Hi
To track your order, you need to log in to your account.
Then under account go to order history section where you will see your current order. On the top right of the order details, there is a button to Track Shipment.
Just click that and you will get the updates.
Hope it helped.

Sorry for the late response.

At the present moment, the Zeiss Batis is still not available due to lack of supply of the lens. We expect that it might take another month for the item to be stocked up in order to process orders for the Batis Lenses.

Hope this helps answer your question.

I have a problem with verifying my order information. It asked me to provide with the supporting document to confirm my delivery address e.g Credit card statement. Is that safety to give them such a document?

Hello Kirsten,
This probably happened because your billing address and shipping address are not exactly identical. Can be something simple like having a suburb in one and not the other, or postal code error, etc.

I found sellers very hesitant to ship products anywhere not matching the billing address. The Credit Card companies usually side with the card card holder in disputes, leaving Sellers loosing out.

I'd suggest you first look at the address issue. Then double check the source of the DigitalRev email - it might be a phishing attack afterall.

If you are sure the email is genuine, make a copy of your credit card bill and black out all non-relevant information. Scan that page and send it. Remember to only show the first and last 4 digits of your credit card, that's all they need to make sure it's correct. Never send your full credit card number and billing address together via email. Email is not encrypted and anyone can read while its in transit in the Net. Also, never, never send the CCV code on the back of the credit card. The CCV is like a PIN code to authorize use of the card. With those details anyone can use your card.

If you plan to buy online regularly try and shield your credit card. Either get a prepaid debit card (VISA or MasterCard), or use a service like PayPal. if the debut card details gets stolen, you'll only loose the money you have on the card.

Hope it helps.

Hi Kirsten, I didn't give them a credit card statement. I sent them a scanned copy of my driver's licence.

What Ernst said in reply to your request is correct. There is no need to be concerned by DigiRev's request.

Hi Kristen,

I sent a screenshot from my phone of the order confirmation to get verified. It doesn't contain any credit card information, just proof of purchase details and your address, email etc. I believe it is secure as the site says it will not share what you upload. Hope this answer has helped you out.

Regards,
Tony

According to various reviews, DigitalRev sell Canon DSLRs and accessories in packaging that has been opened - why?

1 answer

Most of the items sold by DigitalRev does not come sealed from the supplier. This is because each serial number is checked manually in order to ensure that the correct item is being sent to you for warranty purposes. This, however, does not mean that the item is used. Every item sold by DigitalRev is brand new and never been used or tested on our end.

Hi Geeralyn,
As my packages arrived in Sydney first then transported to Melbourne before arriving in Adelaide, I am unsure if they would take the same route.
Assuming that they did, it would be 5 to 7 days.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Hi I'm planning to buy a Canon 70D from digitalRev (listed at AUD$985.01) and was wondering if the item will ship from Australia or overseas as I don't want to have to pay import taxes?

Shipments to Australia does not incur any VAT/GST charges. These charges are normally handled by DigitalRev as their courier bills them directly. It's called DDP shipments or Duty Delivery Paid deliveries.

I plan to buy a FE 55mm F1.8ZA from your shop through PayPal. Is this item on stock now? How soon can you ship once you have confirmed payment, which I believe is almost immediately with PayPal?

Hi. The warranty is a Nikon worlwide Service warranty (1yr) & can be repaired/sent to Nikon Australia Pty Ltd in Lidcombe NSW. This is the information that was sent with product. It is the first time I have used this website, but came highly recommended by a friend who buys all his products from DigitaRev. I hope this helps.

Has anyone had any experience with a faulty item? Understand that sometimes items are faulty but would like to know how the company was to deal with before ordering, just in case?

They're trustworthy company so their items are pretty good quality (and fast shipping too, DHL or FedEx shipping for orders more than $300, I believe). And if the items is damaged you will have insurance from the delivery company (but I never received any damage items) from either DHL or FedEx and Digital Rev will send another one to you :).
You also will get confirmation of your order, confirmation of delivery, and tracking features too.

I bought a tokina lens and when it arrived it didn't work. I contacted them and they said to send it back and it would be replaced. They also stipulated that it had to be registered mail and insured. This cost $82.55. They sent the new lens but didn't refund the postage. They said that their tech people looked at the lens and nothing was wrong with it so wouldn't be refunding. Very unhappy about that as I wouldn't have risked sending the lens back if I thought it was OK.

Have just had delivery of my Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ200. As expected the instructions are not in English. However their link (http://bit.ly/RC808t) to download the manual goes nowhere, and the Panasonic site does not offer a manual for download. Any clues please?

PS I have just received a fast reply form Digital Rev. They are puzzled by the sticker (within my packaging) giving this link, and have given me other links to download the user manuals.
I am impressed with their excellent delivery and after sales service so far. Will add more feedback when I get the camera up and going.
