pull them out (I obviously let them down unlike the ppl I'm pulling out). In the wet I have not found any fault with them except the nav keeps trying to spin em. In the dry dirt and on bitumen I found they also have great characteristics, very good alrounder. e completely honest, most of my driving is for work (tradie) and tow a 2 tonne trailer everyday, I'm pretty harsh on my tyres. I've got 30k as I said out of them and have at least 15-20k left and all the tyres are wearing evenly and I hadn't rotated the tyres since new. I'm buying them again and I think they are perhaps one of the top At performers.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Cross Contact AT OWL 245/70/16 size
First replacement tyres after my Mitsubishi Triton's original was worn. Chosed CrossContact AT because of reasonable price and the tyre's design over several other tyres. Since there is little review of these, I will chime in my initial impression. The tyres ride quiet on tarmac which was a pleasant surprise in view of the aggresive design.
Taking it off road through muddy, rain washed logging trails here in Sarawak, it took everything within stride. They are responsive to steering and I feel a lot more confident with these than my old Dunlop AT20. I got an average 11.4km/l on fuel consumption with the CC AT.
Quiet, Inexpensive, responsive, true AT
Hard to find, limited sizes at dealerships in my city

One of the only AT tyres to suit ford Ranger Wildtrak
I was having trouble getting a descent AT tire for my PK Wildtrak with 255/60/18 inch rims. The Continential was one of the only tyres to meet the vehicle tyre specs. Cooper and Goodyear and most other brands I looked at did not meet the required load and speed rating. So far so good they are quiet and handle sand and gravel quiet well, we'll see how they go for milage. They were also cheeper than the previously mentioned brands
Quiet on the hiway, good traction in the dirt and sand

Great Experience With This Tyre
First,my Mitsubishi Triton was equipped with stock tires Continental Contitrac (good for sandy and perfect for highway terrain). one day(after 2 months) i went off road in Baram area, it didn't have self cleansing ability. got stuck at mid hill mud for 3 hours. times to change to AT tires, i bought 4 CCC AT tires. it's a remarkable tire, it brought me deeper into Baram area like Long Banga, Long San, Lio Mato (Sarawak/Kalimantan border) 10 hours from Miri. i used it approximately for 68000 kilometers. my triton mileage meter today is 72560 kilo...Read more
meters. i like it's thread pattern, truly AT tire. Proofable low noise, AT = absolutely 50% on road and 50% off road, high mileage tire It's quite expensive, rare to find, lack of stock in my country, not many using it in my placeSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
