Great little vac for a good price
Powerforce Dust & Gone (ZPF2320TP)I am a domestic cleaner and both my mother and a client have this vacuum cleaner. I really enjoyed using it so have just purchased one for myself to replace my 10 year old Miele. Positives: very long cord, very light (I have a 2 storey house so this matters - 4.26kg apparently), automatically adjusts between hard and carpeted flooring or you can set it to specifically either one, powerful suction which can be adjusted, lots of accessories including dusting brush and 3 different heads, glides over carpet easily, washable HEPA filter, stainless s
... Read moreteel not plastic telescopic tube, both horizontal and vertical parking for tube, the colour is called Watermelon Red - cool! Negatives: the 3-in-1 accessories (upholstery tool, brush and long reach tool) clip on to the tube and are not stored on board - these are annoying and I cannot vacuum easily with them attached. Got it on sale from Briscoes for half price at around $320. Currently selling at Farmers for $299. Don't confuse it with the Silent Performer that is also red. Note: This is the Powerforce Dust and Gone ZPF2320TP which has now been discontinued by Electrolux according to their website but Briscoes still had plenty in stock. My Mum says she only buys bags in packs of 4 at the Warehouse once a year for $15. Replacement Filter available: 1067548 - Hepa Filter ELE EFH12W Replacement Bags available: 1082959 - Vacuum Bag ELE S-Bag Classic E201S Set of 4 Note the filter needs replacing every 5 bag changes and there is a warning on the box when you purchase that if this isn't done the warranty will be void (I am assuming this is the main motor filter not the HEPA filter that is washable.)
Don’t make them like they use to
Powerforce Dust & Gone (ZPF2320TP)Had the vacuum for less than a year before it started falling apart. Cons: Main pole no longer stays up, Main head has worn causing Frey damage to mats and carpet, small wheels of main head broken off, main filter has blown out, very noisey machine, overturns easily, leaves a lot of dust and debris in bag compartment, flimsy cheap plastic components definitely don’t make them like they use to my grandparents had an Electrolux for best part of 40 years i’ve Had this for just over year don’t think it will last another however.

Very Quiet and does the job
Powerforce Animal (ZPF2300T)Bought this vacuum at the beginning of the year. It is very powerful and I only have the suction up to halfway otherwise it's too hard to vacuum!! It is surprisingly quiet considering how much suction power it has. The vacuum has a really long chord which is really good as you don't have to constantly unplug it to find a closer power point. Due to its shape I don't have a problem with it tipping over and the vacuum bags are easy to buy unlike other vacuums that require special bags.

Greatly disappointed in an Iconic Brand Vacuum
Powerforce Animal (ZPF2300T)After owning Electrolux vacuums many years ago and then having a Nilfisk Power for the last decade before a slow death, I was offered a good deal on this Electrolux vacuum and being use to the good quality build in the past, I thought I would take the deal. Now I vacuumed all the carpeted areas of the house and found it terribly difficult to drag the machine through the carpet as the little so called 360 degree wheels just got buried in the pile and was bottoming out. I also experienced so many constant static electric shocks from the plastic handle and flexible tubing. I tried rubber sole shoes and also hand cream to overcome this situation but was still getting some shocks. The little wheels don't run that well even on vinyl or ceramic tiles and they don't run over the cord and get stuck. Wish I could get my money back on this Electrolux. Powerful and quiet
Powerforce Animal All Floors (ZPF2310T)I am happy with the performance and suction of the Electrolux vacuum cleaner. Very disappointed
Powerforce Animal (ZPF2300T)I bought another Electrolux as the first one I had lasted 20 years and still works pretty well except the flexible tubing split. The Powerforce animal is very manoeuvrable but the construction is rather shoddy. The hepa filter does not seal well because the plastic clips do not grip it properly. Because of this, the suction is not very strong and that “vacuum smell” leaks out. One of the attachments won't click onto the pole and comes off when you vacuum. ... Read more vacuum 6 or 7 times. I returned it to the Good Guys for repair. I waited 4 weeks without hearing anything so went into the store. Apparently the repairer is waiting for parts and has a backlog of work. The repairer was very grumpy towards the Good Guys' staff when they rang. It is annoying that Electrolux has a policy to repair its products, but does not have a ready supply of parts for repairers. Yet another week has gone by with no news. I am surprised Electrolux would risk its reputation by selling shoddy products. Bad experience all round.

Accessories lasted only 6 months, hard to push. Avoid
Powerforce Animal (ZPF2300T)I purchased this vacuum and it worked pretty well when I got it. It's hard to push and noiser, but that was to be expected using the motorised head.
The mini-accessory broke the first week, the powerhead starting getting noisier and noise and eventually broke.
Rather than buying new accessories that will probably break regularly, I'm going to throw the whole vacuum in the bin and avoid Electrolux from now on. I bought a Dyson like I had before, which lasted- together with my accessories, 10 years. Note it was a very cheap vacuum, I got it from Good Guys for about $200 from memory.

Powerful Feels Cheap
Powerforce Dust & Gone (ZPF2320TP)I bought this on name and it goes quite well but it has a slightly cheap feel to it. Its powerful and noisy too and provides good suction but doesn't have that 'last for 20 years' feeling that they used to have. The wheels seem particularly cheap so I guess we'll see how long it all lasts. For now it does do a good job. It's a little annoying to empty but apart from that it works well.

Does a good job, hard to push
Powerforce Animal (ZPF2300T)This vacuum does the job well, especially as we have a very large hairy dog. I prefer to have the suction up fairly high for effectiveness but this makes it quite hard to push on carpet as the suction is so strong. Within a few months, one of the wheels on the vacuum head fell off, and the retailer quickly swapped the whole head. Previously had an Electrolux ultraperformer which i definitely preferred as it was easy to push with great suction and had the controls on the stick.

A brilliant machine
Powerforce Animal All Floors (ZPF2310T)My husband bought this vacuum for our new house which has both hard/tiled and carpeted floors. It is so quiet and light weight to pull around. Strong suction for the wattage. Our previous Also bagless was difficult to open and empty. This one is so simple.
A great machine at the price.

Powerforce Animal (ZPF2300T)Bought this as a replacement for a Nilfisk (which we were very happy with and which stopped working after many many years) as this had great reviews. Not very happy with the purchase.
The Electrolux vacuum cleaner has good suction but on wooden floors it feels like the wheels are scraping the floor. Pretty bad suction on small objects. You have to manually place the vacuum head on bits of dirt or it won’t suck it in, which results in it taking ages to vacuum the house!
The attachments are pretty poorly designed and almost useless as it doesn’t do its function well..
Not happy with this purchase. Except for the motor power and it being light weight, no positives.
Great vacuum replaced out long lived nilfisk
Powerforce Dust & Gone (ZPF2320TP)This vacuum has Excellent suction, very long power cord which is great, and it's easy to manoeuvre. Hoping it lasts many years as our other. It has a cool little duster that you can whip out and use. Then when you pop it back into the canister it gets cleaned.

Good Suction, VERY POOR Attachments!!
Powerforce Animal (ZPF2300T)We bought 2 of the Power Force (1 for us & one for our disabled daughter) after having an Electrolux Ultra Filtration Oxygen Line model for many years without too many problems and the fact that Choice gave it the best overall score.
Imagine our shock when we went to connect the head for tiles & carpets into the metal hose when the spring loaded latch flew apart. This was before it had even been used!

... Read morelly spoke with a lady who said they would send one out within the week. 2 weeks later I had to phone again to ask when it was coming and it turned up nearly 2 weeks later. Would you believe the next day the same thing happened to the other vacuum cleaners tile/carpet head. I have been told it will be here within a week. There are a number of smaller issues we have with this vacuum cleaner:- a) The rear wheels are to small to ride over the electrical cable and with the hose coming out of the top, when you pull the cleaner along it turns upside down & then the on/off is activated turning the unit OFF. b) The turbo head does not fully engage in the metal hose so the slightest knock to the head throughs the alignment of the whole head/tube/handle assembly then making it difficult to steer the head. c) When you are pulling the electrical cord out there is no indication on when you are near the extent of the free cable and if you pull to much you are likly to put undues stress on the fixing. I have put coloured tape at 30cm, 60cm & 90cm from the end of the cable travel.
Looking for a reasonably priced good performing barrel vac
Powerforce Animal (ZPF2300T)Was looking for a replacement for my Dyson which I found was good but too bulky to pull around. Was directed to this one by the salesperson at Good Guys and it was on special also for $190... bargain...
It's easy to empty the bag. It is relatively quiet and stores away easily. It has a very long power cord and it reasonably light, fantastic suction and great for cleaning pet hair. The only downside are the small wheels at the back which make it hard to pull around which is a little disapointing otherwise a really good vac.
Unexpected Bonus
Powerforce Animal All Floors (ZPF2310T)I bought this because the cat was leaving hair all over the house and causing me issues like sneezing constantly etc. well I got a big surprise when I notice from day one my sneezing subsided and now I vacuum every 2nd day and my allergies have all but disappeared.
The price was really good too which also surprised me as I didn't expect it to be as good as Eelectrolux claimed.
Easy to use, nice long chord is a bonus and it cleans tiled floor as well as carpet and furniture.
Nothing negative to say.

I would like to know the purpose of all the attachments please.
Hi Had ours going on 15 months, and it appears to be heating up, part of the top filter has melted, and also burn marks over the orange section as you close over the top filter.
I will be taking it back to store, but wondered if this was a common fault ?
I had the same problem so I purchased an after market filter and have had no more disintegrating filter
